Throughout its career, the band would undergo several lineup changes, experimentations with different styles, and even a brief breakup. But these did not deter the group from continuously making an impact, with Mustaine leading the way for Megadeth to establish themselves as one of the most prolific thrash bands.

Without question, Yes. Rust In Peace is their technical masterpiece that I do not see an equal. It sits on my mountain as all time thrash album because of its technicality. Great video!

I love that Dave comes out victorious with whatever life ( satan) throws at him.. Drugs, injuries, cancer, bad band relationships.... the man rises above it all... I believe his relationship with God has molded him into a much different man.. Love him or hate him, if you disrespect him, you are shortsighted in my opinion.

See, that's part of the problem. If it wasn't for him being kicked out of the band... that band (Metallica) would have probably imploded and neither band would have existed.
I'm glad Dave is still going! He's a legend.

Sometimes I think, out of frustration, that I would accept that they don't induct Megadeth into the Hall of Fame, but at least Dave. He is a key pillar of the entire metal scene since his days with Metallica. Anyway, Megadeth deserves to be in the hall of fame, let's hope Dave lives to see it.

I love Megadeth. Dave Mustaine IS Megadeth. Dave should be in the Hall Of Fame. But as a band that can't hold a steady lineup, Megadeth itself probably should not. Too many lineup changes. Mustaine has been the only original member since the beginning. Maybe it should be called - Dave Mustaines Megadeth.

I got to see Megadeth on the Countdown, Youthanasia and Cryptic Writings tours. All of them were great shows for different reasons. I know the lineups are different now, but I'm glad they're still out there.

I've seen Megadeth countless times throughout their career and they always deliver live. Things are going to happen when you hold everyone in a group to an ultra high standard. This is the story of a man who refused to give up on his dreams. Thanks for all years Dave!

I was in high school with Chuck. Livonia Michigan Stevenson high. Chuck would play the drums at house parties. Chuck was awesome pounding the skins.
I only got to see them as support for Alice Cooper in Providence RI... Savatage were also on that tour. For whatever reasons, Savatage and Megadeth's sound was not mixed well at all.. both bands sounded awful.. I saw Savatage many many times in clubs and they were spot on amazing every time. Something was up in Providence that night..
