Took matters into my own hands when I realized there was a showroom where it’s displayed where I live. It wasn’t at all what I personally looked for in a sofa (which made me so sad because I loved the way it looked). Not comfortable enough for enjoying a two hour movie painlessly. Thanks for thorough review, that’s what I needed back then!

this is so helpful. there really isn't any reviews out there despite relentless marketing on instagram. i've been eyeing this sofa for almost a year now, but the chrome bars moving is definitely a deal breaker for me.

I didn't know about this couch and it now feels like it's exactly what I've been looking for, honestly. Thanks for the review! It's very objective indeed and very honest:) Can't have enough of that in our contemporary world! By the way, the price of this is generally the same as the one that looks like that in IKEA and another I found on KAVE home - all of them are very similar, but this one is the only one that actually unfolds fully.

Thank you sooo much for the review! Its been so hard to find one online. The way i really love the lounge/relaxed vibe that it gives, i literally got it customized with a local welder/carpenter because i can't get it shipped to Rwanda. I like that you talked about the metal bars, and I'm wondering if it would make sense (since I'm basically getting it done from scratch) to put another metal bar underneath the mattress at the bottom to connect the others, to avoid each sliding off! Either way, looking forward to getting it delivered :) Thanks again!

i find it comfortable & have taken a nap on it but need to juxtapose the firmness with my bed which is pretty soft for the sake of my back (extra firm doesnt help my spine alignment) but cold foam is used for a lot of mattresses on the market, so im sure it would suffice just depends how much support or softness you need or want.

i havent had any but cant say for certain if its mold-proof. id suggest emailing the manufacturer directly for a definitive answer.

I got this sofá back in march and honestly kinda regret it. The mattresses are not comfortable and they’re stretching in the middle like I can see with yours (the top mattress is rounded on the front side). It’s super expensive and I would’ve bought a sofa in ikea for half the price honestly. Or pay the same (2100 euros in Spain with the shipping) for another sofa from a better brand

id still launder the slipcover in the washing machine and use a handheld carpet cleaner suitable for upholstery.

oh ok, it does happen slightly i think due to how i slide forward when getting up.

I've also seen relentless ads for this sofa I quite like. HOWEVER. My concern is mold/mildew underneath, like I've seen a lot of futons and mattresses on the floor suffer from. I'm too lazy to be airing things out all the time. But putting it on a base is even more money. Maybe its made for drier climates. I used to have a 80s hand me down fold out foam sofa bed that I guess was kind of similar (we had it on a base most of the time when it was a sofa) Incredibly comfy, just ugly. But the two mattresses were joined together with velcro, as they'd kind of scoot apart in the night and you'd fall down the gap.

These remind me of the nugget kids play couch 😅

Corduroy is a nightmare to clean, and is a big nono if you have any pets.

as mentioned, this isnt a true corduroy. Corduroy is quite heavy in weight and traditionally made of cotton, while this is not. its similar to say a velour tracksuit.

It was fine, but i cant sleep on it exclusively for more than a few days at a time because extra firm just isnt the appropriate type for my alignment and back issues; its too much support. I prefer somewhere in between soft and firm. So it really depends on what firmness u find comfortable.

definitely kid safe. another viewer reminded me of the nugget kids couch; id say its very similar.

this fabric would be absolutely terrible for cats. you'd probably have to wash this at least twice a week to keep the hair manageable
