The elite 2.0 is fantastic. Just like a life vest, if it isnt comfortable, you wont wear it. The 2.0 has the best shoulder pads I've ever worn on a plate carrier.

Bought it in 2011 and used it in Afghanistan in 2012 and loved it! Still have it after all these years and one of the best tactical purchases I ever made. Also look into the Ares Armor assault packs as well. Got that the same time and now I still it for civilian use. The quick disconnects are awesome for vehicle and air assault missions. Don’t have to worry about straps when using the quick disconnects setup and works great with the Banshee rig. You can use it with, or without straps. I know this reply is to a post that is 2+ years old, but for someone who might be researching for their next rig, I hope it’s helpful.

Another great carrier from shellback is the SF carrier.

I just want a banshee 2.0 because it looks so badass on Alex in the cod mw2019 campaign

From my actual experience on the fighter, carry 10 Kalashnikov stores with 4 pistol stores with 6 hand grenades 2 defensive and 2 offensive with a Kalashnikov smoke grenade. You don't need many accessories. Just a daytime shooting lens, but the problem is in the weight of the Kalashnikov gear launches.

I will warn those who want to use the Banshee 2.0 for it's built in hydration pocket...good luck. I have to mess with Mil-Spec Camelbak Antidote (1.5 L) quite a bit before I can get it in without squeezing it so much that it leaks. I have no idea how they managed to shove in a 2 L.

My nearly 17 yo runs a multicam Banshee 2.0. Glad to see you guys like it so well. I just picked up the 5.7lb ceramic plate for the front and the 4s17 side plates for him. How do you like it when running plates? Hope to get to your op at Panthera facility in WVA in Oct.

My lvl 3+ 10x12 plates arrived today, and have been mounted...they fit beautifully, in the Banshee. I ended up going with Esstac tall KYWI triple shingle, for my mags.....just need an IFAK, and I'm all set.

I have the banshee tactical 3.0 and I absolutely love the thing!

That banshee looks awesome! Would happen to know if they have attachments spefically made for a grenader setup?

I know this plate carrier has loops for attaching clips for rigs. But does the Molle panel in the front actually come off to allow a rig to fit nice and tight?

I got my first plate carrier about 2 months ago which was the Banshee Elite 3.0, the newest model. Man is it badass, absolutely love it. Also have level 4 plates and trauma pads.

Excuse my ignorance, friend. I'm looking at some sites that sell these, and I'm confused. So, only law enforcement can buy these carriers with plates included, and civilians can only buy the carrier itself without the plates? Thanks in advance.

Hard4Jesus I’m not sure? When on the site they did not have the package that included plates. So I ended up buying just the vest, plates and trauma pads from a different company. Since it was cheaper that way and I was able to get level 4 plates. But as far as LE only I don’t think that is true.

Does the banshee 2.0 come with a more flatter kangaroo pouch for just slip mag pouches

Noticed in all the installations, there are not enough stores, in fact, you need at least 10 stores with a skipping firearm, such as the qkm weapon or the T4T weapon, to ensure the momentum of the fire and advance on the target to shake at least the place of its fortification.

Is the webbing on the right shoulder of the Banshee 2.0 slowly being destroyed from trying to shoulder the rifle? I just ordered the 2.0 Elite and shouldering my rifle is my only concern.

I have a question about that Banshee 2.0 set up. With running the radio in the cumberbund mag pouch how does that affect donning and doffing? Obviously in this video his antenna doesn’t run through his pc but I read in another comment he has switched to a CAATail antenna that weaves through the MOLLE webbing. Does he still run the radio in the cumberbund?

The 3.0 looks nice but at $400 plus another $400+ for plates it’s beyond my budget. They have the active shooter kit for $545 but it’s been out of stock for a while.

You’re about my size and the patriot fits a little big so the banshee will probably be the one for you.

Hey brother I just bought the 2.0 what mag pouch pockets are you using? I thought a just swapping mine off my old one but I like the hard tacos..I just wasted 299 from Sword and shield..my side plates won't even fit..I call and the number was disconnected..lesson learned..I have a first spear plate carrier as well.. But I also run and soft armor abd its slick i can ware a hoodie over it

If you ever get a chance check G Code I use a battel belt system and rig I got for work..I keep in my Truck now as an active shooter kit..I just ordered a set you suggested cant go wrong under 50 bucks saves 110 bucks

In this video, the setup is - Baofeng UV-82 HP - Peltor Comtac III's - Peltor amplified PTT (Essential for proper input and output with the mil-spec comms) - Whip antenna Since the video, the whip antenna has been replaced by a CAATail antenna, which threads directly into the molle and is much more comfortable/low profile. Just make sure you get the proper connector for the radio you use. Also - don't skimp on the PTT. At the very least you need an amplified PTT, our knowledge base and further research identified that the wiring used in the peltors doesn't mesh nicely with the cheap PTT... with the real steel PTT, it is now crystal clear. Hope the above helps!

I have 10x12 shooter cut plates in my Banshee, and they fit just fine, with a just little wiggle room....yours should fit, no problem.

What plates are you running?

Moises Lopez hey brother - Normally, there are shellback level IV plates in the banshee 2. But in this video Doc has some foamies just for training purposes.

The banshee 2.0 seems bulkier than the original one. Is it?

It is in the shoulders to a small degree. But you can remove the padding and it's not really that much different than the original. I personally run the original as a slimline home defense rig and the 2.0 in the lockbox in my vehicle. Mainly if it's a scenario I may need to wear it to get home it's more padding for trekking distance.

DesertMarine that’s on us. We totally should have gone over it. The banshee cummerbund does look to be able to accept side plates. There is a Velcro sealed opening at the rear of the cummerbund ( by the back plate) the opens into the cummerbund itself. We would for sure inquire with Shellback directly, to be safe.

It will accept soft armor plates. This is from the Shellback website; “Interior pockets fit soft armor panels that are sized at 13.75 inches long by 5.5 inches tall”. If you want to add Level 4 hard armor plates Shellback offers a carrier that attaches with MOLLE to the inside of the cumberbund and you can buy it as a combo package with 6x6 plates for $250. Of course everything is out of stock right now! I’m personally trying to decide between ordering a Rampage active shooter kit or waiting for the Banshee 2.0 to be available again..

You have to buy the front flap and cumberbund in order for the crye spc to be complete. Thats another $110 on top of it

It does. Instead of actual side plate pouches to individually install, the plates are inserted into the cummerbund which has their own pouches
