I have a client that just started her locs journey and she was telling me about how when she had to pray she had to put water over her head, so what are you tips to when she just had a retwist (not retie nor crochet, just retwist) ? I told her maybe she could use those stocking caps with the APPARENT holes so that it could lay her hair and the water could still pass through really well.. is that okay ?

Locs are definitely a game changer!! 😍 I learned how to retighten my hair right here on KZread! Re-twisting seems much easier but I’ve never tried it

Hey Tomiwa, how’s the micro locs with the hijab. I am type 4c hair and I’ve been wanting to loc my hair but I have very thick hair(afro) so i’ve been contemplating getting it cuz I’m scared it will get too thick and long(as in much in the hair) and hence will be too big in my hijab😂 idk idk please tell me how it goes for you I really wanna get my hair locd and rest lol right now I do corn rows on my hair. Hi!! I have very thick hair too so trust me I had/have the same concerns! Plus my locs have been growing/expanding a lot recently with no end in sight so idk what I’ll do if they get too big for my hijab but I told myself I’ll cross that bridge once I get there 🤣🤣 they’re short enough rn to where they don’t affect my hijab so I’m not stressing. Mine are like smedium size and I could definitely see them getting out of hand in the future so maybe super small mircolocs could help prevent this?

Microlocs are cute but I just don't have the energy/time for a retie 😢. I have regular locs that sometimes look bulky under a hijab, 😩 but yeah . Locs are a breeze ❤
