Front wings like those aren't really new. There were some front wheel drive time attack cars that use a similar setup, it was just a matter of time that non-FWD cars do it too.

The car won the King of the Hill shootout, it didn't win it's actual race class. Reghard Roets won the class in this BB Motorsport GT-R with a 40.565 second run. This car placed 2nd with a 42.214 second run in the class standings. In the KotH shootout this car clocked 39.877, which was faster than the class finals. The BB Motorsport GT-R set a time of 38.045 seconds in Quali 3, making it the fastest car of its kind up the hill on the weekend, and ever. Without the aero.

Chris I always loved your work but please bud report the facts right . Franco scribante racing is the ultimate official record holders with a 38.10 in 2022 . Whatever u do in Qauli runs does not count for shit . The scribante team had issues on Saturday, but dont forget they posted a 38.7 on sunday (unofficial) in a qauli run . The class final doesn't mean anything to them, so they boosted the car low to see what the road can take . The king of the Hill is the deciding race that separates the men . As much as we love Regard and Bb motorsport, they could not handle the pressure and made the mistakes same as scribante did in 2021 . FYI, the wing is there to stay . Be sure the scribante car will break the records again . Those guys are professionals at their game . Keep up the good work

The qualifications rounds are only timed so it can get u into the final run of your class and the final top ten of the king of the Hill shoot-out. Only in the class final and Koh shoot-out your time would be stated as a record. This is what makes this event so special and keeps the people on the edge of their seats . In 2019, scribante did a 38.5 in the qauli runs, but only his last run of Koh was recorded as a record, although it was a 39 .1 and almost dark Apologies if I came across rude . Was definitely a dog fight till the end, and the respect between Franco scribante racing and Bb motorsport is huge. Incl the 2 drivers #Respect

What would be the benefit of using this over say a GT3 race car with a bit more power ?

It only came second in the shootout, it won it's class. It also set a faster time up the hill in qualifying for an unofficial Simola record. Without the wing 😎

Do you have unlimited rules on the aerodynamics. With your large wings, why don’t you connect it to the lower wishbone suspension. Is it against the rules like in F1 when it was banned in 1960’s.

"Wildy modifed" is a different car with the shape of the GTR hahah. It is massive tho. I wish I could see this compared in actual price in development with and F1 and see and f1 climb the hill. I know it is not fair since the F1 is ment to be run in 1 atm but maybe a bit of mod there and see if it generates more down force than this car in this race and if that benefits it somehow or not enough

is it anything that a gtr can't do wow I get sick every time I see one breaking some records are one in person since I sold my 09 8 months ago due to harder to get part for the 09 to 2011 getting a 2012 on up
