I just ordered mine from WM, had a kit price of only 799, included risers, rotary, air assist.... Yours as well as other YT reviews made the choice easy peasy to buy this unit. Question please - Is the air assist powered with a vibrating diaphragm like an aquarium pump, or other? How loud? From what I can see the air exits out from around the lens and having this type of air delivery is best. It gripes me to see others review this and other laser cutters WITHOUT using a honeycomb mat. Can't really see the true capabilities of ANY laser without using the mat. The mat you use provided good results, but, a true honeycomb mat should provide much better airflow underneath. Let me know where to send button batteries as your digital caliper was useless in measuring the thickness of the wood you were cutting 🙂 All in all a great video and March 22 cannot arrive soon enough....

Hello James, I watched your video on the Ortur machine. Out of the two machines, which of the two would you say is the better machine?

How doers their Alpha differ from the Delta lasers? They both seem to have similar features. Also, is it possible to purchase one with a larger working area, or extend the working area of the laser?

Hey James, how would you say this compares to the falcon2 in overall performance? I'm was planning to buy to buy a falcon2 this weekend but after seeing this video and your added new tests it's hard to tell which would perform best.

They both work great and function very much the same. I haven't had any problems. Both companies have good reputations (AlgoLaser is 'new' but it was founded by the same person who founded Ortur, another successful brand). I have one more video of each coming soon that might help you decide.

When engraving stainless steel can u feel the the depth of engraving with ur hand or it has no feel, just marked? thanks!

So this looks identical to the Orturo V3. How do the 2 compare? Looks like the price difference is a few hundred dollars.

Never heard of an Orturo V3. Can't even find it on Google. Maybe you mean Ortur? The founder of AlgoLaser is the founder of Ortur. But Ortur has no 'V3', and the only thing that remotely resembles this is their LM H10. Both are priced at exactly $799 on the official Ortur and AlgoLaser sites.

Question please. What is the maximum marking speed on anodized aluminum that you were able to get good results without squiggles in the text, (Ariel),? I've had to limit my speed to 500 mm / min on my Alpha to get good text without squiggles. Any attempt to use 6000 or even 3000 mm / min produced these d squiggles. Thanks for your testing and reply....

Never had any issues like that even at the max rated 30,000mm/min on any material. Check your wheels and belts to see if they need tightened. That's all I can think of.
