Ah yes suppression. Realistic but annoying

I found that changing the reticle size to the lowest percent actually made me shoot a lot more accurately. Especially while using dmr’s. Try it out, changes red dots, 3.4x and 4x sights

@@SilkOCE yeh ik. I just usually associate anything with “alypse” as a kinda negative thing. As I said in the prior comment, I see new players as a good thing. More people to enjoy the battlefield, and less sweating from constantly having to battle longtime veteran sweats

What ones did you get

I will add my own nugget of info here. If you happen to alt tab the game, for whatever reason the games FPS will tank. To fix it, change your fullscreen resolution to something else, then change it back to your preferred resolution/hz. Hopefully this helps someone else who’s having gross FPS issues. Also thank you for this guide. Easy to understand/follow, no bs. I’ve got 900 hours on console and 100 on pc, and for the entirety of my time on pc I’ve been screwing around with other graphics guides that don’t really help performance, but this does. The gameplay setting are pretty helpful too, wish I knew about them in 2013!

As someone who recently switched from console to pc, I’ll be waiting for this video for 2042 when it drops, super helpful!

Hi there! Really liked your guide, i have one quick question though. Is it possible to set the icons to fade out when aiming except for the enemy icons? I can't seem to set it up as it is tied to the "objective visibility" slider, while i would like for the flags to disappear when aiming, i'd like to see the enemy "doritos" clear as day, maybe some setting in the config? Thanks in advance EDIT: Never mind, that setting doesn't work in shooting range and works exactly like it should in normal play!

I played BF 4 on Xbox 360 and haven’t played it since. I just bought this to get back into modern combat for 2042, and have sucked horribly. No joke your settings made me go from a K/D of 4-15 k to playing a K/D of 25-15. Crazy how some settings can change how you play.

Hi! Is there any way to increase your FOV more than the game settings allow? I had a bug playing a few days ago while flying the jet and the FOV was ultra wide. It was really cool to play like that.

Nice video! I will try those out just bought BF4 yesterday lol. I was only using GeForce Experience filters. I made my game look a bit sharper and colorful with that.

On your recent videos that you upload for the mbts, party lav, etc. I noticed that when you use thermal optics it's a bit different than usual what setting is that because I like the looking of the thermal optics on your recent videos

What's the explanation for the uniform soldier aiming coefficient at 0%? Like why it's mathematically better?

With that setting I cant see with thermal scope on tanks for longer than 200m then all enemies are invisible in thermal scope. Which setting it is to see longer with thermal scope?

You're a hell of a pilot, thankfully I don't think I've come up against you in server yet. 😅 I just came back to BF4 after a five year break, and was interested in what settings you were using. Unlike yourself I generally play an agressive recon, and I'm trying to get the feel for it before the release of 2142. Sadly you didn't discuss your mouse settings, player mouse settings at 1%, and vehicle at 9%. Are you switching your mouse DPI to get the settings right, or doing it through the config files? If I had my player mouse setting at 1% it would take my whole desk to do a 180° turn!

How did you move your UI/HUD more towards the middle of your screen?

My game wouldn't launch after adding the user.cfg file. I thought it could be because the file encoding wasn't set to ANSI. But I tried deleting and remaking it as an ANSI encoded file, and no success. So I then deleted the user.cfg file from the folder, and the game is still not launching. Lastly, I tried the repair the option in origin, and it's still not launching. I also restarted my pc between most of these steps. Any Help would be appreciated..

The "always use fullscreen" advice is about 6-7 years old. Used to, the application didn't have priority if it wasn't fullscreen. But that has changed so now Windows knows if an application is in borderless windowed and will give it priority resulting in the same amount of input lag between borderless fullscreen and fullscreen. If you're still using Windows 7 then you need fullscreen. But Windows 10 fixed this a long time ago.

When I connect my controller to plat Heli for example on Pc, even being a ps4 controller, starting it with Steam Big Picture, or with DS4Windows so the ps4 controller gets detected as a xbox controller, ingame the controler key binds look like random (L2 to leave the vehicle, tactil pannel from ps4 controller to shoot), does anyone know how to fix this?
