Lindsay works in PR… she knew to get her blindside story out first to make her look like the victim, when she is ALWAYS the villain. Girl never takes any accountability for her terrible actions and then gaslights everyone who calls her out. It’s a pattern.

1. She was not not blindsided. This is the story she went with to gain sympathy. 2. Lindsay is a liar. Calling in cameras for the break up was the smartest thing he's ever done. Need witnesses.

Lindsey has ALWAYS played victim!!!! ALWAYS!!!! Run Carl! Run!!!! Not sure why he would put up with her shit for so long!!!!! As soon as she accused Carl of being on drugs, would've been done!!!! She's wanting to throw him off of the wagon!!! She's disgusting!!!!

I'm not shocked about Carl calling of the engagement. Lindsay is nuts and treats ppl like sht. People give her a pass for her behavior and say, "That's just Lindsay." I've had friends like Lindsay, and it's exhausting AF there's never any accountability.

So Lyndsay is the victim? You know this for sure? One thing we have seen is how she abuses, emasculates, isolates and bullies the men she dates. As a publicist and someone who knows their behaviour may be questionable when the season aired, Lyndsay made sure she did all the frontloading of her story, knowing Carl would keep his mouth shut and let the season speak for itself. She knows it is better for her to be seen as the victim, especially in light of the knowledge she had about how she would come off once the show aired. Carl didn't just cancel the wedding. In all the years he's been on the show drunk and high as well as sober, him not talking to her and "blindsiding" her with the cancellation of the wedding is not him. She doubles and triples down, accusing him of using on camera. One of the cruellest things someone could do to a clean and sober person is accuse them of using. She is cruel. We've seen it since the show began. So no, we can't take her word for anything that happens.

I don't think Lindsay is the victim.. She 100% hasn't treated Carl well, that much is clear from even the first couple of episodes of this season of Summer house. Calling someone out & questioning their sobriety on national TV when they're supposed to be your fiance is cruel. There's no doubting that. He definitely shouldn't have to put up with that, no one should. I think there is no way she was blindsided by his decision, as a whole.. BUT, I do believe her when she says she didn't know he was about to call off the engagement in that moment & when they were filming. I do believe he called production in because he wanted a witness to what was about to go down. Maybe so she couldn't pass herself off as the victim to the public, because the audience will see the whole thing from start to finish & be able to make their own decisions.

@CelebNewsAddict There is no proof of Carl "calling production" other than the words of a drunken, scorned bully. Isn't it convenient that in all of the month's worth of press, Lyndsay did prior to the season airing, she failed to mention how her own abhorrent behaviour was the reason why the wedding was called off? She couldn't go into this year having acted and saying horrible things on camera she said to him and know that the wedding was going to be cancelled. Her playing the victim, being blindsided by him, is the buffer she needs in order to lessen the blow. Let's not forget there is still half a season to go and Bravo has her on camera saying in the promo, "I think Carl is going to call off the wedding and I feel blindsided" And even if Carl did "call production" let's not forget, they are on a show. Do we not think that Lyndsay, in order to save face, wouldn't have done the exact same thing? So far production has proven Carl's version of events right. I think he wants home, and Mom and Dad set him straight. Do you want to spend the rest of your life with this woman?

Lindsey is a toxic person..PERIOD. she is aggressive, abusive and treats everyone like crap if they disagree...Carl had to do in front of cameras...so he could protect himself....

Lindsay is never going to take any criticism be it constructive or otherwise or admit that she ever does anything wrong!

She plays nasty . She’s a mean girl . I’m not surprised at all . She needs to take a look at how she treats her gf and bfs. Not someone I would want to be friends with

Yeah agreed - they rushed all of it because they had a vision of this fairytale, "I married my best friend" rom-com type relationship, but it was never going to be like that..

The only reason Lindsey‘s parents wouldn’t tell her to NOT get married is BECAUSE they just want her married PERIOD

Lindsay was not happy and she is a Drama Queen......Carl should have known better.....if you touch a hot kettle it will burn you.....

So couples therapy before marriage and that’s not a sign? I think Lindsay finds her behavior normal and Carl is very passive. I think he was afraid of her and didn’t want confrontation so maybe stayed quiet. I mean how can you have a healthy conversation with her? He called it on the blindsided statement. He already knew how it was going to go down. I think it was a no win situation but I’m glad he is out of it.

Actually the person that is going to marry u recommend that u do pre marital therapy it's to make sure both parties idea of marriage is the same n they want the same goal for the marriage n raising of children or even if y'all both want kids..it's actually healthy at least it won't hurt🤷

In the trailer, Lyndsay tells her dad on the phone that Carl had told her that he wanted to call off the wedding. If she refused to listen to him and kept brow-beating him, which is her pattern, I have a sneaking suspicion that if Carl did call production to film it, it was so Lyndsay couldn't deny it any longer.

I'm just glad Carl finally found his balls and cut this off! Lindsay is a nightmare especially when drinking!

I just hope the girls who felt so sorry for this woman sees just how awful she treated Carl and lied about the conversations they had.

Lindsay is a bully and very toxic. She's abusive, intense and self-centered. She's very manipulative, her PR isn't working for her though, always in denial, playing victim and a liar. Every argument she has with Carl, she deflects and never accepts a critique, she turns it around and blames him for everything. His brother died, getting sober was painful for him and an important achievement to overcome and she accused him of not being sober because she didn't want the world to look at her filthy drunkenness but to look at him. So glad he didn't marry her, he would have been living in continuous abuse. Can you imagine if they had children? Thank goodness they are no longer together. She'll sabotage her next relationship until she gets professional help.

Lindsey is so desperate to get married and have kids she does not pay any attention to the health of her relationships. She lacks self awareness.

I Love this for Danielle 😂☠️ Lindsay is emotionally stunted IMO.

She knew, but tried to make it work despite everything. I believe in life we can overcome, if we really want it. She could have changed if she wanted to. She could have stopped drinking. That would have helped, but she shouldn’t have to, it’s clearly a choice. Today is so much different than yesterday. (Today) people want it all right now, and aren’t willing to put in the hard work, and they need to be in control. Independent. (Yesterday) people weren’t as privileged and demanding to be respected, and heard, and were more dependent on one another. Less Independent. I guess a marriage can work (today)if the couple can agree to their differences and have a mutual respect for each other’s independence.

I don’t believe he didn’t call production. It’s very apparent that he was lying in that clip. He looks uncomfortable, awkward and his voice was almost shaky. It also doesn’t make any sense. Production just randomly decided to film and it happened to be on the day he broke up with her? No way.

I definitely think Carl called production and Lindsay MUST have felt like things weren’t right before he did this.. they both admit they didn’t speak for days before he called off the engagement.. there’s no way she had no idea what was going on! 🤯

Yeah 100% Carl called in the cameras to catch this for the show.. maybe he wanted evidence of how it all went down 🤷‍♀️ But yeah I agree, Lindsay knew things weren't right, if she was told the day before that they were going to film, she must've known something big was going to happen.. She's an intelligent woman, I don't/can't believe that she didn't see this coming!

Lindsay was a biotch to Carl. She basically complained about their relationship all through this season. She manipulated this relationship and put on an act for the cameras. Her fake crying puhlease🙄

They’re both toxic af as partners and sometimes even friends and have proven so over many seasons. That’s why everyone was so hesitant of them dating😂 Lindsey is a perpetual victim who can’t take any responsibility for her own life and Carl is petrified of any sort of commitment but wants a wife and kids and family because he thinks he’s supposed to.

We all heard that on camera. Lindsey and Carl's rent was $17,000 a month according to Paige and remember Lindsey asked Carl not to quit Lover Boy until he found a new job but he quit anyway and didn't work for an entire year !! There is no way in hell that Carl had money saved up when he admitted the amount of money he was spending a week on cocaine ALONE and the add his drinking to that also !! WOW Carl admitted to barely being able to stay in his apartment or pay his bills !!! Lindsey was paying for everything and she never said anything until Paige and Amanda asked her directly to her face (at the end of the summer) how Carl was living without working. Who do you think was paying for the vehicle they bought together ??? Lindsey !! Lindsey bought him all that media equipment he wanted because he said that he wanted to get into media and she said he opened the packages but it was never touched after that, Lindsey paid for him to go to some class/seminar about networking so Carl could find a job and that alone cost Lindsey $20,000 and mean while Carl is doing whatever he wants, getting high everyday, not working a single day in an entire year and people that that's ok ??? Oh hell No !! Carl knew exactly who and what Lindsey was way before he proposed to her and I know Lindsey isn't perfect that's for sure but Lindsey didn't deserve this !!! Carl admitted at one point to going to production before he told Lindsey anything about not wanting to get married and his mom and dad definitely knew because whenever Carl was on the phone with his mama she never asked once how Lindsay was doing and Carl was lying to his mother about being completely sober !!! Carl used the hell out of Lindsey not only for money but for a really good story line. I just wish that Lindsey would have spoke the entire truth about Carl earlier because when Paige and Amanda asked Lindsey directly to her face is the only time Lindsey mentioned the money situation and they both told Lindsey that wasn't fair and to rethink marrying Carl but Lindsey put up with all Carl's using her because I do believe she loved Carl and definitely wanted to get married and have kids. Sadly no matter what they were not a good match but this all cannot be blamed on Lindsey because I don't know one man or woman that can live in New York City and live a very very nice life and not work for entire year that Carl literally bragged about on camera !!! When I go on vacation to New York City after I have paid for my plane tickets and my hotel I have learned that I have to take at least $1,000 a day and spending money if I want to have a good time in New York City !!

Carl dodged a massive bullet with Lindsey! I knew from them saying they were together it wouldn’t haven ended well especially with Carl being sober now and Lindsey always being a gaslighter since season 1.
