I really love what you've done here, and it really is so much more than a binder. As you went through it was obvious that every Pokemon has received some thought and attention. I think anyone looking at this binder would understand and appreciate how much it must mean to you. Out of interest, have you done/thought about doing similar layouts for other sets? Or was it more a labour of 151 love?

I really like the layout you went with! It really showcases the cars well! I organized my 151 binder similarly giving every row to one line of Pokémon and filling in the gaps with energy’s turned around. Thank you for sharing you awesome 151 collection!

Wow awesome set love the layout

Yesterday I learned about what some people consider the true 151 master set, gonna call mine a completed collection from now on 😅 there’s a $1k+ galaxy foil effect reverse holo Voltorb from 151 with a Stamp, that was only given to Mentor Judges at the International TCG competitions. Not to be confused by the normal reverse holo voltorb with the same stamp, which was given to the floor judges and still costs around $400 USD. I don’t see a world in which I’m buying that card for my own collection.. oh and thanks for all the market insights, especially the reprint rumors etc. have all been spot on recently. 🤙

This is a very unique set up for sure. I can tell you put a lot of effort into this. Honestly I agree with a lot of what you said especially with them adding trainers like misty and Brock and even Gary and Professor Oak. I also think if the Charizard was a little bigger, the card would have been stunning. I still love it though lol.

this inspired me! consider going vertical on the squirtle / charmander line? Top to bottom for squirtle, Bottom to Top for charmander to Zard. make the story within cards make more sense

151 is a special set and your binder setup pays homage to how great the artworks are. I miss opening this set already.

Dude thats awesome I’m doing the exact same thing. I’m not chasing all the reverse holos as well i just want every card but not a master set. I look at them every other week. I had to buy a bunch of singles as well. I love ripping 151 but the pull rates feel Temporal Forces bad. This is really creative. I hung my 151 poster reverse side on my wall the other say. The fact they didn’t do illustration rares for the eeveelutions is criminal. I wonder if they’ll remake this set in some way or another in the future. We all know gen 2 is gonna get made one day as well. That Missing No. page is absolutely genius i fuxkin love it.

Dude that’s awesome. My son also has the poster up on his wall. I went a bit overboard on this one too. Did the Mew binder 1-165 regular then 1-165 with the reverses and promos. Then graded everything sequentially 166-208 with the Mew & Mewtwo promos and put them in a slab binder. What good is money when you can create a family heirloom!

Really interesting layout for a set. Too many energies for me haha but I absolutely agree with putting the starter evolution lines together. Though I think the SIR Charizard is one of my favorite Charizards hands down. It’s so different from every other one we’ve gotten I love it.

Collection that is nicely laid out. The only thing I wanted to point out was whether you should for the squirtle - wartortle - blastoise; charmander - chrameleon - charizard and bulbasaur - ivysaur -venusaur sections put them vertically to make the picture. Just a thought !!! Thank you for sharing.

This is pretty neat. Love the Poliwhirl too! I think the Char art page should have been vertical.

i start my pokemon journey with 151. its absolutely stunning. but i wish the 151 binder come with more pages as it cant fit all the common and holo (need stack some to fit all). now im slowly begin my next journey to collect my own 151 (all illustration rare/ TG) in slow pace due to my empty wallet hahaha

love the custom layout! I do this as well but my version is I have it in the original layout but I buy the most expensive version of each card. So that is the masterballs + english rare cards + mew and mewtwo full arts in Japanese + waifu cards in japanese. and then I made a full page of the charizard SIR's cause I feel It looks super clean

I have been working on my own masterset of 151 and have been looking EVERYWHERE for alternative examples of how to present them in a binder. Card number order is great, and looks ok, but it always bothered me when an evolution line got split across two pages, or when a page of lets say, item cards, doesn't get filled all the way and you have to start illustration rares on the same page. I've seen some people use the 151 ETB sleeves as placeholders and gap fillers and those look awesome, consider that as an alternative to pokemon card backs or random energy cards

My favorite SIR as well is Alakazam fuck yes. Was my chase. Glad to hear that. Its hands down the best by a long shot. Gotta go with Charmander ir as my fav ir tho

I really enjoyed the video! I wish more Pokemon creators produced personalized content that shares their root love of the hobby…. That said, your personalize master set layout is not for me… it looks like a binder full of energy cards, but c’est la vie 😊

The ultimate 151 master set consists of 153 master ball reverse hollows and the remaining 57 cards to complete the 210 card set in Japanese Im not trying to be a hater, you still have a nice set (not of fan of your layout with the energies but thats just a personal taste) still enjoyed your video
