It’s so hard to like Allison after they moved so fast after forcing Luther to almost have sex with her! They hardly acknowledge that part and it to me is one of the most evil thing she did in the season and some how we are still to believe she has good reason for her decision. She also got divorced for using her powers on her children in season but she never mentions how a terrible mother she actually was. This season really made her out to be the villain and I love it but it’s arguably hard for me to understand her reasoning Behind her actions at the same time.

I hated her too until I seen her with her daughter in the end. If you have children, it’s not hard to believe that losing one could turn you cold and empty. No doubt a parent would do absolutely anything to get their child back.

I think post-credits Ben is a reset of Umbrella Ben both because of the appearance /demeanor change and the Umbrellas on his book. There will be 2 Bens S4.

I think Reginald’s motivation from the very beginning was to bring his wife Abigail back. At the end of scene in which we saw her die he opened the jar and released the essence out to the universe (I can’t remember if that was in season 1 or 2) . That essence is what gave the children their special powers. He always knew he needed 7 of the children to reset the universe.

Two things I wanna share. I wished we got more of Ben and his character development this season, but I feel like that would be a topic for Season 4 as he bonds with the Umbrella Academy again. It would’ve been badass if Five got a prosthetic arm instead of getting it back, but I’m interested in how the Umbrella Academy doesn’t have their powers anymore.

3 theories 1 when everyone that got on the stars got sucked, their powers were sucked with them. and we don’t know if allison still has her powers because she ain’t try. but if she still did that could be one reason 2 it’s sir regs “perfect version of the universe” so he either wanted all control (which equals to them not having powers for him to be more controlling) or with fear that they would try to hurt him/his wife 3 reset, it was literally a reset. which means they got reseted and with that they lost their powers

@@KiYasiaDreams I kinda believe that Reginald actually gave them the powers? Maybe? And in this new timeline he didn't see any use for the umbrella academy so he didn't released the gold dust. Remember in season one we saw him in a flash back releasing that same gold dust. So basically the umbrella's were even given the chance to exist and they were reset with the universe. That's why Luther came back to life and with his original body, and five got his arm back, and even Klaus doesn't have any tattoo on him.

Reg reset the universe to his liking and now rules the world with all those buildings that had his name on it…definitely interested to see how they handle him if their is a next season.

@@timm2396 it feels so wonky now, it doesn't feel clever at all, I remember thinking how mysterious the commission was , and how it all ties up with alien hargreeves, not it just feels like their making things up without no incentive of explaining things throughly; an example is pogo, we saw in the trailers and wondered how did pogo work at a tattoo parlor in this alternate time, the writers explanation, got fired that's all

This season was so amazing and has so much plot twist, literally can't wait for season 4 though i am convinced that there's 2 Bens and that Sloane is alive maybe stuck somewhere else like how Allison suddenly appeared in her house instead of the park like the rest of everyone else

Ugh. Allison's interests have been so self-seeking throughout this entire season. It was really difficult to like her or feel sorry for her, constantly treating Viktor like an asshole. She was so blinded by her pity party that she couldn't fathom what Viktor's intentions were. She's basically also a hypocrite - for one being mad at Viktor for lying when she also did with regards to the deal she made, as well as not entirely understanding what she did at the end (even asking Viktor to trust her) and how much it could affect the world/her family as opposed to Viktor choosing to save Harlen. I get that she lost the love of her life and her kid, but Viktor also lost the love of her life and indirectly the kid (Harlen). It's just upsetting. Don't even get me started on how wrong it was with what she did to Luther.

Yes what she did to Luther was very wrong, but Victor had it coming. He ended the world the first time and nearly killed Allison. He was also the reason they couldn't stay in the past. On top of that he lied about Harlan killing their mom's. Growing up, even Luther admitted Allison was the kindest to Victor. So it's understandable after losing her actual husband and her actual child, her losses are a bit more than Victor losing someone he was having an affair with, and a child he knew for weeks maybe months.

Let's be real here, Allison was always a dick playing an angel. She abused multiple people throughout the show with her powers including her own *child*. She played Luther for the first two seasons, making him believe she actually loved him which was super fucked. Especially considering Luther had it the worst out of all of them, being infused with monkey DNA and isolated on the moon for years. Now she sold out her family (and the potential universe) to Hargreeves just so she could eliminate her ex husband and the father of her child to replace his existence with Ray.

Five is def my favorite out of the cast, he carried this season by a long shot

I would say that Alison died, that is an observation taken from Klaus skills. Klaus is free to walk between life and death, and we got a glimpse of the afterlife thanks to him, especially after Luther died and they're jumping around and when they get to de party escenario Klaus said "This is someone's idea of heaven" meaning that each place they jumped to was likely to be someone's ideal place and escenario to live eternity. So, we know that Alison wanted to go back to Ray and have his kid back, which was impossible to put in the same time line, she decided to sacrifice herself at the last minute and that send her to heaven. That also explains why she goes back to life with the wounds, unlike the others. But also the post on the umbrella academy's oficial ig page saying "I heard a rumour someone doesn't survive" or something like that says it all about why Alison didn't got back with the other, she died instead of sacrificing the other 7 and instead of only getting her daughter back she got both things she wanted the most.

So I kinda liked they gave her a nice ending even if it meant death

Sloane could possibly not be there because she isn’t part of the original squad so she could be living her life with her original family rather than being with them in the academy. Though Lila being there somewhat contradicts the theory she’d always been in and around the area and them so it would kind of make sense for her to re-enter their timeline with them.

So either Reginald wanted to keep both Umbrella Ben and Sparrow Ben or he was killed before choosing which Ben to keep. Sloane is where Reginald reset her to be, most likely with her biological family, just like Alison reset straight back to her daughter.

During like the process Reginald probably programmed the reset universe to be the perfect universe as Reginald is mega big boss corporate man now, no powers, Benny boy is alive, Luther’s human body and such. Sloane would be busy with something else it seems

This season was exciting and interesting all the way through. I really liked the dynamics that were pushed and pulled out in The Umbrellas and Lila.

Allison went full out Wanda and I wasn't sure how I felt about that. And this season felt a lot more disjointed and not paced as well as I'd hoped for.

but didn't Reginald literally reset the universe the way he wanted? the buildings in the end all belongs to him and he said he will keep his deal to Allison so he probably included Allison's wish in the new universe just as he removed all of the powers of the umbrella academy

Allison wasn’t healed because she wasn’t effected by the change. They gave us an indication when her voice couldn’t stop Reg at the control station. If you are at the controls, you can’t be touched by the change. She probably still has her powers as well.

Reggie fully went into it with there only being 7 of the kids there, for the "7 bells" she was meant to be on the platform and killed too so no one would be able to stop him from operating the machine. But Klaus killed himself before he got sucked by the blackhole and came back. Klaus wasn't intended to be there, so Alison would've been on the star. I think leaving Alison out when Klaus showed up was a calculated risk by Reggie. It came down to Five or Alison and Five wouldn't hesitate to kill him immediately before Reggie could do anything, so he had to be the one on the star. Alison because of their deal and because she was the most desperate was the best bet to finish the reset and listen to him.

Sloane was the best part of Season 3. I really hope they keep her alive for the fourth season as also she adds to the female cast which is severely lacking so killing her wouldn’t make sense. I also really miss Fei and tbh the biggest shock of the season was how early Marcus, Jayme and Alphonso were killed off. Originally I thought the big kugelblitz ball transported ppl to another universe so when he was absorbed he didn’t die and we’d see him later on. Very interesting but so glad Sloane was the final girl of the group as her (and Fei’s) powers were deffo the coolest

I agree, I was really hoping for more of the sparrow academy, a shame they died off real quick. But maybe they'll be back for the next season as the universe reset, so they are most likely there just not the sparrow academy, but that's honestly a huge MAYBE

I don’t know about anyone else but I didn’t really like how the Sparrow Academy members felt so “wasted” if that makes sense. For example I was hype for Marcus’s character but that dude just died in the first episode like nothing, it just made them look insignificant and i thought they really cool(assholes but imo cool, especially Fei with her crows😩🤌). Also I like Allison but she definitely turned into a villain this season and i hated seeing her like that. BUT i still think this season was good and i wanna see a season 4

Definitely, specially with how S2 ended I thought they would be more important in this season and the conflict would be related to them in some way. The whole cameras everywhere, their relationships as siblings etc so much wanted potential

I would of liked to have seen more of Marcus. Fei was my favourite sparrow. Chris felt like a background prop. Spit girl was cool too. I actually liked the sparrows more than I thought I would.

I loved season three, but I have to admit, some of the characters didn’t feel the same. Especially Luther, like in season one and two, he was so in love with Allison, would do anything for her, but in this season, he acted like their “history” was nothing, he easily went with Sloane, which is good (wasn’t a fan of incest), if it was a slow build romance. Their relationship seemed too forced. Anyway, I can’t wait for season four.

Whereas Luther in season three completely acted like he and Allison didn’t have a incest relationship, he was completely a different character, didn’t knowledge Allison most of the time, which is not Luther, in my opinion, from seeing him in two seasons, but whatever, at least there’s no incest relationship anymore, I guess. I just wished the writers didn’t do it sloppy and out of character.

This season definitely had its ups and downs for me. I really like Sloan and I really do hope that she comes back to be with Luther cuz honestly, those two deserve happiness. I am glad that we got to explore more of Klaus’ ability and learn just how powerful he can be, but I was rather disappointed with the direction they took with Diego’s character, especially considering the peek we got last season with the bullets that he managed to re-direct. With him being a father for a day, this could’ve been the perfect opportunity to not only highlight his protectiveness as a father figure, but also explore the limits of his ability with a healthy motivator. I get that he can be an ass a big portion of the time, but he also had a side of him that wants to protect and it feels discouraging when the others shit on him excessively for being a ‘discount Batman’. Luther… he did seem a little overtly soft this season and while I’m not bashing on it, it’s just… Idk, he sort of came off as useless this time around. The transition from Vanya to Viktor felt… normal? Honestly, I don’t really have much to say on that mainly bcuz the acceptance and normality of the interactions felt pretty normal to me and that’s not bad. I’m not trans, but I am bisexual and my coming-out was pretty normal and uneventful, so this felt right to me. Nothing overtly special or controversial, just “You’re Viktor now? Cool.” It did feel a little out of place storywise, but that’s about it. I did like though how close Luther and he became and I really enjoyed their moments together, especially considering how Luther treated him at the end of the very first season. They definitely feel more like brothers now. My number one dislike though this season was Allison. It felt disconnected from all of the progress and self-reflection that she already had begun to do throughout the previous seasons that it was hard for me to remain sympathetic. And the worst part is that her blaming Viktor and acting as if she was the victim in all of this just comes across as self-centred and incredibly hypocritical, especially considering the fact that she played a major part in Viktor’s neglect by rumouring him to forget that he had powers. It’s also ironic when you consider the similarities between Viktor’s breaking point at the end of season one to Allison’s this season; both had enough of the inner turmoil that they were facing and took it out on everyone else. The only problem is that arguably, Viktor was more justified in his breakdown than Allison so if anything, it makes me even more upset towards Allison for turning her back on her family and acting as if she was the only one wronged here. Overall, while there were things in this season that I really enjoyed, it did fell disconnected from the first two seasons, rushed and a little all over the place. I didn’t quite understand Grace’s role this season and why she became a religious fanatic for some reason. It felt a little out of place and nonsensical. I’m also a little disappointed with how they handled the Sparrow academy, but maybe we’ll see them again next season. Fingers crossed.

That's make no sense beacue this is a different universe we're Reginald has his own empire and Allison has her family everything is changed I think that the end screen scene is in the the different time line we're Ben lives so things in the family git different So esencialy Reginald made a mistake or smth i dunno its confusing

It was unexpected but kinda bad timing and irrelevant especially for the first minutes of a new season. this season feels all over the place. From the beginning to the end of the season Diego was so stupid and useless (for me).

It was interesting seeing Allison turn into a villain. I think people forget that she established so many different lives for herself and lost so much - just like everyone else. Naturally, everyone copes with loss differently. That being said, it does not justify her actions; her assaulting Luther was unacceptable, and I’m sad that that was just swept under the rug. Really hated her at that moment. I wonder where they’ll take her new villain arc next season.

Honestly the only way she can be redeemed at this point is, lose everything again, own up to every fucked up thing she did, and grow from it. She doesn't deserve the happy ending she has right now.

Sometimes I wonder who's the most powerful umbrella member? Many would say Viktor because he literally ended the world twice but i think it's Klaus??? Cause he can literally bring back the dead to life for some time and the fact that he's literally immortal. Or maybe it's just Five i don't know.

I think the reason why Sloane wasn't there with everybody else is because it was part of the deal Allison made with Reginald. I think the deal was that she would cooperate with Reginald to make his plan to reset the universe work as long as she was reunited with Ray and Claire and that everyone from the umbrella academy and Ben would come back to the new universe safely (apart from Sloane because she held a grudge against her).

I doubt Allison cared about Sloan and Luther being in a relationship. Her main concern was her daughter above all else. Everything else lost meaning once she started realising that her daughter could be lost forever. She was only really angry at whatever/whoever was responsible for the loss of her daughter.

I don’t think the Ben from the mid credits scene is Sparrow Ben, rather the dead umbrella Ben. They have the same hairstyle, and it wouldn’t make sense showing Sparrow Ben in the end as if it were a surprise. Considering it’s a full reset and Luther came back from the dead, I do think that reset also brought back Umbrella Ben. This would be a pretty good plotline in S4 considering there are now 2 Bens in this world.

It was fun & crazy, which we’ve come to expect from Umbrella Academy, but I still have absolutely no idea about the bigger picture. Hargreeves character, background & goal are so confusing to me I have no idea. I feel like some of those questions should of been answered this season. It’s fine to end with cliffhangers and stuff but I honestly feel like I learnt nothing new from this season.

And I don’t know If I’m buying the “hotel oblivion” stuff… We needed more answers bc in fact, we got zero answers to any of our questions. So disappointed and it hurts even worse since I love this show I’m about to cry

I agree, the writing seemed pretty off this season. Also the budget was cut which made the effects and camerawork pretty weak too. I was a bit disappointed.

Allison never talked about the specifics of the deal she made with their “dad,” so maybe it was all part of the plan. Allison’s task was to kill their dad in that timeline after he was done setting up the computer, and then press the button. Allison would get to go home and their dad would get the life he wanted with his wife in a different timeline

I can't believe how genius Reginald was, how he planned all this, how he managed to unravel all of this! It just made me amazed, he's one of my favorite characters in this show.

Yeah, I'm not very impressed with this season. I feel like there was too much chaos and missed opportunities. Storylines were cut short and scenes, such as Klaus' death, were shrugged off almost immediately.

I was hoing to see all the Umbrella Accademy siblings react to his death, not just Diego and his 'son'! Overall they didn't seem too concerned about each other. I know with the world constantly ending they have bigger things to worry about, but I thought they would have learned that someone missing or DEAD is a big deal. They all seemed way too chill about the universe ending, too. I get if some of them were, but all of them?

Really disliked allison this season omg especially the part where she rumoured luther… in season 2 when she was with ray luther never forced himself on her and respected her decision, heck he even went to vent his frustrations through other means (eg fighting in the ring) but when luther finally moved on from allison and even found the love of his life, allison really had the audacity to think that she still owns him… it seems like he had always been her “backup” plan. Yeah i get it allison lost both her husband and daughter but that does not justify her actions throughout the entire season, especially her attitude towards the whole umbrella academy

Allison loved toying with luther and keeping him on the backburner for when her life inevitably goes to shit due to her own fucked up actions. Her own words she said she can use him for her own distraction. Ever since the first season she's just really always played rhe victim and treated everyone else like shit. It seems like shes always the one getting pissed and doing horrific shit, yet the other characters end up apologizing for some reason? She attempts to rape luther then later he apologizes to her for marrying sloane? Like wtf? Then with harlan. Viktor was waiting for the right time to tell everyone so harlan didnt get hurt because he didnt mean what he did. It's understandable considering the bond that viktor and him shared. Then allison ends up murdering him, for no other reason than to hurt viktor, yet he's the one that ends up apologizing to allison?? And now allison has a seemingly happy ending. Honestly, I hope in season 4 she really fucks up and loses her kid and ray for good. She needs to own up to everything shes done, pay for it and grow from it.

Tbh this season is so confuse. The ending for me is like "what? that's it"

I feel like we saw Umbrella Ben in that end credits scene and I feel like we explored Klaus' powers a bit more. He brought back Luther for a bit and he wasn't ghostly, he was solid. We also saw him being able to come back from the dead much more quickly. Finally, they are still teasing us by constantly having his shoes off!

I personally wanted to watch more of the sparrows, some of them were starting to grow on me but then they died...

The only ones I liked was fei and Ben, I really wanted her powers to be explored more and how it was interesting being the only one blind. Christopher seems interesting and the whole time I was wondering how was he borned or how did he turn like that, or was there a part that I missed that explains it. The rest was boring, sloane was a bit boring and one dimensional for me, at times I forgot she even existed. As for the other girl who only have venom or whatever she spits from her mouth was incredibly annoying, plus her powers seems a bit useless because it can easily be blocked. The other guy with the deformed face was also very annoying, his powers also seemed useless because it only works when someone hits his face. As for number 1 or Marcus( I may have forgotten his name) I kind of wanted him to be explored more especially his powers and how did it correlates with Luther’s power. Overall the show seemed very rushed and a lot of things were all over the place even though they were following the comics. By far season 2 is the best season for me.

@@Joy.W. It's not just the face, it's the body as well. When Diego and the kid ( I don't remember his name) were fighting in the store, the kid threw a knife to Alphonso's leg and he got a cut as well!

At last episode reggie said ‘whoever have built the universe must have built this portal’ so the one who really built the universe according to TUA will come for reggie ,then again he will use the 7 to protect him

I read a lot of comments about how Reginald's main goal was to bring his wife back which I do agree with, but many people forgot that in this season in a cut scene when Luther was on the moon, it showed Reginald's wife in some sort of space thingy preserved on the moon. This could be why Reginald sent Luther to the moon to make sure noting happens to that body. I also realized that when Luther tried to pass a certain point where Abigail was it said access denied.

it was an interesting season for sure. not sure why they had allison pulling a wanda maximoff and going full villain mode but i hope they redeem her character next season. also the tone of this season felt kind of wishy washy. some moments it felt like a comedy, other times it was more serious, the plot felt kinda crazy too. not the best season but i'm excited to see how things are going to turn out

The whole lila and diego plotline was just so bland and annoying. They dont work as a couple and lila isnt interesting at all.

That ending confused me so much!! I stayed up all night and don't get me wrong I am a huge Umbrella fan but I liked the first half of the season a lot better. Luther's all of the sudden relation with Sloane left me confused and didn't like it as much. Many might hate Allison i do a bit but I understand her reasons on why she acted so different with her family. I guess all we have to do if wait for a season 4 to be confirmed to see what's next cause so far the comics are just 4 issues one of them being focused on Klaus.

After watching season 3 Hargreaves, I realise my family ain’t that toxic rofl

am I the only who doesn’t know about ben’s “jennifer” accident? and the drawing in his room? thought they would somehow tackle it this season. sooo curiouss

Didn't like how they wasted most of the Sparrows especially Fei (tbh, I really liked her character design). I feel bad for Harlan the most, he didn't meant to kill their mothers, he had no control of his powers and when he's finally free he got killed by Allison (who I hated this season). And lastly what's even the point of Stan's character?? He's just Diego's fake son. There's a lot of plot points here that didn't go nowhere and they decided to leave us with an unsatisfied cliff hanger. Personally, they could've just focused on the Sparrows instead of pulling another "it's the end of the world" story.

I think Sir Reginald reset the timeline to save “the world he lost” because it is impossible for Alison 1963 husband to be the father of her 2019 child. That was only possible because of the deal they had together. Sir Reginald’s goal has always been to save his wife (and Maybe his world), that’s why when he saw them in 1963 he realized the 7kids he picked failed to help him reset the timeline that’s why he adopted and created the Sparrow Academy so as to achieve success. What I think is, Number 5 still got the tattoo and still got his hand cut so what he saw happened to his 100years old self actually happens; meaning what ever perfect time reset they think they have I don’t think it’s actually real. Or he brought them to HIS Timeline/World

I’m thinking that Five will conduct “The commission” in this new timeline. It’s just a hunch but it seems that the commission board doesn’t exist in this new timeline. I also think that the Five that we saw earlier in the show. (The one that died) is maybe the Five that is also in that timeline (the new timeline), just grew old. And maybe the reason why he founded the commission board is to put everything back in their own places, which failed. So I really think that the (old five that died) wanted the current Five to approach or find him - as we see in the episode with Lila. (And practically wants this current Five to stop or avoid the mistakes that the dead Five failed to do). So I really don’t think we’ll see the world end in the next season. Maybe we’ll see them rip the timeline… or maybe not…

The fact that old Five is missing an arm means they did get inside of hotel Oblivion in old Five timeline and had a fight with samurai who cut five’s arm. But they didnt restore the timeline, because old five didnt get his arm back and our five did get his arm.

I think all what was suppose to happen that lead 5 to create the commission happened ( his tattoo and cut hand) so it’s safe to say the events that lead to the creation of the commission is yet to happen and will probably happen in the next season. I have always believed time travel most often leads to a time loop…where the end is most often the result of the beginning and the beginning is the end.

I think that Ben and Klaus might be one of the most important members. In season 1 we saw them together and how Ben helped Klaus to start developing his power, S2 we saw a continuation of that and S3 Klaus keeps on discovering new things he can do, I think he’s the only character we continuously see developing his power. Also his story is separated from the rest since most of the time Klaus it’s not even aware of what’s going on in the fam and his powers don’t really get used, also maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think Laila can replicate his powers. And with Ben we don’t really see a lot of development or deep diving into his powers but he as they mention this season has an important role in their functioning as family and for him to be brought back again at the end of the season + his connection with Klaus I think something really big it’s plan for them both.

the huge plot hole that annoyed me is when harlen explained he can sense ANYBODY that has powers, so is it fair to establish that when he went nuclear and had a link to the mothers of the original 7 he would have also had a link to all the mothers who were going to give birth, effectively killing all supers, why was it specific to the original 7? just seemed like shoddy writing or a massive overlook. if it was only Viktors mother I could understand and honestly would have made more sense.

So my thought process on this was he reached out to the 6 ( not 7 since Ben was dead) frequencies he was familiar with, because he said he felt them, and said that each person has their own vibrations so he locked onto the 6 he knew closely instead of all of the Super kids

Yea I was really confused about Harlen's power, how does he have the link to the mothers in the first place? The mothers don't have powers, they only gave birth to those who do have powers. So by that logic, can he kill anyone in the universe by knowing their 'vibration'? How does he know their vibration when he hadn't even met any of the mothers? And if his power is only a portion of Viktor's power, surely Viktor can do the same? and why was his power red and Viktor's power blue. Soo many questions! Make it make sense!!

@@rainingdewdrops so he killed them the moment right before the babies were born like when the particles entered the mothers and the babies were growing. So it was in the moment between the particles entering the mothers and prior to being birthed that Harlan could sense them and tries to reach out then once he noticed it was actually the others he tried breaking off the connection but was stuck and accidentally killed them. And yes number 7 could probably do the same thing but has had a very short amount of time to even train their abilities which Harlan had much longer.

I think Harlen would sense mothers with particles inside of them but right before giving birth. And only 6 mothers of our heroes, because he met them in his timeline. He didnt met other superhumans.

I don’t rly like this szn, I expected a bit more from it but it was still gd. I just had higher exceptions.

There was a scene where Five is talking to Viktor about not going rogue and possibly becoming a villain. Which is fair considering she almost ended the world twice and kept Harlans actions a secret. But that speech should have been given to Allison this season.

I loved this season but like I kinda wish they never lost there powers from it 😭

IMO season 2 was the peak writing. They tried to do too much in season 3 and weren’t as successful as writing themselves out of dead ends as they did in season 1 and 2. The emotional beats also felt slightly undercooked and the arguments sometimes felt like they went round in circles. The budget was significantly higher, but I wish we had an iconic fight scene like the boardroom Five scene. I would also genuinely watch a show devoted to Diego and Lila and their crazy x crazy relationship and how they struggle to navigate a normal family life. Also the Britne Olford as Fei was a scene stealer in every shot she was in, I hope they develop her more in the future

cause at the end it was literally just ben and sloane, they hyped all the characters for the sparrow academy on their instas and stuff but the only person left from the ending was ben.

Overall I really enjoyed the show, tho I must say many arguments and disputes they had, couldve been dealt with by talking to each other. Sure it should be entertaining, but I often found myself like "geez just fucking talk to each other". Especially with that Marcus kidnap.. why did Allison have to lie and tell them they had him... but Allison overall went kinda crazy in this season. And why the fuck did she have to kill Harlan, it changed nothing, it was just revenge for something he didnt do on purpose plus he wouldnt even have powers if they didnt time travel. Kind of a bitch move imo. Regarding the transition from Vanya to Victor was quiet good imo. Important topic which didnt feel forced. I really hope we get more answers in the next season. Especially if more of the sparrows got resurrected because technically they should exist right?

This season was great, so many plot twists and crazy turns. I was just shocked that most of the Sparrow Academy was killed off so fast, especially no.1 aka Marcus, and then the rest too eventually. Then there was this insta-love between Sloane and Luther which was a bit confusing. We've seen Luther pining for Alison since s1 and now he just suddenly fell for Sloane after a day and married her in like a week? I get that they didn't have much time with the end of the world and all but damn! Also, Alison was kinda insufferable this season lol, I get her reasons but I also think it was neither Harlan nor Viktor's faults, so for her to kill the former and be so cruel to the latter was just so not cool! The season was kinda confusing but still entertaining nonetheless. I hope it gets picked up for s4 because if not Imma riot. About the rest, I loved it. Lila and Diego were top tier, 5 was awesome as always and remains my fave character, Viktor was cool, Ben was highly entertaining to watch, especially because he was so different than the one we've seen as a ghost, and the rest was just splendid. Just wished we had more Pogo screentime tho. Overall, the season was a success IMO. P.S. what the fuq was up with mom/grace? She's a robot right? So what was with all the religious crap when it came to the kugelblitz in the basement lol?

I really hope Allison has what’s coming to her next season. I do not think she deserves a happy family unlike the rest of her family who are dazed and confused. Especially poor Luthor who got married :

Get over it. Like 5 said they all did things. It was Alison this season being the bad guy. Sort of a lame quick write on Harlan. In the end she made the right decision and saved everyone.

I disliked Allison this season but I hate when people bring the rumor scene with her daughter in to make her look bad. It's not like she harmed her kid and I think everyone with her powers would have done the same. It's just not that big of a deal...

Abigail was there since S1, the beginning of the last episodes shows a flashback of Reggie and her, on her deathbed. In the comics, the alien planet where Reggie came from was on the brink of death. Seeing the various rocket launching kinda implies that their world was indeed ending in the Netflix show as well. Reggie released the 43 alien particles in hopes of forming the 7 individuals who will power up the universe-resetting machine. That's always been his endgame and ultimate goal. But I think the universe resetting machine in the end was set to grant everyone's deepest, truest desires. Kinda like Wanda (and Prof X) creating the House of M reality where everyone got what they really wanted. That's why Allison can have both youthful Ray and Claire on the same timeline. Luther's ape physique was an after effect of Reggie's serum when Luther was badly injured in a mission. So that's not part of his alien particle powers. His wish was to have his old, human body back. etc. This leads us back to Sloane, who's heart desires is to travel the world, the way she said it to Luther. With the machine working and Abigail alive and well, Reggie didn't need to release the 43 alien particles in the first place. Thus that explains why no one has any powers in this new reality. If you say because they were drained, yes but it was on the previous, destroyed reality. Five's restored arm and Diego's fingers, along with them having perfectly healthy condition signifies whatever happened in the previous reality was reset in the current one. One more thing, the Ben in the mid credits scene is the original, Umbrella Academy Ben. Clues being there are no scars, his hairstyle is different, plus his love for books (In S1 E2, Ben was reading a book about Anton Chekhov the day Five blinked to the future). So in this new reality, there are two Bens running around, the Umbrella one and the Sparrow one.

theory is amazing but about Ben, Diego's scar was also healed and things like Klaus' hello and goodbye tattoos no longer existed so sparrow bens scar simply just healed. Also the director of the show confirmed that the Ben on the train IS sparrow Ben.

@@mariam-qi9bv Ah thank you so much, I didnt know about the director confirming that it's Sparrow Ben. Guess that theory is out of the window then. So they were basically reborn in a way, without physical scars, deformity or diseases then.

Ngl , I already miss victor’s powers , I don’t think it’s because of the particals because when Allison killed their father victor got up and used his powers saying “don’t make me do this “ I think harrgrives took their powers when he was setting it up , so there would be no potential threats for him , maybe he took out the mysterious pregnancies out of reality

Yeahhh and i think everyone's powers are gone except for Allison because her powers were never taken. I really think Allison will be portrayed (kind of a villain) in season 4 because of how everyone ended up in one place without powers and she literally woke up in a perfect life for her.

Started at 3am glad i’m not the only one who binged it.

I am utterly disappointed by the almost non-existent combat between sparrow and umbrella academy. Also, because Kugelblitz is not well explained. Like... where did people go? Did they just disappear like.. with Thanos? Also, if they can revive a dead person, that should have happened with the old Ben. There are too many things left unanswered in S3. TBH, I need to watch it one more time from the top (S1). Maybe I missed smthg?

It was inspired by the blackhole which is still a mystery and that makes sense

I usually don't like time travel stuff, but I loved this season

We know that their "Dad" used the machine to reset the uinverse but he change it to his own likings because he now rules the world nad they have now powers Its like he used the spear of destiny or smth Super cool concept I just realised they both used the machine Reginald and Allison hah now I see that thx

that’s most likely why she had Claire & Ray with her, because it was what she wanted. and how she was the one that did it, but the others not clicking it or using it, they got sent to the dads universe

I just want to mention the fact that the show has already surpassed the comic book in terms of plot and events. It is very likely that the comic books and show will produce at different paces. Example, Hotel Oblivion the book was published in 2019, which was around the time Netflix put out season 1. But the new sparrow academy book (The 4th book) isn't published yet as of June 2022, and was a major plot point in season 3 of the Netflix show. From this point forward, we either have to wait for a 5th book to receive source material for a 4th season of the show, or the 4th season of the show will then become the source material for the 5th book. It's getting pretty confusing since both have caught up to one another right now.

7:35 Isn't Sloane from a different timeline? It makes sense for her to not be here anymore (at least not in this place with the others) when everything is reset. I wouldn't be surprised if she is just living her normal life in a far away place, having no memories of the academies, Luther, and everything that went down -- because for her, there was never a "Sparrow Academy."

I just realized you must have made this video and edited it in under 1/2 hours which is crazy to me

I have just seen the firs episode, and this person already came up with the season ending's explanation! Wow!

Sloane wasn't a particularly compelling character, so I hope they don't spend all next season fixating on getting her back.

that harelen scene was the best suprise

I love episode 8 so much with all of my life, it was the most heartwarming episode yet, and were talking Umbrella Academy here.

After watching this entire season. I have one question: “why would you do that Alison??!”

Was that lady Reginald Hargreeves was standing with, Abigale Hargreeves, not the same woman who was lying in a bed dying as their home world was collapsing way back in season 1?

Yupp.. The wife back in season 1 her name is Alice Liddel. And the girl who holding hands with Reggie at the top of the building is Abigail Hargreeves, who IMO, is love interest (his alien version) or maybe his biological daughter.

I got the distinct sense that the mid-credits scene was showing not the Sparrow Ben in a new suit, but a resurrected Umbrella Ben, brought back to life the same way Luther was.

This show always leaves me with more questions than answers

Please bring back Sloane, Netflix. Her relationship with Luther is the only healthy one in this season.

I keep thinking of Jayme’s power where she can make people hallucinate things and thinking this whole episode is something like that, it’s probably not but imagine 😭

Why would Allison presume that her daughter would have been around even before the Paradox was created? If it was initially presumed they'd have doppelgangers wouldn't it have been extremely unlikely for them to have lived their lives as they had prior to season 1? Or was Alison just not clued in? As for 5 can it be presumed that there was a split where after he lost his arm the older one he met didn't stand on the bell while the 5 we do follow in the show did stand on the bell?

I'm not sure if I like this season honestly. Still on the fence. It was just a bit all over the place, confusing and feeling quite rushed. Alison was a complete pain and quite frankly there was not enough of Klaus' crazy compared to the other seasons. The sparrows also felt a bit like a waste, there could of been a lot of potential there but they just got killed off early 😐

All the musical moment is masterpiece it's like the cast just vibing which each other

God I thought Reginald seemed like a decent father at first but then Luther and Klaus’s betrayal

I feel like their powers and bodies separated when they fixed the oblivion, the powers impregnated the women and gave birth to the seven. Now they need to intercept the powers in the new season?

Honestly really hated how Allison acted this season

Some things i want to talk that im stuck thinking about if anyone wants to look at : one, i think the end credits scene is showing the umbrella version of ben and not the sparrow version because he seems to have a different demeaner and makes more sense as a reveal. two, something else to think about is future 5, if he supposedly does end up old and dying in that state then how come his arm is cut off when his arm seems to of healed in the ending? it could mean multiple things like maybe the world they ended up in may not be real, or maybe the future 5 we see present 5 meet wasnt actually really a future version of him, or maybe 5 simply has his arm cut off again. three, why was abigail hargreeves body on the moon? i dont think she died there and during the season reginald hargreeves said that luther was on the moon to protect or guard something which i think implies abigail. this could mean that something needs abigails body or maybe her body was needed to be safe for his 'reset' in the ending to bring her back. four, something else to note about my last subject is that the alternate timeline reginald hargreeves knew about why luther was sent to the moon. how did he know? what else does he know about the umbrella timeline? if you have anything to add or im wrong about anything feel free to reply about anything c:

Five and Klaus are carrying this show so hard

I felt like there couldve been more of the Sparrow Academy and Sparrow Ben. They killed off most of the Sparrows fast and I wanted to see more of Ben. Also, I noticed how on the moon Luther was half monkey, but he became half monkey after the moon because of the crash in S1, right? And what happened to the blind woman with the birds? She just stopped showing up, did I miss something?

I thought this season was like some sort of set-up for the next generation.. with all these children and Lila being pregnant, but now I'm just confused. This season felt like one of Klaus' fever dreams - I loved it, but didn't quite understand the plot. It was very chaotic.

My question has to do with the Jennifer incident. Clearly she was part of the reason Ben died, but in sparrow Bens room he had drawing after drawing of her. So I want to know what happened and was she friend or foe? Also, Sloan might not be there cause Allison is petty and didn’t like Luther replacing her

Abigail was shown dying back in season one on a previous planet of Reginald. It was her violin that was given to Viktor later. Unsure why she was on the moon specifically though
