How do Germans feel about the German Empire or the old Kaiserreich ?

I've been here 7 years so far. This is the first Berlin itinerary I've seen posted online that I actually agree with! You covered most of the same spots I suggest to friends when they come to visit (and more!), gut gemacht 😊

It’s pretty impressive how you live there, and still can think in the mind of a tourist

I'm going to Berlin with my boyfriend for a full week in 10 days and I can't wait, I'm very grateful for this video! I feel you've given us enough places to visit to keep us busy for more than 3 days even, and I'm so glad we can stay an entire week to really explore this amazing city! (Although we might not go to Oeuf as we're French haha). Thank you!!

I was solo traveling in Berlin for the first time for 5 nights in September. I was amazed at how huge the city is and there’s like 10 things to do in a day. 5 nights weren’t enough. Every moment was so happening. On the 3rd day I was actually so overwhelmed that I broke down and cried at Alexanderplatz. But I don’t regret a thing. I will visit again in December for the Christmas markets. God I loved this city. So full of life and energy!

I've been to Berlin 6 times and have visited almost all these places, but one that I haven't visited is the underground tour. I'll be back next May and will certainly go see it. As always, another great video!

I loved your video of the best spots in Berlin. I was there in 2019 and fell in love with Berlin! I can't wait to go back!

For me, the main reason to visit Berlin is the history. On my first visit, I concentrated of course on the main sights, the Brandenburg Gate, the tower, Potsdamer Platz, etc... I have already visited the city and its surroundings 20 times and I still find something interesting related to its history. Of course I also tried the night life and it is also unique. Berlin is not the typical German city and if any tourist wants to visit Germany, it is better to head south, Bavaria for example. Your content about berlin is the most interesting because you show places and activities that differ from the usual tourist attractions which every shows.

I spent an amazing week in Berlin last summer! I did many of these things. My favorite thing was going to Mauer Park on a Sunday! I’ll definite go back in a couple years. I chose to visit Munich this summer just to try something new, it was lovely.. but Berlin was cooler! 😎 keep the videos coming!

I tried out a few electric bicycles last year and prefer the Isla. The charge on the battery doesn't last as long as on most electric bicycles, but it's lighter, so you don't need to use the battery as much. I thought in Berlin you would need to ride an old cheap bicycle that nobody would want to steal or a foldaway bicycle you can take indoors. I hate broken glass. It's everywhere in Cardiff and I never had a puncture until I moved there and now get on average two or more a year. The only way to combat that is to introduce a mandatory bottle deposit and when smokers in pubs go outside they should be given a plastic beaker to pour their drink into before going outside and kept by the door. A member of staff could be by the door to check on customers going out for a cigarette. Or replace all wine glasses and beer mugs in pubs with reusable plastic ones.

This video made me happy that I checked with German people on KZread what to do and got most of these things. Sadly I missed Burgermeister because I was only there three days and couldn’t find that original one somehow.

I love this video. I lived in Berlin for 10 months last year and I can say I still haven't gone to most of the places you recommended. But yes I experienced the most common ones like the mauer park, museum island, berlin wall, jewish memorial, and the underground tour. Few places that could be added are the checkpoint charlie, the bar/restuarant at "the pregnant oyster" or The Haus der kulturen der Welt" (I loved the vibe of that place sitting along Spree) and also another of my favourite street- Bergmannstraße- I know many Berliners say its a tourist trap but sometimes I want to trapped! Anyways I highly acknowledge your recommendations for eating, I am gonna try it all next summer when I am visiting again this amazing city (ich leibe Berlin)!

You can check out Rockcafé HALFORD or Paule's metal eck in the district of Friedrichshain. The area is full of nightlife. Hope you will have a good time in Berlin.

But I read that this kind bikes are illegal in Germany and they are actually mopeds and must have plate . Do you know something about that , because I am scared for now go out with it in Berlin .
