The Texas Water Development Board participated in a two-day visit to the Houston area in December. Board members and staff toured the Baytown Nature Center with the Harris-Galveston Subsidence District, Houston Public Work's Northeast Water Purification Plant expansion, and learned about the Harris County Flood Control District’s flood mitigation efforts. Additionally, the TWDB held a Board meeting with stakeholders at the Harris County Flood Control District’s Talbott Pavilion.
