A video for good/cozy/useful hideout locations would be cool

Truck cemetery, just kill the bandits and you get free vice + 400 kg stash also added benefit of Rostok and AW nearby good for early/midgame and even late if you like running around

I planning to take a room on Clear Sky base, there is few free rooms in biggest building, and traders with gunsmith also here.

@@triplex3459personally I would suggest building it closer to the center and the bar/yanov station as they too have traders there + locations are closer. For example I settled in the dead city and I have access to merc gear every now and then from killing them from my balcony. But maybe I’m wrong and you have a good reason for settling in the southern swamps
One of the best hideout locations is in Rostok, by the technician--he's in a large interior space with two outer rooms, but you can build in the central hall his little office is in as well. He's good for buying components and repair kits, and there's a lot of duty soldiers in Rostok for missions, the bar, and two key mission givers. Great place.

You can jump behind the guard in the bar in Rostok and there's a neat little room back there. That's where I just settled
that first tune playing in the back ground is pretty cozy. I'd pitch a tent inside of an apartment for my base.
Thank you for all of the tips and guidance Bellagio! Being able to sleep outside and build a hideout where ever you please is a game changer for sure. I FINALLY managed to get 4 more basic tool kits and was able to craft a Advanced tool kit, a Medium Armor repair kit AND an Army Rifle Repair kit. What a level up being able to use and repair medium armor, repair kits and Army Rifles was! Definitely don't feel as fragile anymore. Pretty sure G.A.M.M.A is one of the best single player games I've ever experienced.
it would be awesome to have gun wall racks to put the guns you dont use as decoration
Yea unfortunately I dont find much use of the hideout system other then a neat little detail. I wonder if they could balance it in a way to make it more beneficial

ahahaahah, uh, workbench, thats all i am going to say, it makes a massive difference, sure, you can almost immediately shoot the bandit/whatever mechanic in the face and have free access to a vice, but, with this, you can set up a base directly on say, Sakharovs left testicle. drop a baggy near it, and bingo, you will not get hyper irradiated from all those artifactum

I'd like to see progression tips or crafting recipes you find usefull in a given stage of the game.
Great guide Based! I originally didn't have much interest in this, but now that you have gone DEEP, I think I may have to give it a try!
My favourite location while I’ve been playing as a merc is this whole ass empty house in Dead City off in the distance near the Yantar level transition.
It would be so awesome to see more hideout building stuff. Really love to have a safe haven in this world
Great tips again man. These are giving me some direction in the game whilst I'm very new 👍
1. Tools can be given to mechanics, they will let you use they workbench for free and expand they goods for sale and theyr workbenches will be pernamently upgraded for those tools. 2. Dont brake everythinq immediatly, do it when you know you will dont need it 5 sec later for something different. 3. Back packs are nice to be used for stashes in a wild, they are marked on the map. For base use boxes, metal ones cost 5k-6k or some scrap metal and have 400 weight.
Great stuff! Subscribed and definitely will keep up with you content 👌

Welcome!
I wish gun parts listed in details what guns they fit. That would save me so much time.
Great video, very informative. Fast travel is for wimps!!
wish the recipes had a "read" tag like in Escape from Pripyat
What's annoying is some recipes seem to be in multiple skill books and also skill books you already know the recipes from will still show up in the shop.
You can also buy storage crates from certain traders instead of using backpacks. I was able to buy one in rostok from duty for only about 5k. Lots more storage than backpacks
I like this guys information, but when he talks about the best places to put bases, "places off the beaten path, inside an abandoned interior". There are really 3 valid base building areas during your progression: Inside Rostok around the 100 Rads Bar for early game (make sure its close to the fast travel guy). Second, and this is where placing it near the fast travel guy comes important, Jupiter/Yanov station theres a nice room in the basement where the mutant hunts NPC is located. Jupiter station is a great place because theres every kind of vendor + fast travel, and its closer to the endgame areas. Finally, your next endgame base location is at Zaton inside the Skadovsk. This 3rd place is even closer to the endgame areas for you to run missions from, and also has lots of traders, HOWEVER - staying at Jupiter station isnt a bad idea either! There may be other possible locations, but the most important is the traders, number of quest NPC's, its proximity in relation to your current progression (Rostok will be king for early game), and its proximity to a fast travel NPC for when its time to move.
You should write a symphony with the in game keyboard, that would be pretty cool.
can you get one of those "Tool Rules" signs for your workbench? Don't borrow them Don't move them Don't touch them Don't even look at them
I usually build next to a merchant, mostly tech, to limit back and forth.
Hello, thanks for a guide! What is the music in the background?

i think the thing i still have issue getting is the tier 3 crafting tools, the first time i got them i was already at end game almost at cnpp, it was painful

Best way to get things like that is to craft them yourself. Buying them can be super pricey.
@Mr_wisk

@@jamesjoiner1359 you only use money for repair, food, meds and ammo not really that important to hoard a bunch of money when you cant buy armor or guns with it
This looks cool and all, but why does nobody say what game this is a mod for? How am I supposed to know how to play it, if I don't know what to buy?

Free game ( standalone mod) called STALKER ANOMALY , download on moddb for PC. GAMMA is a modpack for ANOMALY
Liked the video man!
gaming hoarders rise up!
Cheers for the rundown! Hearing about base building makes me wanna look into this even more after I dislodge myself from Fallout 4: Horizon mod, which is focused around making base building in that game central to survival. Look into it some day.
Hey to all. Can someone answer me why Artefacts i find in a dead (most Mercs) with 100% degrade to 10% when i pick them up? IT SUCKS ....

In the pause menu under mod options you can raise the chance of getting fixed artifacts but in gamma your supposed to use them to make better artifacts in the fusion artifacts kit.
@dannydanny2789
Жыл бұрын
Yeah, they just glitch out to appear as they are in good condition when you loot them from corpses, sometimes you can loot artifacts in a relatively good condition, mostly from sin stalkers as they drop a lot more artifacts than any other faction
theres no explanation on how to build the workbench?

ah guideline without guides

Thank you for the feedback
Having seen the new skill book requirements upon the most recent version, I was like, _”Yeah…..nope…..I’m F7ing this bitch”._ I hate to use the debug menu, but that shit is just unnecessarily tedious. It’s hard enough to break down, accrue, and repair all the needed materials (and having to buy all the relevant kits); but having to find and buy books to learn how to craft is just absurd and should be off by default. Am I going to have to collect specific bolts for each gun in the next update? There is a balance in gaming between enjoyable gameplay and needless busywork to even get to the point you can start utilizing game systems and mechanics. I generally enjoy GAMMA’s economy and crafting, but Grok is pushing it.
The word is ET cetera, not ECK cetera.
Ultimate guide? Yeah sure... You didn't even show HOW you craft anything.
I know you have your audience but your little meme animations and SFX really aren't necessary, if anything they turned me away from this vid. cool guide though.
