I really like the build. I'm planning on doing a pop top somewhat like that for my GM Suburban. Nothing like being able to stand straight up.

Very Nice. I converted my own that was sadly written off nice to see the pop top there that wasn’t on mine.

The price sounds absolutely ridiculous, except that a bare Defender in good condition like that would fetch upwards of 35k on its own, and then when you factor in that it's only done 1000 miles and been kept dry, you can probably add an extra 10k to that at least. And all that's without considering the conversion, which is very comprehensive. Will be a lovely Defender camper for someone!

Check out Autotrader. Defender 110 XS’s with less than 30,000 miles are going for over £40k and some are over £50k.

@@brianhoskins1979 I’m torn, I’ve a 2015 110 XS Utility, Santorini Black, Sawtooth wheels, Alcantara Roof liner, Twisted DRL bumper, LED’s all round plus other bits and bobs with 9,400 miles on the clock but I retire next year and fancy a mini camper van so I’m thinking of cashing it in to fund one of those.

Nice build, nobody could belive that overlanding cars could be fashion thing some 30 years ago when I build my car last car , "volvo laplander camper", not many traveled by car like that in late 80 and 90. Good luck!👍

Es precioso tanto por fuera como sobre todo por dentro. Yo tambien tengo un Defender y Dormobile siempre me han gustado mucho sus camperizaciones. Estoy en Barcelona y no se en que pais y ciudad se encuentra la empresa y no creo que en España tengan alguna delegacion. Os agradeceria si lo supierais la informacion. You mention that when the pop top is down you have panoramic roof lights, does the pop top fabric not cover them up?

That’s correct. The fabric is to the other side.

The front portion of the roof lights are slightly covered by the bed boards but further back it’s clear

Should look at the price of Defenders that have been gentrified, makes this look cheap.

And you build it on a shit Defender haha.

New Defenders are crap. The old shape was MILES better.
