    Haha! You're right the dorms are subpar. I went to uni in Taipei twice and the beds are literally just a bunkbed without a mattress. But, I really loved going to uni there and living there for over 2 years :)

    The fact that you're half Taiwanese and was born in Taiwan, I think you can still apply for a Taiwan citizenship, or at least getting the permanent residence.

    To answer the poster snakes . Watch out for any snake in the jungle assume they are poisonous because they probably are and hornets Hornets swarmed and killed a few prople a year Rare to hear anyone dying from a snake bite but it has happened though really rare
