Ugh...the concept of "confessing love". When you "confess love" all your doing is unburdening your feelings on someone who's completely unprepared. It's selfishly blindsiding someone. More often than not the "confessor" doesn't even know you or been on a date with you, let alone "loves" you. They love the idea of you. I love you should be something simply said; organically from intimately getting to know someone. It's not something you confess. Anyway...just this guy's observations as he's been around the block.

Nothing like watching Game of Thrones with the family.

I've had both men and women fall asleep next to me and lean their head on my shoulder. I've never really been bothered by it. One time it was a girl at a similar age. She woke up midway and I asked her where her stop was so I could wake her up if necessary, then told her that it was fine to lean her head on my shoulder if she wanted to. She actually did as well, which was kind of unexpected.

Once I was out with a whole group of friends. I think there were like 7 or 8 of us. We were waiting outside the Chili's for one last guy to show up after he got out of work. We saw him walking up towards us through the parking lot so we all went over to meet him. For some reason he looked really nervous. We said hi to him and started to tease him about the goofy shirt he was wearing. The entire time he looked like he had no idea what was going on. For about 2 minutes straight all of us were carrying on talking to this guy and teasing him about his shirt, and then our friend (who we thought this guy was) came walking up from behind us, and was like "Hey, who's this guy with the fucked up shirt?" They could have been twins or clones. It was insane how much this random dude looked like our friend. He even sounded like him. The only difference was their sense of fashion and their mannerisms. Afterwards we realized that the entire time he was scared out of his mind thinking he was about to be mugged or something and just wanted to get away. We all apologized and offered to pay for his dinner in the Chili's. Which he declined.

I literally put someone in a headlock thinking it was my friend, he had his back to me and we were both laughing and then he turned and realized it wasnt a friend lol even worse I knew him by eyesight only, I just apologized and ran away..Years later we did talk but I couldnt bring it up and he didnt either 🤦‍♀️

Public proposals make me cringe on another level 😬 If the person proposing gets rejected it’s such a horrifying experience especially in front of a big group of people If the person getting proposed to doesn’t like the other person they are now in a situation where they are almost pressured to accept....If they reject the other person then people tend to dislike them and pretty much pity the person who proposed 😓 It’s so awkward 😣

The celebrity meet handshake thing must be a cultural difference, I’ve been to a lot of scifi conventions and hardly any of the actors or voice talent shook hands or interacted with fans beyond just signing the autographs like a factory job. I’d much rather go to the sort of meet where you can ask a question or take a photo, etc.

Wow you’re missing out!! Kpop fan signs are a whole different universe for you then. You can give gifts, talk to them, they ask you questions, you can request them to say stuff, they hold on to your hand for a while also (my personal favorite) and just a lot of interaction in general. You can’t take videos or photos of them but professional photos and videos (by fan sites and the entertainment company) get uploaded later on. It’s pretty hard to get in but once you do it’s like heaven with your faves. Not to mention k idol interactions in general are most of the time, amazing !! (Also I can imagine cons are very exciting as well as high touch)

loveya ok as long as I know, when they’re at a different country, yes. Say you go to a fan sign in Korea (for a kidol) there’s probably not gonna be any translators. But concerts (and the other occasions) have translators.
