The 2% rule explanation is spot on. I never heard anyone explaining it so well. Awesome job there!

Found your channel late last month. I’ve really been enjoying listening to a few of your interviews each day while practicing TA. Lots of info and inspiration from everyone you’ve interviewed. Much appreciated. Cheers 🍻
You had some great questions that Daryl covered better than anyone I've heard discuss this stuff - and I've been looking at the financial markets since the late 1970s. Thanks for having him on!

Great interview E very straightforward!!
Good interview, Everyone gets so hung up around HFT algorithms when if they were not there we wouldn't have as much liquidity as we do now So you have sacrificed some speed for liquidity Yes they are faster than you and they can place a trade faster than you But they are still placing the same trade And the only reason they can place a trade that fast is because they have other algorithms matching their orders otherwise they would be able to take a stock to zero So when he talks about some ETF selling out of something to rebalance That's fine But they would have did that anyway It just would have cost them a lot more time because they would have had to rustle up the people to take the other side of the trade Now other algorithms will kick on to match that So the solution is to trade higher time frames because it doesn't matter if an ETF dumps in the middle of the day if by the end of the day or the week it's going to be a reflection of what the value really is
Really valuable content as always and good questions Etienne. Thank you.
Thumbs up! Great guest and host 🎉

Risk only 2% in total amount of capital??? But doesn't include how much risk per stop? So i must divide that 2% per trade?

To my point... all the trading books I've seen show 2 sides to their triangle... but yeah I was overthinking it :)
