That’s just how he is with everything (if you click on his stream at any given time, there’s like a 50% chance he’s shouting). I was a bit surprised why Ethan had X on the show, because xQc just isn’t the kind of streamer that would appeal to h3’s demographic. I mean, I think xQc is very talented and skilled, but why Ethan chose him to speak on this particular topic just confuses me.

However, Train wasnt able to put aside his attachment to his perspective enough to genuinely try and understand what ethan and hasan were saying. He was just stuck in a defensive mentality, and so he warped the narrative in his head and projected intentions out of anxiety to back up his feelings, and basically approached the debate like chess instead of an exchange and comparison of knowledge, because he was running out of points and he felt as if his ego couldnt be separated from his take. First of all if someone says something is bad and its still doing it what is so strange about that??? 90% of people know what is good and what is bad and still are not perfect, there is addiction and at the end of the day there is personal choice. If train gambles and doesn't want a young fans watching him and is stating that what he is doing is bad then let him be, go after twitch not the creator. Like I don't think gambling and those nude streams should be there but they are and their is section for it so that the end of that.

I don’t understand how my comment is dumb. There’s a difference between gambling offline in your free time vs gambling online to 10,000+ viewers, which I believe most kids will lie about their age just to watch their favorite streamers. Shit I did that just to watch adult content when I was younger. There’s a reason why I couldn’t just walk in the casino at 18-20 to play blackjack years ago. Twitch should make a 21+ but I feel as if most will lie anyway. Both parties, the content creators and the platform, should take accountability. Big influencers have a responsibility and what they show can influence some of their viewers even if there are disclaimers in place.

Twitch rules or law aside, promoting gambling is deeply immoral even if you outline the consequences. Tens of thousands of people idolize these streamers, often kids. If they see their idol doing x they will want to do it too.

That makes him promoting gambling even worse, as he's inherently targeting those gullible kids, even if (and thats a big IF) he's not meaning to. I do not like the "think of the children" argument usually, but children ARE more gullible and those casinos that operate in some random island without regulstions dont really have any preventions against children in place, so they might wanna try out what their "idol" does... It would be less bad if all of the casinot the streamers play in had very strict sge verification. But even then, adults can also get addicted to gambling. Gambling is really fcking addicting because of the huge rush you can feel after long stretches of downs for loosing a lot... That just works to amplify the highs more than being a deterrent, making it even more addictive
