Love this! I am a very shy solo player (that means I don’t group at all) and I’ve had more fun playing a Templar in ESO than any other game yet! It’s so much fun to be able to handle the crowds/big bosses/ and heal myself if need be. I soloed some group dungeons to completion so thanks for the great info!

Too long didnt read: Easy to follow yet In depth guide on how to make the best out of a one bar build. Lots of great stuff here and definitely the ultimate guide, switable for all skill levels. Thanks for the hard work 💪. Cant wait for the other builds!

Deltia: “If you’re a good player you won’t be watching this video…” BS. I’m a good player, 96k (mostly thanks to your videos), all trial gear. I love your videos and always come to you for information on new builds, gear and mythics. Don’t sell yourself short!

Deltia comes through once again. Took my Magplar to the next level. Just solo'd my first Dungeon on Vet mode! Banished Cells. I think the fact that I did what you said, raised my health to 24K, is what did it. Something weird happened, while fighting Rilis the final boss, I was killed and the split second I revived I was dead again, happened twice more then I couldn't revive at all, had to log out.

Love these!

Nice tip about light attack weaving with your foot animation. It could be helpful for new players.

Thanks for the amazing guide and simple explanation. Minor correction though Iceheart comes from Direfrost Keep not Frostvault. I am really enjoying Oajensoul when I want to chill but still enjoy two bar and am happy they still pull ahead.

for mag templars, order's wrath + war maiden is also very nice. Since most (if not all, depending what active spells u use) abilities are magic damage, it gives you a 600 spell damage boost to those abilities. It works quite well for me :)

@@spideysense1847 I use: Puncturing Sweep, Purifying Light, Ritual of Retribution, Radiant Oppression and Barbed Trap. I did a comparissson between War Maiden and Deadly Strike sets on a trial dummy, and dished out about 4-5 K dps more with War Maiden than with Deadly Strike set. Since only Barbed Trap is not a magical damage output but all the other skills are, imho, it's better to use War Maiden cuz of the +600 spell damage for magical abilities. Deadly Strike in this one bar set up only really benefits Puncturing Sweep , Ritual of Retribution and Radiant Oppression, but not Purifying Light, and War Maiden does. Besides that, the 15 % extra damage of Deadly Strike is very comparable with the +600 spelldamage anyway (which is about 10 % roughly), but since 1 additionaol skill (and a strong one at that) benefits from the +600 spelldamage, I reckon that is why I do more damage on a target dummy with the War Maiden set

Main hand nirn or precise, off charged, poison and flame. Should be in guide.

This game has gotten easy enough you can pretty much 1 bar most if not all content. I have been recommending ESO for a starter MMO to people wanting to get into games like this. My 9year picked the game up and has been running raids and is soloing vet dungeons

New player to ESO, thanks for the great video! At what CP does this build really begin to shine as a solo player? Also, I truly hate bar swapping, but feel as a new and mostly solo player that I am seriously gimping myself by not buckling down and making myself use 2 bars....thoughts?

Extremely helpfull, thanks much. when I'm on a test dummy, the best I've been able to get is around 30k. Is this about right? I'm also running out of magicka pretty fast (may need to change foods and add potions). Thanks for your input.

I use the blue drink that gives only magicka and mag rcovery but alot of it. Forgot the name atm but you'll know it when see it. Might help

you can replace ele drain with razor caltrops for breach and get extra damage

Would deadly strike increase the damage that occurs from the fifth piece of sets like pillar of nirn or gryphons reprisal?

Hey delt, set this up with ice heart and kicked major butt. Just got oakensoul and got a 12.5% damage increase right out of the gate. It seems the ring is perfect for magplars. I hear your on Xbox na now. The best place to be. Cheers for the guides and all you do for the eso community.

I last played ESO pre-Morrowind release. Loving the look of Templar single bar should I resub. Your website states that sweeps/jabs are no longer used (yet Templar single bar is still S tier). Interested in seeing a video on the latest state of templar single bar come Necrom. I'd like to play a decently competitive class so I can find groups to play with, but ultimately a fun playstyle is the most important to me. What does the loss of sweeps/jabs do to the gameplay loop (is it still as engaging/fun)?

Wouldnt lightning Stave be better for templar since it boosts AOE damage and jabs, which Templar gets a huge chunk of their damage from, is AOE? Also, I see the push for Whorl of the Depths but that appears to be boss only for the 5 piece as nothing else is going to last that long. Wouldnt it be better to wear a set that can help with all mobs?

I have the exact same build minus gold jewelry, deadly pants instead of chest piece I don’t have it yet. And I’m only cp 825 but I followed the build down to perfection. On a good parse I can hit 40k but on average I only hit for 36k. What am I doing wrong ? Would love a break down or is it my cp is too low ? I’m also weaving, re applying dots and following the rotations.

Are you using group or solo setup? On group you should be 70+. Make sure to change morph of radiant to the other one for more damage.

Can I get an explanation on whorl of depths? I don't know if I am missing something, but the set on paper looks sub-par to me. I've seen a lot of people say it is good, but not exactly how/why.

@@codineplus I have not tried this build but I doubt it needs the regen. Plus it is always good to pull from both resource pools with the new hybridization.

What max parse dps can this build make?

I got a 46,943 dps solo parse using deadly/order/oaken/slimecraw. I dig it.

If you loaded up your bar with all damage and parsed perfectly with bis gear, probably 100k.

Would the apprentice mundus be much worse than shadow mundus? (So I don't have to change mundus from pvp to pve)

I'm a little confused, i found this video from your ESO One bar PvE Magicka Templar guide on your website, but this video doesn't relate in any way shape or form to that guide, the skills are different the gear is different, everything is different, what's going on?

Templars get a unique 10 percent crit damage buff whenever they have an aedric spear ability on their ability bar. It stacks with minor force. So it’s not a waste.

That's much less damage and medusa will do better. Soulshine is more a PvP setup.

Hopefully patch 35 doesn't totally kill this build. I worked hard getting all the pieces together. So it's a nerf to the sweeps damage and healing But burning light will be able to be proced by anything now oh yeah but every 2 seconds. ;( not sure what to think. Deltia , help!!!

I thought the 18.2k enemy resistance was in veteran content? And everything else was 9.1k?

@@Deltiasgaming just checked on Alcasts website, and I was mistaken. Dungeons/Arenas/trials are always 18.2k, regardless of difficulty. It's overland content that's 9.1k

Why is every guide suggesting using radiant glory (opression) on enemies at 30% or lower health, if the tooltip for the skill says it does 500% more damage at enemies 50% or less health?

Because the damage is very low at 30%

You don't get the full 500% at 50% health. So you are actually doing more damage with following your rotation. Between 25% and 20% it really pays off to use it compared to your spammable. On trash you can start beaming a bit earlier. And I think the tool tip says UP TO 500% more damage.

Ok you did that in 22 mins with no deaths, How is that score not at least 280k? I did vVH in 36mins and got a 280k score and Spirit Slayer? Something isn’t right.

Zos nerfed two Templar’s ability. Living dark and purifying light. Purifying light got a slight cost increase while living dark only heals for a based amount of 2000 health instead of healing based on the amount of your spell/weapon damage. Templars are still op in pve. They don’t rely on those two abilities. In pvp however, it’s a nerfed since living dark was part of their survival kit.
