Hi, i’m really interested to buy this. But i want to confirm if the adhesive pad for the rear camera included in this product? Because i don’t want to damage anything. Or alternatively can i use the suction cup for the rear camera?

yes, it comes with 3M double sided tape. IT is holding up well

What is the operating system that manages everything on this carpurid? I got a w903 with rear camera. I would like to mount it on my Caravan but technical support doesn't answer me. I saw that it has a video cable with a 3.5 mm minijack connection. In your opinion, with 15 meters of cable, what precautions should I take for waterproof mounting? Consider that I arrive at the tow hook after 8 meters and I should hook up to the car and then get to the carpuride w903. Some say Linux manages everything, others say Android. What operating system do you think it has? Is it possible to install other apps on the Carpuride W903 or are we forced to only use those on the phone in CarPlay or Android Auto? If so, what should I do? Is there enough space to install other apps? Does it have an internal GPS or not, do you just use the one on your cell phone? thank you very much and congratulations for everything.

This one is based on Linux. It's a very lightweight distribution as the hardware is ancient (probably Cortex A7) and it's basically the same kind of software that runs on dash cams. There are indeed some Android Auto headunits that run on actual Android, those are usually much more expensive and take much longer to boot - I'd advise against them for most people who'd normally use Android Auto or CarPlay.

Does it come with reverse camera? Don't see it in product description

Amazon has an extension cable. Just search for 4 pin backup camera extension cable

Hello. I have a quick question. I have this screen and am having a hard time connecting the camera so when I reverse it automatically turns on on the screen. I hardwired it to the reverse light cable, however, it now stays on the screen with or without being in reverse. Do you have any idea what might be the problem?

you have it plugged in the wrong light cable. As long as the wire receives power, it will display the backup camera. Double check you are tapped into the backup lights

@8:00 It doesn't connect to my pixle 7pro either. Next phone is samsung or iphone.

I don't get the need for this car accessory when all I need is a phone holder, Bluetooth dongle and tadaa...my phone is what car accessory. Maybe the dashcam? But again I can get a dashcam separately

Because why have all of those things when you can have them all in one package 😂 just makes sense less clutter not to mention a bigger display the fact you have Android Auto to read out messages and answer calls without fiddling with your phone and it's ready to go when the car is on and auto connects no need for putting a phone in a mount

You need to contact carpuride helpdesk. You need to give then your boot image and they will give you a custom file to upload

The UI is slow af. Why are they using such underpowered hardware to run these things.

Did they send this for you to review? WARNING!! I have had nothing but trouble with this company. I bought a W103 Pro and was having troubles and I reached out to them and at first they tried to help but nothing was working so for over 2 weeks I have been requesting a return. They are basically threatening me that I shouldn't ask for a return and my money back because "shipping costs are expensive" and "it will probably get lost in shipping". So if it works for you great but if it doesn't, you are going to have a hell of a time trying to return it. There are a lot of limitations with using Apple Car Play and Android Auto...don't think the map service will work like it does on your phone or tablet.

@@jesspeed Me? Nope. I bought it with my own money. In the end we worked it out. They gave me a % of money back and let me keep the unit. They were really good with trying to resolve the issue up the point where I said forget it and just wanted to send it back and get a full refund. They sent me an update that helped too. The customer service was great except for the part of me wanting to return it.

Did you just copy HP Victus' logo?

Do not bay will break in few day's or week's hands-free, freeze etc. talk like robot if you like to send product back they will say the product can get lost or they can make lost I think.....carpuride w903

I'm an avid user of Waze, Google Maps, and KZread music. Even if it runs well, is the interface that much of an upgrade? Seems kinda counterintuitive to use a service that doesn't already direct plug-in play integration to your device. Although I haven't experienced it, so I'm just curious. I personally love Android auto.

​​@@micahjohnson9184having used both I would say it's not really an upgrade in the traditional meaning but Android Auto is - at least for me - the most buggy piece of software Google has ever created and that's not to be said lightly. Apple Carplay is just much more stable and less buggy for me. This can of course be dependent on a lot of different factors like your car/head unit, your phone, wired/wireless connection and so on so ymmv
