The Ultimate LEGO Studio Tour!
Ойын-сауық
Is this the "Ultimate" LEGO studio ever seen? No, probably not by a long shot. But it's definitely MY favorite LEGO studio ever since it has been meticulously planned to be perfect for our style of building and our needs!
I hope you enjoy this brief yet detailed look our our favorite space to be in!

This IS DEFINITELY the ULTIMATE LEGO ROOM!!!
Yes! I love color sorting too. Another great benefit- all the tiny drawers you'd need for detailed sorting are expensive and not space efficient
I would love to have a space that big. You guys did a great job making it cozy and functional. Thanks for taking us on a tour
What an incredible space!! I like how you have the couch area, I feel like something many LEGO rooms do not have. Also, an interesting way to sort your bricks… I don’t think I could ever do that in my collection, but it’s whatever works for you!

Thanks! Color sorting isn’t for everyone. It’s a bi chaotic. 😉
6:02 I spot a "Big Foot 4x4" 😱 Both you two have perfected the LEGO studio. I am stealing that HUSKY desk idea. The parts binning is exceptional and I get the closed display shelves...dust is a problem. Inspired to upgrade my studio here soon, thanks for sharing!

Your guys lego room is top notch! Great tour
Always color sorted the same..my thinking was exactly the same for NPU.!! Sometimes u get the idea 💡 wen all the pieces are infront of u.!! Great tour and building space 👌
Looks great and tidy and love the castle case!
Such a great space! You really do make a good case for sorting by color.... saving more time for building 🤔

Thanks Nate! In theory yes!
Amazing space! Great video.
Great video Mark, This has given me some good ideas for my next LEGO studio
Looks like a fun room to chill in! I'm so jelly.
Love your floors dude! Great vlog!
Amazing video! I absolutely love your Lego Studio it is awesome! I personally sort my Lego by color and size so instead of having a drawer or container for every single Lego part I maybe have 3 are 4 per color.
Super neat but completely functional. You make a great case for colour sorting!
Mark you have an AMAZING Lego room!!!
Great looking build studio. I see why you can build amazing things, when you have a sanctuary like this.. great video Mark..
😍 this is so great to frame one-sheet mini theme catalog !!
I love your sorting system. Im thinking of using that.😊
Absolutely awesome studio, and a great collection of LEGO. The McDonalds Bionicles were such a throwback.
I also color sort!! And for the same reason that it unlocks a whole new level of creativity in seeing bricks that might not be seen when sorting by piece type. Thanks for the tour, glad y’all have a space that works for your creativity and moc building needs!
What an awesome Lego room
Thanks so much for sharing! It's really cool to see your building space after years of following your MOCs! I love your color sorting concept too. I sort by color and then by part, which indeed does take a long time haha

Hey Carson! Good to hear from you! Seeing your name reminds me of our palm tree building past! 😄
Dang, that’s an awesome lego room!
Awesome video. Using Dust pan to collect Lego was a nice touch !!! Being relatively new to Lego world I am starting to build a small Lego space in my home. Your video helps a lot !! Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

Thanks Maniraj! Looking forward to it!
WOW! Your Studio looks really amazing :D
Lego is lifeeeee
I love seeing how people organize their lego pieces! Also love seeing a more “livable” space to sit and enjoy the lego while watching TV or hanging out with the couch. I have that too and find i get to enjoy my collection so much more because I’m in the room so much more often! 🥲🥹
Stunning - I particularly love the skeleton/knight/white Ent playing wood cello ! Interested to know if you have some type of protection from natural light on your windows preventing discolouring of some bricks?
I am looking for shelving to display large sets. I was curious what kind of shelf you used to display the lion knights castle? Love the room especially all of the LED lights!
Awesome studio! Did I miss the Buc-ee's candy lego machine???? 😮

Thanks Scott! No Buc-ee’s candy here! 😜
Personally, your method of color-sorting is lovely. This is how I'd want to do it. I hate having to open individual doors for each exact piece. I want to SEE everything
Looking at your castle build a year ago and really want to know how you built those pines trees with the vine piece.
Awesome table! I don't need one but I may buy one anyway, the height adjustment is perfect for switching back and fourth from standing to sitting. How is the dust with displaying sets in the ikea showcases? I have sets displayed on just a rack and they become full of dust.

Thanks! The dust was a huge issue before but these new cases are superb at preventing it. Definitely worth the hefty price. 👍
I think color sorting is perfect for your style. If one builds big pieces of similar color then finding different forms of the same color fast becomes priority.
Very interesting. Why not sort by color and then by size? More bins, yes but then it’s broken down a bit better. Either way loved the tour and look forward to watching the rest of your videos.
Awesome tour, I agree with you on the case for color sorting! I love that sorting table you have with the raised sides, it makes cleanup a lot faster. Did you buy that somewhere, or did you build it yourself?

Thanks! Steven and I built them ourselves! I’m pretty sure I posted a reel on the process earlier.
Great room. The windows not being covered gives me anxiety. So much of that will go yellow so fast

We originally had heavy curtains over the windows but the building is surrounded by large trees so very little direct sunlight reaches inside. It’s been 8 years and we have had no issues with UV damage so far.
it actually looks like a lego studio now instead of a detached garage lolol lets gooo

Exactly! 😂 Thank man!
The table filled with loose brick just gave me agita 😰 But I can add one of those Husky tables to my LEGO room wishlist 😂 Awesome studio, guys!!

@@markoffalworth it’s definitely beautiful, but I’m a sort out every part by type and color kinda guy 😅😅
Really like your studio. I have gone back and forth with how to store Lego. There is NO easy way. It all takes waaaay too much space.
Where did you get the shelving that stores the bulk brick?
Your studio looks so cozy but I have to ask , is there a bathroom in the building ?
@markoffalworth
Жыл бұрын
No bathroom unfortunately! Just a short walk to the house though. 😉
Just wondering why you don't sort out orange and brown separately?
Amazing - nothing on the floor
Just love the layout of your studio/sanctuary.
What do you do with your giant mocs?

We take lots of pictures, bring them to a few LEGO conventions, then take them apart and make something new!
I've heard you're not supposed to sort by color.
You need a hole in the sorting table.
@markoffalworth
Жыл бұрын
There are a couple reasons why that wouldn’t work for us. The main issue is the ikea tabletop consists of almost 2” of particle board with a hard finished exterior. That would leave a lot of exposed sawdust like material that would deteriorate with bricks brushing past. The hole would have to be pretty big to be faster than a large scoop, this means that the table is not as effective at containing pieces in the first place. Lastly the adjustable hight table legs don’t leave much space underneath for a bin to catch the pieces.
U needs curtains on those windows!
