i’ve also noticed with the suspended 4 chords if you leave that 4 where it is and then take that top note and raise it up by one if that makes any sense, that could also sound pretty dope, fire video can’t wait for the 2099 melody tutorial 🔥

Dope! I think people are underestimating velocity and off grid keys too much, perfect "playing" doesn't exist and that's something we should consider melodies with keys or piano. Not saying that if you purposely want to you sure can quantize it.

Practice and study. Lots of time just messing around, been making beats for 10 years haha. Always had a midi keyboard and would make myself play it when producing

You can layer 2 sources, but for example let’s say you used pigments as one of the sound source VST’s. Inside pigments you have 2 engines plus a utility engine. So technically more than 2 haha! Depending which VST’s you choose from V collection
