That exotic chest piece paired with the Fragment of Dawn and the artifact is sweet. Constant suspend and radiant buff in harder content even with 26 strength

I personally use Monte Carlo. Your melee becomes anti-barrier so you don't have to worry about anti-barrier

just wanted to mention you can have 40 Strength and you can still get your melee ability back relatively quickly. but whatever you like prioritizing is the way to go 👍

Depends on how much you're relying on other subclass/exotic perks to get it back. If you're on strand with a suspend heavy loadout, I could see a case being made to max disc for Weaver's Trance and relying on the exotic perk and fury to refund it. On prismatic, there's transcendence for slamming on the gas and using mataiodoxia's triple melee suspend blast; but outside of that, you're relying on Facet of Balance and scoring the final blow on the few enemies you suspended with the blast itself for melee charge. There's also arcane needle's intrinsic charge speed bonus (having a 1.16x|1.64x|2.6x regeneration speed when you have 0|1|2 melee charges), so investing into strength is actually more valuable if you're taking advantage of the regen at 2 charges by juggling it so you're only using a charge when you're at full/close to full charge. Visa versa, if you have poor strength, the value of keeping charges might be less relevant than using it to prime more suspending blasts (and refunding it with suspend kills).

I have a similar build! My aspects are Lightning Surge and Weaver's Call, with Nova Bomb super so I can get overshield from orbs. I like Lightning Surge more because A: I get all six fragment slots, and B: one of the fragments can be cure on grenade kills - which works as a nice substitute for Devour. Weaver's Call is nice because threadlings still put a lot of damage out, and between my Hatchling Wishkeeper and that aspect I'm perpetually generating them.

I can’t seem to get off this build with bleak watchers and jolt from arc nades and indebted kindness to take care of overloads then obviously Outbreak and Indebted for barrier and unstop. I will sometimes even throw in chill clip rocket but that is kinda overkill for overloads

This build is best paired with a strand weapon like wishkeeper, because there is a seasonal mod which makes tangles destroyed by strand weapons create massive explosions. So you can suspend a group of enemies and detonate the tangle to kill all weaker enemies instantly. Also wishkeeper is some extra suspend for more melee energy.

I'm making an educated guess, but I think Mataiodoxia is one of the exotics that have a hidden exotic focus. Some exotics that heavily rely on 1 specific ability like claws of ahamkara and contraverse holds basically act like you had a stat focus mod on at base. So, based on what you actually have as your ghost mod, you either: - have a double stat focus, if you have a focus mod in the _other_ stat group, like Mob|Res|Rec if the exotic is a Contraverse Holds(Discipline Focus) or Dis|Int|Str if it's Vesper of Radius(Recovery Focus); -Override the intrinsic focus/be redundant if the focus mod is in the same stat group (Dis|Int|Str with Contraverse, etc.) So, assuming that Mataiodoxia IS one of those exotics, use one of the focus mods in the Mob|Res|Rec stat group to double up on the focusing *_TL:DR;_* Use a Resil Focus Mod

Really you can throw it on any solar build. Not really a build around it. I slotted it into my starfire build and it’s starting to feel better than prenerf starfire

@@itsdavetvYT you have to wait for the barrier shield “not the visible shield” but the white bar below their health to pop up. Otherwise it just doesn’t pop the bubble

I honestly think both have their own benefits, Getaway Artist with Amplified and Mataiodoxia with Suspend as an example

Both Hunter and Warlock are killing it this season. You don’t need to choose, just play both! RIP Titan mains, hopefully some solid buffs or reworks coming soon

Depends. For the current gm a suspend build feels super good, because there are so many bunched up enemies spawning. On other GM’s a swarmers build should do better Can send you my swarmers build if you want to

I've had probably 50 exotic engrams drop so far from lost sectors and still haven't had a single mataidoxia drop. I haven't had a single new exotic drop at all yet everything's from prior seasons

Finish the campaign on legendary and you get to choose 2 of the new ones or reset the cryptarc rank and then you can focus decode the new exotic engrams for an addition cypher cost.

You can't get them from lost sectors without unlocking them previously. The only way to get the new exotics is through legendary campaign or through resetting rahool and getting the option to spend a exotic engram + cipher to focus the new exotics you want.

Go to rahool scroll over twice on the exotic focus screen… have at least 1 exotic engram and you should be able to purchase it

Bros a straight noob💀 the only way to get any new exotics is from ranking up rahool to 16 and reseting and you can use a Cypher and exotic engram to get the new exotic. You CANNOT get it from lost sectors lil bro, have you been living under a rock?

I tried a kinda similar build and I find having to hit 3 melees is absolutely bs. On glassway all champs were teleporting left and right, some ads sometimes got into line of sight and the tracking prioritized them, harpies seem to teleport now… it’s just so bs.
