    I love that you ask "who do you want to be..." instead of "where do you think you'll be...". I'm neurodivergent and trying to picture where I'll be in a year is inconceivable for me. I have no clue where I'll be a day from now, let alone a year! But who I want to be is a more concrete way of visualizing my future. Thanks for that!!🫶

    Watching your videos, I just realized that I've been limiting the potential of my journaling by only using it to organize my to-do's instead of using it as a brain dump or place to put random information. Maybe I should try to be less rigid with rules for once and see what happens. Thank you for being such an authentic and awesome human being 😍😍

    the doodie pun counter roflllllllllllll. another great video. i love seeing all the love in the comments section for random as-needed bujo pages outside of the usual logs. these are some of my favorite compilations because i always love more ideas that make me go "oooh, i could use that." a lot of folks in the self help space are making such great 2023 reflections. it's gonna become my new favorite new years tradition to look forward to. have you seen ryder caroll's 2023 recap? it's so cool and wholesome.

    WOW! Love your style. I know I subscribed to you a while back but you have not been coming up in my feed. So I saw that the "bell" was set to personalized?? I changed it to all so that I wouldn't miss anything. You remind me so much of a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a long time (she moved). Makes me feel good to "see" her again.

    I may be an “older viewer” at 53, but so adore your style and sense of humor and “realness” too. I would love to have you as a personal PT as I manage chronic pain. Will definitely check out your pelvic floor book recom. As a person who has journaled since 12 (and find I need to, to process and manage most things), I appreciate what you have so share. Thanks for being out there. I am sure I will get more than 1% from you sharing! Congrats as well for taking this on as your full-time gig!

    I just want to say thanks so much for your informative and funny content. A friend linked me to you today because I actually have a very similar minimalist style (down to slapping a sticker to augment all the black ink) and often find other BuJo designs incompatible. It's really helping me take my journal to a new level after being stuck for a year with mostly the same spreads/to-do lists. Thank you!

    Thanks! To be honest, it sounds weird, but learn how to learn. I figured this out much later than I wanted to - after I finished PT school and started studying for boards. I benefitted a great deal using Ali Abdaal's content on how to study on SkillShare. Otherwise, having a study buddy to learn with and teach each other concepts was also key. This also helped with accountability and made it more fun. We made shared google docs and built study guides together as well. Take care of your health at all times because it's very easy to put on the back burner. Sleep and exercise were a non negotiable for me to retain anything. Good luck!

Stay on top of your mental health and keep it fun. When you’re first starting out, nobody cares, so just roll with that and focus on learning for yourself ☺️ KZread is a powerful growth tool for developing soooo many different life skills and if you approach it with the right mindset and goals, you’ll never lose 🥳

  • @SimieIriarte

    @SimieIriarte

    6 ай бұрын

    i have heard of this! but i do not (knowingly) treat this. psychosocial stuff is a HUGE factor when working with patients and can literally determine their potential outcomes. a lot of the time, people have to start with forming the belief that they can get better by slowly rewiring the brain and that can be suuuuuuuper challenging. If i ever feel like this is the case, i strongly advise therapy or consulting a psychiatrist alongside PT. Not sure how others approach this but we definitely learn to recognize stuff in this area to adapt treatment/refer.
