So excited for this series! I also love that you don't plan to use the aspiration calculators or zodiacs. I will admit I'm a sucker for the scripted events and the canon lore, but I honestly hate deciding hobbies and aspiration in such a regimented way. You never end up with interesting cases like a shy romance sim, or a mean family sim that way. I roll a dice to decide aspiration personally, and base hobby off the highest associated interest (that I've mapped out myself). Great job on the house as always!

Thank you for watching! And I completely understand the nostalgia over canon lore and scripted events, it's just something that I don't think would be interesting because we've all seen it time and time again. And abt the zodiac system, I'm an astrology girlie irl so I use an overhaul which fixes the compatibility to actually make sense 🤭 and use the RPC launcher option to unrestrict personalities from zodiacs. So we can have a mean cancer, shy leo, active capricorn etc..

BIBI I LOVE IT💕 How do you do it ???😩 I almost cried at the final reveal - it is my absolute FAVORITE of your renovations thus far! I think of the Goth family as being secluded since Bella’s disappearance. Perhaps Mortimer and the family were a bit more lively back when Bella was around, but since the disappearance, they only have a select few they mingle with. Everything else remains private. AND SPEAKING OF THAT DISAPPEARANCE. We all know Bella was last seen on Don’s rooftop looking through the telescope. The telescope is pointed RIGHT at the Caliente household. The Caliente household has connections to extraterrestrials (family tree). Dina wants Mortimer’s money. Don was rejected for a make out sesh with Bella (Don’s memories) and instead got himself into a pickle with the “next best thing” (Cassandra… “living in her poor mother’s shadow”). I think Mortimer paid Don off and/or threatened him to marry Cassandra to keep things a little hush hush about Bella and the rumors… But that’s just what I interpret from the evidence the game gives us. I am so excited to see your interpretation of the events. Especially with free-will and the blending of the neighborhoods☺️ KEEP IT UP BIBI💕 Looking forward to the next video!

If you really like making your own stories how about making a custom hood where every Sim is made by you and has its own story? PleasantSims started a series like that and built apartment buildings, community lots etc and populated it with like 20-30 Sims. I enjoyed watching that series but she's not making any more episodes. Also a great stream idea!

Oh I'm DEFINITELY going to create custom hoods in the future, creating the terrain map in sc4, the sims, the builds... It is quite the time-consuming task tho so I'd like to know I can commit to it in the long-term.

First of all, I'm blown away by your creativity and talent! Such a beautiful and magnificent renovation, really fitting the Goth family! I can't believe you've been doing KZread for only 6 month? (I think you said it in one of your previous videos) You're soooo good with the quality of the content you put out! Crazy respect! 💪 I'm so happy you're doing an Uberhood! They're so fun and different from singular neighborhood let's plays. I'm currently playing Pleasantview+Belladonna Cove+Bluewater village Uberhood and the drama is impecable! Also, the way I often play the Goths is that they are old school aristocrats (almost royalty) with a certain set of rules they must uphold. No electronics in the house; women always get married in black dresses (like the royals used to do before Mary, Queen of Scots); the older male heir always inherits the house and land; as the "heir to the throne" the teen male heir always has to get military training (so master the teen Military career); all the Goths are buried on the home lot. In my current Uberhood, Cassandra was left at the altar by Don, the SAME day decided to sleep with Darren and hastily married him the next day, because she was pregnant. They moved to the Dreamer's house and wanted to get a cat. Their neighbor, cat lady Tara Kat (from the occupied houses bin), was selling cats at that time and Darren went there to get a cat for Cassandra. He met Tara, they had CRAZY chemistry and two days later, he cheated on Cassandra with Tara AUTONOMOUSLY (I'm NOT using ACR) and Tara was pregnant. So the NIGHT Cassie was giving birth, Tara just showed up on her own, kissed Darren in front of Cassandra and Cassandra found out about the affair in the middle of her labor! Cassandra was even ready to forgive him, but as soon as Darren knew Tara was also pregnant, he asked Cassandra for a divorce. So, having both an ex-fiance and ex-husband in a matter of 4 sim days, Cassandra became evil, started to hate men, moved back home with her daughter and turned herself into a witch. I'm using Pandora sims extra spells, so she'll actually be able to kill sims after she masters her magic.

ooohhhh myyy gooosh that story is insane xD poor Cassandra went through an entire lifetime's worth of drama in a week sgjshughsdgi. I absolutely see her going down an evil witch sort of path after this sort of thing. And thank you so much for your kind words!! I actually made my first video a month and a half ago so it means a lot to know I don't suck too much :'D I don't really have a fancy setup but I'm trying my best.

Ooh, the Goths! Such an iconic family, the Sims wouldn't be the same without them. Mortimer's hobby is nature, which makes sense as he has an 'unusual fondness for insects'. For Cassandra, her hobby is tinkering, but Film and Literature is a better hobby for her. And little Alexander... I just want to be there as a big sister for him. His hobby is nature, but science is so much better for him. As for Bella, in TS3, her favourite colour was actually red, which matches her iconic dress. You did a fabulous job with this build. Now, here's what I did with them. Dina did not actually get married to Mortimer and Don didn't get married to Cassandra, as both Don and Dina (as well as Nina) were all found guilty of Bella Goth's disappearance. Mortimer and Cassandra were horrified that their to-be spouses (and sister-in-law/step-aunt in the case of Nina) were responsible for the loss of their family member. And poor little Alexander was heartbroken that his mother still wasn't found at that point. However, there was still hope. John and Jennifer didn't give up, and little Lucy was helping Alexander with bits of information wherever she could. Eventually, the Burb parents found Bella hiding out with Kaylynn Langerak, her brother Parker and their cousin Thomas (based on a townie with the Langerak last name). But Bella wasn't the only Goth there; she had given birth to Mathilde; the third child of herself and Mortimer. This was a great shock, but Mortimer, Cassandra and Alexander welcomed the toddler with open arms. Mortimer and Bella were happily reunited and remarried, living out their golden years together. Bella continued to help Kaylynn at her toy shop, while Mortimer became a 'cat' dad to Hector; a descendant of TS1 Goth cat Hecuba. Cassandra had happily married Darren, and continued to climb in the Science career. Cass is an awesome mother and stepmother to Dirk. They also have a cat, Melina, a descendant of TS1 Goth cat Menelaus. And Alexander and Lucy have fallen in love and will get married as adults. Alexander is getting into the whole 'technology' business that his parents never seemed to insert into their house.

I'm more of a TS3 girlie myself, but I'm so excited to see where you take your playthrough! Also you did a great job with the Goth's house! I love that you were able to kind of modernize the house but still kept that 'Goth' feeling in the house.

@@bibipixels For me Sims 3 was my first introduction into the sims series, (I didn't get any of the games until i was already an adult, lol) so while I enjoy Sims 2, Sims 3 feels more natural to me. Especially since I'm recently returning, TS4 had me in a chokehold these past years. 😅 If you ever get that urge to play 3 I say go for it though! 2 and 3 both have their own special charm to them.

This renovation is perfect for the family that lives here. I always thought the Goths deserved a grander looking house. It’s gorgeous 😊

Another amazing renovation!! I LOVE that you plan to base aspirations around something other than zodiacs - there are too many of the same types of Sims that way. I like to roll a dice when unsure what my Sim would choose as an aspiration. As for Bella - you have the clean template, right? So Bella's in the family bin, right? I like to use a mod to keep her locked on a lot out of the way and pretend that she really did get abducted by aliens, and when Mortimer dies, I usually age Bella up to an elder and have her pass on, too. One time, I did "bring Bella back" right before Mortimer's death so he could have closure. Then, she helped Cassandra raise her kids in Goth Manor and visited Alexander often. Cassandra actually aged into an elder before Bella - it was very unique.

Finally came back to finish the video after I got interrupted halfway through and I absolutely love this Reno!! The interior turned out gorgeous, with all the little Gothic details. And I love the cemetery. I'm happy that the renos aren't done yet, and am looking forward to seeing you tackle the lots from strange town and veronaville. As for your description of the upcoming gameplay it sounds great. I'm not a rigid player either and like to play more freeform like you. Using their spontaneous actions to tell a story and balancing that with my own input. I already love the storytelling you're inserting into the game with Alexander developing a fixation on aliens after Bella's disappearance. And the small details like making sure there's space for a live in butler for this family. You are still the only Sims channel that has currently captured my interest and I'm really looking forward to all your upcoming content. I hope your channel quickly continues to grow so you can make money off your hard work!

Omg when the game crashed during Mortimers makeover! A) As I was watching I kept thinking “omg your game is such high quality how does it not crash?!” - sooo that answered that 😂 and B) The crashing sound will forever haunt me Also, I am SO looking forward to your gameplay! If your builds are anything to go by, I can only imagine the gameplay. I’m especially excited about you going off the beaten track regarding gameplay rules etc. We need some fresh Pleasantview gameplay and ngl, I think you’re going to bring it 🙌🏼

lmfaaooo I know right? It usually crashes only after many hours of gameplay, but it's been struggling more during recording because it's running multiple heavy processes at once. I ordered a new PC I'll be paying off for a while so hopefully we'll see less crashes in upcoming videos 😅 Anyhooww, I'm much better at building when it comes to making videos because I feel nervous talking during gameplay 🥺 So I'll probably be awkward at first but I'll try my best. My rules are: no rules 😅😅😅 I operate mostly on calculated chaos as in I have a story in mind so I won't just autoplay and let things happen. I'll fulfill wants and tweak the narrative along the way because I like it when my sims have free will to do whatever they please.

So crazy that you left those white folding chairs for the wedding haha this was beautiful!

Less than 10 minutes in but the exterior looks so good already. Love the roof details and the changes you made to the house structure. Now it really looks like the luxurious Gothic house they deserve! The original door and gate looked so sad and underwhelming. On another note the staircase you placed looks perfect for this style of house imo!. I think these Victorian houses often had stairs like that. Any time I've toured older houses the stairs were normally not super huge.

For the sun room, you can use the greenhouse walls and roof! I just did this the other day for the Roth family is Riverblossom. You can place it on a foundation, connect directly to the base house, and place the greenhouse roof. The roof may not be the aesthetic you want, but it's an option!

I don't play with calculators or rigid rules either, I found that really hindered my creativity. And spreadsheet sounds like torture to me lol. Yea, it'll be a bit of a slow burn in the beginning and I'll probably follow some of the scripted events, even though I've kind of disrupted them because I've already loaded and play tested the houses a bit during the makeovers.

This applies to wall hangings and shelves only I believe. You need the Apartment Life expansion pack and you use the brackets [ and ] to move objects up and down. Additionally, I recommend getting the Shiftable Everything mod, which enables the same functionality for most other objects too: modthesims.info/d/670142/shiftable-everything-move-any-object-up-and-down.html
