Absolutely excellent video. I was looking for a work around for my audio jack not working anymore after only a couple of uses on my 2020 Sony A7 III. This looks to be the answer I am looking for. Thanks for the very detailed review.

I also have the Rode Lavalier GO & Rode Wireless GO II but I never use them…I prefer using the Sony. My focus is capturing nature sounds, so the omnidirectional pattern won me over, but I was very disappointed with the quality of the audio until I found your video, other videos led me astray. ​@@adamtalkstech did some voiceover for my latest video...very nice. Just have to figure out the best audio level for outdoor use, once spring comes around I'll get lots of chances to practice. I was able to get the sound of a clay pot cracking while in the fire....so cool, tagged you in it so you can hear.

for a ceremony with loud sound what do you change in fcpx ?

Honestly the RODE MIC that plugs in to the 3.5 mm jack was getting way better performance than this thing and that mic is only $99 Sucks to have a wire go into the jack but way better than this thing in terms of Auto performance.
