As a former Container Store employee, I wholeheartedly agree on most things. Just wanted to mention a couple of things based on my experience. 1) You mentioned those IRIS 3-pack of bins as not a good buy for mostly uniformity issues, which I agree. However, since the brand is SOOOO good, I have picked them up to use in other spaces of the home. While it would be nice to have every single bin match in the home, I find it's okay for me to have uniformed bins in one space, but the storage differs in each particular space if that makes sense. 2) Sometimes, you may be lucky to find a "set" of things in different sizes, but it is for unique purposes. For example, Costco carries ProKeeper products (which has the best airtight storage I have found on the market), but each of their products is meant to hold something specific (brown sugar, rice, flour, etc). Getting sets like that are an EXCELLENT deal to snag since they are for very specific purposes. 3) Sometimes, for uniformity, I will buy multiples of the same set (like their glass storage products) to keep consistency in sizing for storage so the may be another option to keep the uniformity going.

And yes, you are right about purchasing multiple “sets” especially if those canisters work with your well thought-out plan. Too often though, people buy them without a plan in mind and feel disappointed when one set doesn’t display well. I so appreciate hearing your perspective. 💕

You can buy separators at Lowe’s for those black bins. I label mine on the outside.

Thank you so much for following along! Sadly, the black bins don’t fit the chrome shelving but, they fit the black metal heavy-duty shelving really well.

Organizations start from the top to the bottom.What you do people follow the teacher.We need financial organization, but this is great so as not to overspend and set priorities.

I used to do a Spending Fast with my followers on instagram, every year in January. It's been awhile since I've done it, but even I gleamed so much from it.
