Hey Charlie! You can actually access the full quick panel settings from the top left or right with a two finger swipe down, no additional settings to turn on needed.

i have one issue with the update. when i take a photo , i can not apply filters. just when i am taking the photo. not after.

I just upgraded to UI6, however, there are many problems or features not available on my S22+ 1. After upgrade the QuickStar's "Quick settings instant access" is no longer working. Can you plz suggest what to do to get this work, as I dont want to go to the top corner every time I want to open it fully. 2. Most of the camera upgrades like - Auto FPS options, Swipe up and down on/off etc are not available.

Hey, QuickStar's 'Quick settings instant access' has now been integrated into One UI 6, you dont need QuickStar for that feature anymore, i've demonstrated this in the video. Auto FPS has a separate menu now, although not sure if S22 Plus has this or not.

I hope they put pro res dolby vision video , and Google AI features , better low light video , crash detection , and emergency satellite features in the s24 ultra . Also micro sd card wouldnt hurt or 2 tb phone internal storage

I doubt about the dolby vision video…I mean samsung is one of the maker of HDR10+ but AI and other features we will see it to the future galaxy devices.

Actually i don't like the new design of quick panel because I can't change those four longer buttons(wifi, bluetooth, smart view, device control) as what I prefer to use, but your video still helps alot, thanks!🎉

Is there a way to put the brightness control at the bottom of the drop down/quick access menu? Just did the update and not having it at the bottom is terrible. I could also live without smart view and device control, any way to remove those?

Dang alright, I appreciate your effort and response! I don't like or use auto brightness and sometimes I forget to turn it up before it gets bright out and it was really convenient to know I could do it without having to struggle to see where the slider was. Just something I'm gonna have to get used to I suppose.

im on s23 fe and the issue that I'm facing with this android 14 is the battery life. i noticed that the battery drains a lil faster than android 13. and the second issue is this phone gets hot faster than usual

Some of the things you are showing, are not available (yet???) in Phones lower than S23. I have an S22, and the remove unwanted object at the take automatic document photo, or the photo leveling in grid mode are missing, although UI6.0 has been installed.

I've never wanted to roll back an update so bad. If I wanted an iphone, I'd use iphone. I hate all the transparent background crap, stupid tool buckets in my notification shade, and OMG THE VOLUME ROCKER!!! Why in the world would they do this to the volume rocker? It used to be you could adjust the volume in steps by tapping the button, or hold it to continue raising the volume. Now, when you press and hold, it only goes up one increment, then you have to wait like 1.5-2 more seconds- STILL HOLDING THE VOLUME BUTTON DOWN- for it to RESUME adjusting the volume. Its less predictable than the lousy electric windows in my car that always want to roll ALL the way down, even when I just want a crack. Edit: I just noticed the re-implimentation of a hotspot quick tile. So that makes one thing- and one thing only- they changed for the better. I turn hotspot on and off several times a day, so this is nice to have. Unfortunately they TOOK AWAY the dark mode quick tile, which I use just as often. Wtf...

Glad to know that 6.0 is being released to the S22 Ultra, what area are you in? I'm in the USA but I don't see the update yet

None as of yet, I hope it will be patched with the December security update.

The repositioning and sizing of the clock on the lock screen is not an option on AT&T Samsung Phones...I have an 22 Ultra and can't do this...AT&T does not give us full control of most new features 😢

Oh no.. Something went wrong during the update process I guess. No other option but to take it to Samsung and have them re-flash One UI 6 on it. Something like this happened to one of my Sony Xperia phones almost 8 years ago.

@@TechGuyCharlie Fortunately I was able to get my phone back working again (credit to Payette Forward, David and David). It seemed to me my phone was hard bricked but as they described it may not be. What I needed to do was hold the Power button and Vol Up button not for 5-10 secs but for at least 30 (long) seconds. The Samsung logo appeared and the phone did it's thing and it's all good now. I was probably in a state of panic to begin with and counted a quick 30 secs but it needs to be a long 30secs. I hope this may come useful for someone else in the future if they find themselves in this predicament. Now I can rewatch your excellent video on explaining the new features of ONE UI 6 now on my phone. Cheers and thanks again for getting in touch.

personally I would be worried blocking software updates over USB might make the phone unrecoverable should something happen.

I think It will be unrecoverable without USB blocker as well. I ran into a similar situation where the display of my old Note 10+ turned completely green, and there is no way of recovering the data off USB without unlocking the phone (entering your unlock pass/pin, tried ADB, 3rd party software, none worked.

I have the biggest issue with this update and the worst one so far I use galaxy m33 5g No doubt the notification and all is good But the icons in the recents tab and in the folders is increased so much ..its like using a kids phone And the animations are really really hard ..the folder, recents tab, closing an app, deleting a photo, getting a notification and more these things do not have a soft animation in my phone ..overall look of the phone is great but the animation and the apps icon segment is the worst

We haven't got it here in Australia as far as I know

Hey, the quick setting instant access works only if you swipe from the top corner of the screen, swiping from the middle will open it partially.

the drag and drop is for sure my favourite feature but the emojis...... not the best 😬

I just want one thing... resize the icons on the home screen. It's too big now

You can change how many buttons per row in the home screen settings that will effectively change the button size as well. But what's wrong with Goodlock?

And for the goodlock by change the icon size, I cant apply color palate to app icon and also it affect the homescreen app also. I know it is not a major issue but as I have spend so much on this phone, I think it is a big problem as it is not as I like it to be.

Its the color of the wallpaper, i've set it through the color pallette.. long press on the screen and go to wallpaper & Style then color palette.

Brother help me my s23 ultra after one UI 6.0 update automatically turning in to golden colour after 10 pm and getting back to normal at 7 am morning I even turned off eye comfort mode and all colour things but it's keep repeating everyday I am hating my screen becoming golden colour every day

Literally zero issues on on my end, not sure what might cause play store to crash, but I would suggest a factory reset.

I dont like the one ui 6 battery graph, i liked it better with the screen offtime.

Sadly the camera intelligence is only available on high end samsung phones it doesnt come with for A series samsung phones which are very disappointing
