Yesterday I played 1 ranked, after 1 round one teamm8 left, he was the only smoker in a team. Game ended 9-13 and I was 26/15/9, MVP of a match and I got demoted. Before that match I was on 3 win streak but somehow I got demoted. I have no idea what happened and it completely discouraged me from trying to get to plat and playing the game in general

That’s just a bug don’t worry, your mmr is pretty much the same it’s just the image rank going down after 1 loss. When riot fixes it after 1 win your image rank will go back to normal

I have a similar predicament to u. I played 3 matches with back to back wins and my latest on was a 26/6/9 as omen. But I lost in overtime and decreased a lot despite being the highest fragger in the match

Wheb you're opping and you get lag spikes every time someone comes into the area or when your game crashes after you're the only one left and you clutched a 1v3 but have to diffuse yet. This was me two nights ago haven't had a problem since but man I was big sad

If you’re trying to get people to listen to you, don’t point out that you’re top fragging, that’ll just get you called insults and further tilt the people you’re playing with. Just try to humanize yourself and talk often, only mention strats and try your best to coordinate with them. Honestly the best way to get them to listen is to get results with the execute so maybe work on strong site take strats?

Same bro I just carry them or support them mainly the sage pushes and dies and me kills 2 or 3 players and die because of low health and other player tell me that Noob can't clutch like only 2 or 1 me from inside :^_^) and broken valorant match making is worse I am in silver and get iron players I understand they r new but valorant should match them with same rank so they can learn ggggg

Straight up the best advice would be to listen to comms. Whenever I have golds in my team, they always tell me to "shut up" when I just literally told them the enemy position.

On one hand I agree but on the other hand as a Sage main in a clutch situation you have to deal with people screaming in your ear for a rez while you're trying to determine enemy positions

I remember i was playing rank and i wasnt in my greatest shape, but we had a great teammate that really can aim. What I did is just being useful cause I’m playing Sova so i was able to provide intel for the team. In the end we won 🙂

I solo queue and average 20 kills and sometimes 30 with fragers in bronze queue but usually lose because my other teammates get like 10

You may also play *DEATHMATCH* to practice or warm up to get used to the gameplay before hopping into a session.

The best advice for me is to focus your attention somewhere else when youre tilted sometimes you feel tilted even when you win the game because you feel like you couldve done so much better if youre tilted do play other games do something else for a few mins or an hour if you feel better play again it will clear your mind and make you play better overall because youre no longer thinking of your lost game like you had a mental reset. This worked well for me when I was playing league I cant stand ending a day with a lost game so I try to get wins just to lose 5 straight and win 1 so it tilts me even more.

Permanently ban killjoy in comp play since when the attackers are defending the bomb the defenders might as well surrender when the ult starts

If anyone needs help with vod reviewing just search up "vod review proguides fortnite" in youtube there should be a vod review guide by proguides fortnite tips and tricks and even though its fortnite specific it can be applied to valorant

Trying to get to gold, when I hit silver 3 I get like 4 wins and 1 loss will derank me.

I dont think it’d be a bad idea for pro valorant to lag a patch behind live servers. This way pros are more used to any changes that happened on a patch and theres more time to catch bugs or overturned changes

Try reducing the graphics and get the most frame rates and get not that bad mouse and keyboards that's how I play .....iam not that good but play everyday do warm ups , using aim labs and all hope I get better over time

Honestly if you can’t even get like 45fps, it’s not worth playing. Just save up a bit and spend a little time researching. Even a $500 pc will be fine, or if you have one already you can likely just upgrade some of the components and keep others to save a bit of money. Just do your research

hp laptops from the good guys are cheap, last long and have great graphics. don't get laptops you find at school because those are the cheapest laptops you can get in bulk. you can get a lenovo yoga if you need a laptop that is light and has power. these were about something less than 599$

I tilt if my team just baits, because they can change their gameplay. Flaming someone because of their aim or like noob movements then i dont tilt some people will improve soon, or theyre just new to fps everyone starts somewhere

I’m bronze 3 with most my friends around gold. I generally play with them and can keep up and top frag, yet when I solo queue, I can still hold a site well and get kills, but I feel like I’m losing every game and I’m not sure why. My mechanics are pretty good compared to others at my level.

Bad teamates. I was at peak of bronze 1, almost bronze 2, and cuz of teamates i dropped to iron 1. Now im in iron 2 and about game or two to iron 3.

objective is always more important than kills. top fragger isnt always the one contributing the most to the team. go in first, get kills that contribute to taking a site instead of picks, work with teammates.

I have now officially played over 5 matches where there is a smurf killjoy in the enemy team.

I have high game sence and control recoil pattern but my ping is 200 and even if it ok i can tolerate but packet loss is my greatest enemy

It’s all fun and games until you get an iron in your team

I was trolled once in ranked. Sage revealed my location to ennemies and blocked me while brimstone ulted me

Wish riot did that with league too

Only thing is that my friend is higher in the ranks because he mains a duelist and top frags which usually means he wins those crucial 1v1 rounds therefore winning But I main a sentinel and I have to rely on other people to do that but yet it never really works out because I'm low elo and it looks back round I can't carry a team based game with a defender type character :/

Good video but I have to disagree on the first point:" focus on aiming first then learn agent abilities ". My stats: > Closed Beta: Silver 1 > Act 1: Plat 1 > Act2: Gold 1 > Sova/Omen Main since Closed Beta I play this game since the start of closed beta (April 7th) and what I learned first (in normal games) is using my abilities, as for example with Sova and Omen, then after Closed Beta ended after 1 month I started to train my aim. Yes, I have a long way to go when it comes to aiming because I am a 27-year-old Boomer but in my opinion, abilities are more crucial than aim especially when you have agents like "Sage" not placing a wall and instead go for a kill then die and scream like a kid: "I MADE A KILL I WAS USEFUL". No sorry, you are not, you are a healer/support who died first, sure you traded 1vs1 but why should you do that on DEFENSE? So I'm not saying aiming is not crucial in this game but I saw even low Diamond players who are not using abilities at all and this is kinda sad because yea maybe they will out aim lower ELO players but they will also sometimes outplay you just because of understanding abilities better. The best example, go watch the video where Pro's tried to play vs the developers in Closed Beta. They were completely destroyed just because of game knowledge and ABILITIES. Only after a rematch and weeks later the Pro's understood that if you are bad with abilities you will be outplayed, even if your aim is godlike. My experience in lower ELO (under Gold1): Try to find a good Sova, Sage, Omen. It's nearly impossible. What I did on my second account is just play Omen in Solo Q and focus on myself, my aim is/was definitely not as good as a 15-year-old, but people do not listen to sounds in this game (especially in low ELO) so I could move with Omen wherever I wanted and won a lot of rounds/games for my team just by playing my agent way better than everyone else. Got to Gold 2 even faster with my second account than with my main.

It's just sad that if you play well, DC team mates arrive. Or DC at the middle of the game.

Learning abilities, maps, and recoils is pretty standard for most games. The stop to shoot is difficult to get used to. I have the biggest problem with the slow walking that is COMPLETELY silent. That’s some bullshit.

You might want to play overwatch, as a secondary option. As far as I know, in OW the aiming is easier as movement doesn't decrease accuracy and abilities are more relevant, I think (haven't played it)

I Normally don't get tilted unless it's a certain "friend" that joins the discord voice chat and proceeds to gaslight or strait up make fun of us because whaaat you've only played 9 hours of cs and you're not a 1000 hour pro (silver) like me? We usually just mute him but sometimes he sneaks in and ruins our night just to get a kick out of it.

I once _won 7 games in a row._ 3 slightly increase, *2 rating normaly increased, 2 rating greatly increased, both top frag 28-35 kills* IN BRONZE 3, then i lost around with 12 kills, 8-13 and got demoted, like wtf?? The solo queue system needs to be like when you win, you get 25% extra points, and if you lose you lose just 75% of the 100% points

The thing is that i play with good game sense but the enemy sage would just get a running headshot and i would tilt

problem is i am worthy of gold 2 ish but accidentally went into a game when my crush wanted to play on my setup a 0 and 22 loss later i am bronze 2 and i have teammates that are halfwits and have noone to play with i can't solo carry

I swear I’ve seen 10 videos similar to this giving the same advice.

One of the reason why free-falling in ranked is because the matchmaking decides to put Irons/Unrankeds in the same team. Duo-queuing in ranked at Gold seems to attract players like these for some reason. Not all irons or unranked are bad. Just the ones who are REALLY bad. It’s just so hard to carry the team when they die so fast or give away the position. Don’t even mention those teammates who DC. Let the rank free fall further I guess

I always win one game and in the next game I'm teammates are sooo bad or the other team is insanely good

The time it takes to die is significantly low and people usually don’t have the time to ads before shooting. Ads is mostly used for peeking long range angles.

I always get bad teammates at solo queue

its BS the want 6 Heros on one year, the should make more maps and forget the heros. One every Year is enough, it destroy the hole Meta and most of the times there are more bugs. Better the making 4 new maps that we have 8, and when some maps need rework the change it to some other finish and do it like csgo and upgrade the map pool while rework the map. This is boring playing 20 times bind and 1 time haven... i have no problem btw that the remove killjoy first from the tournament its a good idea and thats the reason why i say no new heros more new maps and focus on polish the game more and more.

I want more Maps too not shit loads but at least another 4. agents are important too this game came out with far to little Agents I dont want both teams to be the same characters all the time. Every team has cypher and sage mirror matches get boring their needs to be variety.

The very first tip should be like, get a fucking beast of a pc with specs such that it can give you 200+ fps and that too with a reliable internet connection..!!! I have felt it.

Iron3 over here too , I usually prefer playing a cypher in my games but i mostly play Sage in comp. just because it’s a very important role and i see a lot of of Sages playing aggressively and dying at the beginning, though i must say if you have a terrible team of duelist hiding forever it can get pretty frustrating as a sage

MajesticBoi YT i gotta admit, it’s not always easy to use sage’s ult especially in a planting area where you know that there’s enemies near, you can end up wasting it . Also i think some sages hate to use it because it gives the enemies your location, I personally tend to use it usually on people who died in a safe place or if i’m going to put myself in danger then i’ll use it on probably our mvp so he can back me up
