Yo that's not exactly how eternal onslaught works, it's not "more crit chance the less energy you have", rather it only activates when you are below 25 energy. 3 contamination waves is not enough to get there because you have the zenurik waybound unlocked. you'll have to void sling into the ground a few times or stay in void mode longer in order to activate it. you can tell it didn't activate in the video because you did not receive the buff in the top right of your screen. it's worth noting that for someone without the zenurik waybound unlocked, 2 contamination waves is enough to activate it

This is a great guide video. I really appreciate it. I'll give this mode a shot with my Ash.

If you have Xata's whisper then Phenmor's Incarnon mode is stronger then then Laetum's since you get bullets to hit miltiple enemies around and they hit same target few times too. Also with Xata's Whisper any headshots will regen incarnon mode ammo so you can stay forever in that mode for Phenmor and Laetum.

For any future readers, they sadly patched Cold elemental ward working with bullet attractors in update 32.0.7

As always, great info. I didn’t even think of using contamination wave to close the void tears!

want to say that you should always use viral in this game mode for 2 reasons 1. viral damage has a type bonus against armour stripped thrax 2. viral procs applied last into the thrax ghost form making them extremely squishy this allows you to use other focus schools namely vazarin

Really been enjoying running Dual Toxocysts. I threw 2 green shards on my Rev so that i can strip armor with just my weapon. Secondary encumber + galvanised shot gives a stupid amount of base damage

Did you try using Octavia with Vastilok for armor strip? That would allow for using Madurai. As for Madurai iself - you launch 3 contamination waves into Thrax to zero your energy to trigger EO, but woudn't just using operator 1 (Void Strike) trigger EO and also give you even bigger damage bonus?

arcane trickery lets you cut duration entirely and subsuming resonator with range is INSANE for survivability

You can one shot sp trhax with zenurik focus you just need 1-7-7 amp with both eternal arcanes and in the zeunurik focus school take temporal drag and temporal shot. All you have to do is press 2 and aim for the head and it gone.

the hardest ''skillcheck'' was watching dat pink ash, he burned into my soul. Boi was so bright and pretteh I couldn't handle it.

the eternal onslaught + contamination wave combo will definitely get you killed faster if you're trying to carry a group to level cap/over the 1hr mark because you need all the energy in the world to do that amount of exolizers at that rate, and anything other than unairu will make last gasp nearly impossible at much higher levels. having a specialized group definitely makes room for more leeway and allow less self optimization, but making a specialized group for this takes longer than the mission itself so i dont bother. but this is definitely one of the best guides for casual/new players to void cascade

Just subsume either shuriken or pillage over octavia's 2 and there you have armor strip

How did you get 90% status on your phenmor. I added the same mods an its only 70%. 88% if i add hammer shot. And how do you have 10% cc. Mine has 20%

So is this still accurate? Like I really don't feel like ash is the play anymore but I have no idea

Just subsume pillage or shuriken onto ocavias 2 you dont need her 2.

This is very nice idea. Makes Octavia in kinda better "ranged" Ash since she has longer invis and very good aoe potential with 1+4. Only thing missing is you dont have Roar/Eclipse/Xata so your weapon damage would be lower, but maybe with Incarnon Laetum/Phenmor it would be ok. Question is what ifs better - armor strip with shuriken and no dps buff for weapon, or dps buff for weapon but no shuriken and maybe use Unairu or Vastilok.

You don't need armor strip when you have ash the king of slash. Just press 4 and use invisibility arcane.

If you have a wisp with you Xaku is the best frame for this game Can both deal with trash mobs and kill thrax easy thanks to xata wisper

Sure Xaku build for range is generally good for this since he can kill trash with skills (no need for Zarrs and Brammas) and use take strong single target weapons to kill Thrax. But he needs Wisp to survive here for longer as he doesn't have any invisiblilty or armor/deflection skill, only passive with 75% dodge, that means still 1 out of 4 bullets hits you...

Time to farm Ash just to make my octavia better it would seen

armour stripping not nessecory I used 2 forma phenmor with roar and it worked fine jut had to wait for slash dots

Octavia can have pillage with her 2nd ability to armor strip and Octavia doesn't really have to worry about energy and her mallet can easily cheese the level cap enemy and her 4th ability increases the range of her mallet.

To fully armor strip with Pillage you need 400 power. You cant make usable Octavia with 400 power. For Shuriken you only need 143 power.

To kill adds with slash ticks. You can't armor strip all adds around with shuriken or Unairu in reasonable time. You can use some slash primary maybe instead of glaive and kill Thrax with Laetum.

either or world 177 is more comfortable and higher dps potential but 777 is rlly rlly consistent dmg and kills fast with its beam but can’t crit i think plus 777 has terrible range and i mean terrible

This is an opinion some ppl won`t like but I'll say it anyway. Ash needs a revisit and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, stats and ppl`s actions proves he needs one. I say Ash needs a revisit and ppl say "he`s perfect" and get upset with me but he`s not, Ash has issues most ppl don`t know about. The reason being because; People use two of his augments 24/7 to the point where they completely ignore the issues of the abilities and act like they are ok. The way people use him and talk about him ("oh he can use seeking shuriken to strip armour and can kill lvl 100+ with bs) they can`t see his issues in a general sense. If you are openminded and want to see the facts along with a revisit that makes him 10x better than he is/was I have put up a post on the warframe forums called THE TRUTH ABOUT ASH take a look and tell me what you think ON THE POST.

Here is the one long known thing - instead of actually providing any feel of "balance" and "usefulness" and rework/fix some useless/broken skills/frames DE went easier way (for them) - introduced skill augment mods. I mean what is even the point of Shuriken needing armor strip augment? Why this is not baseline? When this didn't solve the problems - Helmith. Frame has useless ability? "Just Helmith that off mate" Frame is useless and clunky in general (Savagoth)? "Just eat the frame and enjoy that Gloom"

I don`t think seeking s should be apart of his ability, the ability needs to be good on it`s own to where it turns his augment into an option instead of a requirement.
