How do you like the DEGENERACY MATRIX? ;)

i think it does a very good job for a small company and all the updates and patches have only improved on the game so its just going to get better. All it really needs is more class balance like no one plays forge guard for a reason. Also need a bit of love to the other classes that is very low played like lich, sorc and druid. Lot of those classes lacked survivability so there is just better options but forge guard just lacks damage haha. End game needs a few more options like just monoliths and dungeons is ok just needs more and maybe add corruption to the world and dungeons not just monoliths

Pretty much nailed it in this video. As a long time ARPG player, I think what the end game needs is variety. I no longer play POE, but one of the few things I liked about it was the variety of activities you could do. You were not forced into anything. Each of the league mechanics that went core were great options and for making currency to get what you need. I would love to eventually see LE also have different core end game mechanics that don't force you to always stay in the monoliths. Once you get your Blessings, it would be nice to have choices on what activities to do. Of course, this comes with time. Truthfully, Last Epoch is so far ahead of everyone else in the ARPG genre as a newly launched game. They are still miles ahead of D4, and POE was pretty much trash for years after its launch. POE 2 is a wait and see story. I love seeing that a streamer and content creator gets it that LE is not for the streamers and no-lifers. They have POE for that. Let the rest of us have a game that we don't need a PHD in game mechanics to play. Honestly, how does any sane person think that a game should be catered to people who play 12 hours a day as a job? I don't think there will ever be a game to meet the demands of streamers/no-lifers. Gaming companies have to choose who their core audience is. POE chose the top % of their player base as their target audience. They are extremely new and casual player unfriendly. D4 chose to cater to new and casual players and LE did the same as well. I always get a little tilted when I see the Path of Exile content creators talking about what they want to see in the game. Basically, they want to turn it into POE Lite. I am glad they enjoy the game, and they bring a lot of attention to it, but the things that would make the game great for you would be the things that ruin it for the rest of us, like POE is.

Yeah lots of narcissists out there who think ANY game needs to be catered to their style of play :)

For an indie company I am quite impressed by what they achieved so far, they did something that big companies can't do anymore these days which is making their game enjoyable.

That is correct. If you compare them to the size of Blizzard, that they managed to create a competitor like that is crazy.

@@alexxortv yea it is right when you compare the budget and the amount of employees that both companies have. Not bad.

It was fun but I played at launch online and got some weird error after 100+ hours and couldn’t play online. Their “fix” was to download a vpn… that’s a big nope

Poe really isn't that bad on time once you somewhat know what you're doing. To some extent if your buld works it's easier than the newer games too. the big time killer is their trade system which should have an auctionhouse as it's run by bots anyways

4:17 that transition gave me a heart attack, thought my PC is about to die. Oh and about the current endgame: Biggest problem for me is that the echos are WAY too short. Start Mono -> loading screen -> kill X (about 1-4 minutes) -> port back -> lootplosion, read through it -> start next mono -> loading screen... I don't even have time to appreciate my build, it feels like I'm spending more time navigating through various things that are not fighting. Had this problem in the Beta already, thought they improved it for the 1.0 release (they said multiple times they're aware of it). I'll check the next season. If it still plays like that, I guess I have to wait for season 3.

hahaha sorry about that :D yeah they said the nemesis system is supposed to help stay longer in echoes but I dont really see how that would help. Its much like exiled mages. Just another thing you kill quickly.

What do you mean? D4 has pinnacle boss.

Same as diablo 4, they add missing fucntionalities as seasonal updates (1.4). The balance between pressure from the share holders to release the game and developing time

I quit playing last epoch because after target farming the monoliths for hundreds of hours i still dont have the gear i want. The monoliths themselves are already pretty boring but not getting what i am there for just kills it entirely. Granted maybe my luck is ass but getting shafted like that is anything but fun.

That's what Merchant's guild is for. I played COF in cycle 1 and also was unable to get everything I wanted. I will be playing Merchant's Guild to be able to purchase those hard-to-find pieces.

@@Dcully I disagree with you Last Epoch is quite boring, POE is number 1, D4 after season 4 is 2, Last Epoch is 3 there is way less endgame in Last Epoch than the the other 2 it’s a lil boy that shined because people were mad at D4

I Suppose you're not going to be able to rack up 10,000hours played like in PoE since LE is so new. But man those still feel like rookie numbers.

Also could you stop mentioning D4? You said you haven't played it, so you comparing these games constantly without giving it a go u sound like a hypocrite.

I played 60 hours of D4. Not the same as LE but it gives me a neat insight, if not fully ofc.
