About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

Hi guys, just found your video…..looking forward to watching them all…..lucky me and my wife are heading to Tassie in late November December…a very long 28 hour flight…..so worth it, in 2019, we took a quick fly drive day trip out from Melbourne….drove down to Port Arthur…in the summer….and yep it was 6C, howling Gale, raining like a monsoon….we just loved it all, wild and so beautiful…we vowed to return, and so we are, just a short trip as we have other trips to do in Victoria…we are doing trips around the south, lots of wild trips, so excited, I love Tassie, love Australia….so, hotels now booked, flights next….cheers guys, thanks for sharing.
As a Tasmanian, let me just say, we love it when visitors love our little island. It's such a pleasure to share it.

Watching you two is like a youth elixir and happy gas rolled into one. After surgery late last year and in recovery now it's been fantastic to be watch you travel around Tasmania. I get to sit back and watch the pure joy you both radiate when you see the simplest pleasures in life, in snow or a small marsupial I can't help but smile and laugh along with you. Keep up the fantastic work and thanks for the travel therapy

Great to see your trip. You will find the hiking is helped by using walking poles . They take at least 1/3 of the weight of your knees. We cannot hike without them . Great to see some young West Aussies enjoying nature. You have given us some great ideas for our trip to Tassie in November. Thank you.

Hi guys, we have been watching you guys for some time now. This one is your best yet! Absolutely stunning! We love that you love the out of the way places, the hiking, the flora and fauna. We even like your dog (we have a standard poodle). We had a pop-top Troopy and just last week sold him ... I'm still sad. Nothing grabs your heart like a Troopy. Troopy had over 400,000 km on the clock and because we are planning the ENTIRE Big Lap in one go, we had to upgrade. We are quite a bit older than you guys, but young at heart empty nesters. We are now going through ALL of your videos again, this time taking notes. You are a true inspiration and just nice people. Keep up the travels guys. Question: how long all up did you spend in Tassie?

It’s funny people baulk at the cost of getting to our wonderful state on the ferry with their cars or campers. But if you were to factor in hire charges and motel costs etc. it’s actually an economical way of seeing Tasmania. But yes you can’t see the state in one week as some people think, it’s the Tasmanian kilometre that’s twice as long as the mainland one the gets people 😂😂😂😂
Did you see a lot of roadkill? I saw hundreds of dead animals on my one week road trip. One one 3 hour journey from Lake St Clair to Hobart, I saw 94 dead animals, including wombats, a Tasmanian devil and endless wallabies. It was devastating for me. 😭
Beautiful Tasmanian, and it's wildlife, my favourite is the wombat. They can run up to 40km/p/,hr & are the largest burrowing marsupial in the world.
