So I felt like I was looking at the heat waves on the go pro in the bowl for the flair from gopro nthe dji didn't pick up on the mirage wavelengths Idk I'm blind too

This is a great comparison video. I've always loved gopro, but as stock, the dji is better. If you use max lens mod 2.0 for gopro, it is so much better than without. But again, That is an additional cost.

The video title says it all, so either watch or jog on by. I prefer the more Bmx orientated videos myself, but scotty has to pull in the bucks somehow.

Thanks for this comparison. I could never put my finger on why I didn't love GoPro footage. But you nailed it with the slow turn around and highlighting the fisheye effect. Most GoPro footage you see online is super fast and I think that hides the stuttering around the edges of the fisheye. The DJI wasjust so much more pleasing to my eyes. You pointed out the DJI having exposure issues. While not deal breaking, were you able to edit those to improve the blown out brights, and too dark darks?

If your gonna do a full video ad. I can say I'm happy it's something you can at least put bike riding in it. But you could have put some more bmx in it

I have a GoPro 10. That being said whenever I replace my camera I probably will go with the DJI after this comparison.

Not a big fan of ads, but your last video did convince me to buy the dji osmos action 4, just because I've been wanting a camera

I know the dji mavic pro 2 has a really good camera on it

Question. Is the fisheye on the gopro turned off? If it's not, will the lens glare be the same? Also, how would they compare under different settings (1080p, fps etc) Another note is that the audio with a gopro, I've never had an issue with. But that's just my experience lol I wouldn't mind trying out the dji though

I do not own either put the DJI looks more photo real and looks like it has less distortion. The go pro looks like its trying to put an auto filter on it. i dont know im not a camera expert.

That go pro footage distortion makes me sick watching lol. Still great camera but DJI definitely beat it out on all levels

Can you also compare them to the Insta 360 Ace Pro? 😀 Or at least with the DJI Osmo

DJI has more of a drone feel. It definitely flows better

The DJI feels like Drone FPV and the GoPro feels like I'm in a fish bowl being carried around.... I don't like that and I think I prefer the DJI. 👍

whats great is that he is open and honest in the title about what the video is about. And he is just comparing them side by side so you can either watch the video or not. It would be pretty helpful if you were a bmxr wanting to choose an action cam.

@bermchasin I mtb, snowboard and race cars. If I need a action camera I'll go looking for reviews of it. I'm here for scott and bmx not for product placements. I little ad here and there is fine not like this though

One thing that always annoy me about GoPro footage is that stutter or distortion every 15ish seconds, Noticed it on the DJI too, but way less often and obvious

Both overpriced in my opinion

What u should do is a cheap 40-70 dollar action cam vs a gopro cause not everyone got 400 or so to throw away on a cam
