Let's not forget to make duas for the people of Palestine, Sudan, the Congo and so on, this Ramadan. Dua is the weapon of the believers. So make this Ramadan a time of active war, where we use our tongues and our hearts to fight for the martyrs. This Ramadan, like all Ramadan is very important! May Allah liberate us all!

Learning who Allah swt is through His names changed my life. I too grew up with a harsh image of Allah but learning who He is through the names He choose to describe himself with created a huge change in my mind, alhamdulilah! May Allah swt allow us to reach Ramadan and make us amongst those who push ourselves, Ameen!

Many non-Islamic Pagan rituals are now known as Islamic rituals. Pagan’s crescent moon: the symbol of the moon god, circumambulation, Ihram etc. were taken or stolen by Islam. Muslims now begin their Ramadan fasting after seeing a crescent moon in the sky. Ramadan is a kind of a month-long food festival for Muslims. It is supposed to be a month of sacrifice and Muslims are expected to eat less. But in reality, Muslims eat more in Ramadan than any other month. Some people call Ramadan the holy month of feasting, instead of the holy month of fasting. They make sense. There are some unscientific, nonsense verses in the Quran about Ramadan. Quran.Sura 2:187: “Eat and drink until the white thread of dawn appears to you and then complete your fast till the night appears.” Quran.Sura 18:83-86:“Zulkharnain reached the setting place of the sun. He saw that it set in a pool of black muddy water.” Quran.Sura 67:3-5; 37:6-9: “We created 7 heavens one above the other and decorated the lowest heaven with lamps - The Stars. We made such lamps as missiles to drive away Satan, who try to listen to the conversation of the higher group - i.e., Conversation between Allah and his angels.” There are many Hadith on Ramadan too. The most interesting ones are the ones about Muhammad kissing his wives and the way he permitted old men to embrace their young wives but prevented young men from embracing their young wives. Needless to say, Muhammad was old. Hadith. Bukhari, Vol.3:149: Narrated Aisha, ‘Muhammad used to kiss and embrace his wives while he was fasting and he had more power to control his desires than any of you.’ Hadith.Bukhari, Vol.3:151: Narrated Zainab: (daughter of Umme Salma) that her mother said, The prophet and I used to take a bath from one water pot and he used to kiss me while he was fasting.” Hadith. Book 13, No.2381: Narrated Abu Hurayrah: A man asked Muhammad whether one who was fasting could embrace his wife and he gave him permission; but when another man came to him and asked him, he forbade him. The one to whom he gave permission was an old man and the one whom he forbade was a youth. Hadith. Book 13, No. 2380: Narrated Aisha: Prophet Muhammad used to kiss and suck her tongue, while he was fasting.

I’m a Christian..but growing up it was also taught from a fear perspective. “If you do this you’ll go to hell” “if you do that you’ll be in sin” when God is just so loving , so merciful, so gracious. If you call him Allah, God, he’s still so good. I am participating in Ramadan this year. I’ll be reading my Quran as well as my bible.

I was raised as a JW, later became interested in esoteric knowledge and the occult. I've learned my own innerstanding of spirituality. As a Sovereign § Spiritualist I don't subscribe to any organized religion, however the study of religions without the ego and bias involved allows for increased learning. I'll be observing Ramadan this year as well, and not from the perspective of "I must do this or I will disappoint Allah". God is within us all, we are made in his image A L L A H arm leg leg arm head, Godbody. I set my intentions and be my authentic self while still observing a religious practice and connect with the divine, source, Allah.

That will make it easier on your head to transition into fatburning during fasting. Also watch some videos on keto and intermittent fasting for tips on how to avoid these migraines. Hope this will help you. Ramadam kareem.

hey hope you're doing well, i am 17 and i grew up in a religious family, so you know i have the "basics" i used to pray and i fast(?) every ramadan. The problem is that i don't have that deep connection with god, the only thing i have is fear. i stopped praying honestly because i didn't understand the need (and i am ashamed of this please forgive me). My parents remind me a lot of doing them, but i don't know how to do it and they get mad when i don't remember stuff saying that i dont make any effort and that if i really wanted to i could. I really want to have a healthy connection with god you know, being able to rely on religion and have a reason to stay alive but I don't how. Ramadan for me is one of the best moment of the year because i do all my prayers every day, and it honestly makes me feel so good but i struggle keeping that habit and those feelings after ramadan. do any of you have tips for those who want to be more serious in religion and truly have a good connection with god ? also english is not my first language so feel free to correct me if there is any grammar mistakes.

Like she said in the video, even if you don't feel a connection while praying, do it. Just do it even if you feel terrible after finishing prayer. A bad prayer is better than none at all. It's the shaytan that makes you think your prayers are bad just to stop you from praying. Make duaa for Allah to love you and make you love his religion. Say "Allahumma a’inni ala dhikrika, wa shukrika, wa husni ‘ibadatika" اللهم أعني على ذكرك و شكرك و حسن عبادتك trust me, it's a game changer. Read the Quraan every night, even if it's only a few lines and increase gradually, focusing on the meanings of Ayas more than how much you read. Something that really changed my relationship with Allah and the Quraan is understanding ayas my own way. I'm not saying come up with new tafseer, but I would read an aya slowly, think "How does this resonate with me?" There is always a hidden message for you in almost every single aya. I prefer this to reading tafseer. I limit tafseer only to ayas that I don't understand. The Quraan is a message from Allah to every single one of us, literally letters from Allah to you, and while you read it, Allah is watching you. So read the Quraan like it's a conversation with Allah, answer Him, tell him what yoh think, cry, smile, laugh, and in some moments you will feel his presence so much like He's sending back an answer to you. Whenever you have something to say, any time of the day, whether it's duaa, your feelings, or literally just something that happened that you want to share, say it to Allah. He obviously knows everything but it reminds you that Allah is always here. Allah is always with you so make Him your friend. Once you feel such a connection with Allah, his everpresence, worship will come from a place of love rather than fear. But until then, keep forcing good deeds on yourself, especially prayer, until they start feeling natural again. 🩷

It will come with time. Shaytan wants to disturb you. If you don’t feel the connection, keep praying. I struggled with this problem, thinking that there was a problem when my prayer didn’t feel connected. When accepting that the connection can not always be felt, the connection cale naturally while accepting the less connected moments. Islam is the most beautiful thing.Avoid having a fear relationship, try reading the hadiths of اَللّه love for his servants. اَللَه wants to forgive you. Being born in a muslim family is a sign of love. The need of coming back to Islam is a call from اَللّه

Same to me for this Ramadhan🌙. A little bit pressure for never finished to read the whole quran, but keep feeling empty cause finally realized that I just read without really know the tafsir. For now I want to do more activities for the sake of gaining quality above quantity. 🥰🥰

Please also refrain from sharing your food, etc. -- the people of Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Sudan are struggling at the moment. Please keep them in your prayers--a sister below said our prayers/Dua are our weapons. Joyous Ramadan and pray for the resistance! Liberation to all!

Asalaam alaikum Sister, wonderful! The principles of Islam are submission and Ramadan enables us to practice these principles. In Ramadan we practice fasting, refraining from food and drink from sunrise to sunset. As Muslims we should refrain from backbiting, and in Ramadan the concept of fasting (refraining from eating and drinking) also flows in to refraining from backbiting, swearing, bad behaviour, listening to music, eating excessively. We focus on prayer compulsory and voluntary, dikhr, reading the holy Quran and good deeds that are pleasing to Allah SWT. We also push ourselves in helping others, feeding people, helping where we can, giving to charity etc. Physical intimacy is prohibited between husband and wife whilst fasting too. The month of Ramadan is spent in quiet contemplation and prayer, with muslims seeking obedience to Allah SWT. I hope this helps you in some way and Almighty Allah SWT guides you to Islam and my reply has made things a little clearer for you.
