Very well guidance. We 4 sr.citizens plan a trip from Chandigarh to Shimla, Kinnaur, Spiti and back via Manali in September 2nd week, 2023. Do we need any warm accessories for it ? Any idea about taxi cost for arround 12 days?

Yes sir, you do need all your warm layers . Spiti is a cold desert , and the temperature will be around 10 during days and subzero during night time . So u do need your warm clothing . For taxi cost it’s better to call any travel agent based in Chandigarh , however when you take a proper package it costs anything around 25k per person . Hope this helps. 🙏

Do spend a night at kaza for acclimatisation , do not visit chicham straight/directly

And do carry an oxygen can for emergency, available at medical shops . It’s better to carry one and also hydrate as much as you can
I am planning for spiti tour in a package tour. Any advice on package tour Is roads are safe , to travel there

Sir, roads are quite tricky during monsoons. There are patches in Kinnaur specifically that are prone to landslide during monsoon. In short, u will Be responsible for urself if u go during peak monsoon

@@rishabhpatwal2898 hello Rishab , it is not advisable to travel towards Kinnaur side during monsoon .. u might face landslides . If it’s showing rain during those dates u should postpone your plan
