I apologize for using that word to describe my hair I was raised in a culture that didn’t share the same hair texture so that’s all I’ve heard all my life and now when I look at it it sounds super offensive to put myself down using those words as well

Girl I feel this so deep when I got sick before the doctors found the tumor and realized I had ovarian cancer I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me and thought maybe I was just losing my mind the ones closest to me judged and asked if I was doing drugs because I’d gotten so skinny it was sickly and that hurt the most. But I also always smile and try to worry about everyone else around me and make them smile and feel good. Maybe we do that because we don’t want others to feel or see our pain

@@wilted_rose510 ask for a full panel thyroid test. Doctors only test tsh levels. Your tsh level can be normal but your T3 is the active hormone and if it is low that's where the problems are coming from..

I’m embarrassed to say I never followed you until today! You came up as a suggested video and I loved this message. I’m 47, had weight loss surgery, gained a little back etc and just know what illness and inflammation on top of society pressures can do to your soul. One thing I know is that going through it all makes you realize what’s important, who will be there no matter what and in the end it strengthens your relationship with yourself. It takes such a negative toll on your body but it’s very important for the inflammation caused by being immuno-compromised.
