My question is why does she have a promo code? That would mean that the company is working with you. How should I trust this video if I know they are working with you?

Not accurate. You apply for the program and affiliate link separate. If you like the program and refer others you make a commission.

I defiantly watched this video about IVHQ which helped me make my decision and go to Guatemala for the medical project. I documented everything so I can help other feel comfortable to do so.

How was your accommodation?

Sounds like you had a great experience! I went to Malaysia with IVHQ in 2018 to work on improving endangered orangutans' sanctuaries...planting and building hammocks, etc. Such a great trip! It'll be awhile before we can travel again, but I can't wait to have that opportunity in the future. I want to do travel nursing in the future so I can do 3 month contracts and take time off in between to travel and volunteer.

I’ve read and heard from others about those types of positions and experiences and sounds like an awesome journey of you choose to!

@@w4rl0rd93 You have to check the restrictions of the country. Some places you may have to quarantine. Look all this up before you pick where to go.

There are different costs wherever you decide to go. I decided to do a less costly location such as Argentina but my plane ticket (12 hour flight) round trip will cost more. There are registration fees which is ($250 if I remember correctly) to have you registered and then you think about the costs of the plane ticket, travel insurance (depends too where you go and how long) which was roughly $85. Then if you want to travel and buy things while you're abroad, take in account how much you'd like to budget each week for. So it truly depends on you and how much you're willing to spend on certain things.

A lot of them costs around $200 per week to $600 but it depends on what you want to do. Some offer $600 a month or $0 because it’s a work exchange for housing and food situation.

Andrew Gore hey! Yes you do have time to explore and even take some days off to take advantage of traveling but a heads up and communication is important in your part.

So depending on your project you will have way more than enough time to venture off. I had my medical project in the morning and had the whole afternoon to do anything I wanted. you also have weekends off.

Yes pretty much, its a volunteer program that you pay for and it includes food and housing.

@@zalaegerszeg9527 So the price you pay for accommodation covers room and two meals. You either stay in a homestay location or a volunteer home. All of course which is safe.

Depending on where you want to go you can volunteer for as little as week. I just came from Guatemala using IVHQ it was very enlightening. I have documented everything on my channel if you want to get some idea.

Hi, can you earn college credit? I am planning to major in theraputic recreation ( a field involving a lot of psychology!) And wondered if you can earn credit in the special needs one? I was looking into Argentina and wondered if the food is good? I am a very picky eater0! Edit: typo
