i start writing review of other's works on google and goodreads one may hope it leads to reciprocal reviewing but i don't even contact them coz it's kinda low to smarm that way. but yeah, my reviews are honest but favorable and frankly hopeful. liked commented subscribed

This doesn't work anymore. I put the review link to my book in my book, had someone else check the book after buying it. It said format not supported when they clicked the link. They tried this on kindle

Great videos. We publish books on Amazon via Amazon KDP and we would like to modify those Amazon emails customers receive that encourage them to write a review on Amazon about the book. Does somebody know how to do that? Thanks

I personally used next level ninjas platform, they're good for book launches & verified reviews. They also did some social media buzz when i put my product on Amazon, haven't seen it on any other platform - got some amazing content thanks to them!

I was so hopeful that this video might offer something genuinely refreshing and helpful, but as the minutes passed by it became clear that it slots neatly alongside all the others videos, which are well-intentioned, but unfortunately provide no real help. For starters, if an author has a collective of 20-30 committed reviewers, I doubt there are any who aren't already tapping into that resource. Secondly, if an author has a newsletter and a reader base, I'm sure they're already tapping into that resource, too. You mentioned people visiting your website. Again, if authors have a website with traffic, show me the author who isn't already tapping into that resource. This is just stating the obvious. Not only does this kind of video fail to help those who DO have these resources (because they already know this), but worst of all, it fails to help those who DON'T have those resources.

Bella, the Self Publishing School is a great series. However, I should point out that it is a common misconception that Amazon uses reviews to determine sales rank. This is not so. This misconception has been doing the rounds since a company who was looking to sell Amazon reviews sought to elevate the importance of reviews to a gullible public. Amazon does not use reviews to determine sales rank. Perhaps you could re-edit this video with a small correction in the opening preamble by way of a correction.
