If you want to know the truth, then you have to agree that there is so much wickedness and evil among us all and specially around all prophets ( it was crazy evil against them ). The Aramaic word for God is Alaha. The reason for this confusion is their dropping of phonemes as aforementioned. Only someone that has no idea what the letters are or how they sound would have a name ending in a pharyngeal fricative like the ayin, if it were to be used in a name it would have had to be in the beginning, thus the Arabic rendition is the correct one. In addition, The word God in hebrew is eloah, is a cognate of the Arabic I-L-H, pronounced ilah not eloah. Hebrew dropped the glottal stop and mumbled it into eloh, aramic mumbled a little less and it became elah. Infact it is written A-L-H in Arabic, it is pronounced i in Arabic cause it is an Alef with hamza below (إ أ ) They are two different forms of Alef. In Arabic letter shapes are different depending on whether they are in the beginning , middle or end of a word. This kind of nuance is lost in the dialect continua. As a matter of fact, all of the knowledge needed for deciphering ancient texts and their complexity was derived from the Qur'an. It was by analyzing the syntactic structure of the Qur'an that the Arabic root system was developed. In fact, that writing appears to have been a simplified version of it. Not only that, but it would be the equivalent of the greatest works of any particular language all appearing in one book, in a perfect script and in the highest form the language could ever take. It is so high in fact, that it had yet to be surpassed despite the fact that over the last millennium the collection of Arabic manuscripts when compared on word-per-word basis in Western Museums alone, when they are compared with the collected Greek and Latin manuscripts combined, the latter does not constitute 1 percent of the former as per German professor Frank Griffel, in addition all in a script that had never been recorded before. I am not a Muslim or an ex Muslim. I have so much respect for the strength it takes to leave something like this behind. I was raised in a cult called the Jehovah's Witnesses. When you leave the religion you become dead to your family. Parents won't visit you even if your in critical condition in the hospital and you might die. If they were legally allowed to execute you they would. From what I see Islam can at least be that extreme. I respect all of you who are brave enough to make that choice. Why worship the creation rather than the creator? It's not a delusion to believe all finite creation came from one infinite source. Its not trees, its not animals, its not planets, not wind, sun or stars that are the centre of the faith, its that humans are declared the best of creation. Made with the urges of lower frequency beings (animals, reacting to survive and simple pleasures) but spirit of higher frequency influence, we have the ability to transcend our physical via our spiritual. Our souls are eternal, this world is not. The cube is a marker to pray towards, not prayed TO. I'd be happy to answer any other questions or accusations to give better understanding, but you would need to change the lens instead of following content creators with clear intentions to demonise specific beliefs

Mosque over temples has so many examples. In India and most famously in Israel in Jerusalem, they’ve built a mosque over the remains of the Jewish temple. I don’t think a religion of peace would desecrate another man’s work for their own god.

My parents from Middle East and they moved after war so, I grew up in the church and thought that was the whole religion just going to church every Sunday and eventually stopped going and started to do my own thing. I wanted to find the purpose of life because I knew everything we worked for would pass away. I started looking into all the historical evidence of all the major religions unbiasedly and later on I had a tug on my heart to open up the Bible and saw the Jesus people talked about was completely different from what was in the Bible. I started to draw closer to the higher power and had a supernatural encounter with him and I felt his love and peace and was indescribable and overwhelming almost but was out of this world and everything looked brand new like it was the first time seeing it when I looked outside. His name is Jesus and I’m here to tell you it’s about a relationship not religion and he is real and did die on the cross for you willingly and thinks you as the only person and was thinking of you while dying. All we chase in this life is temporary think about your eternal life.

FUN FACT: it was absorbed into Christian liturgies as well (and they all pre-date Islam). When I was 12yr old that is the time I started wondering where did the rituals starts/copied since there are beliefs way long before Christianity. The communion is there from the new testament but the other rituals is not. It is hard to access books in the islands in the Philippines on early 90s regarding with that matter hahahaha so I just forget it all to until this day when some religious videos come into my recommended list.

As an Exmuslim from Makkah I’d like to correct some misinformation. Pre Islamic Arabia was not primitive and literature was an integral part of society. It is only painted as primitive by Muslims today, calling it the days of “Jahuliyah” (ignorance) to justify their bigotry when they destroyed our rich culture and history. Arabs from Makkah used to hang their poetry on the Kaaba to flex their linguistic prowess amongst each other and would often have poetry battles, that’s how important it was.

Indeed. We also know that the pre-Islamic Arabs were great poets who composed very long poems, and the Quran is composed in a similar style (which makes it easier to memorize). Many Muslims claim that no one can create verses like the Quran, yet the Arabs of Mecca made it clear that Muhammad's verses are nothing but tales of the ancients and called him a poet, so clearly they were not impressed.

I know a lot about pre-Islamic Arabs in Arabia, they were not ignorant and among them there were great men and poets of great ability. Grim The Ghastly yes, the Kaaba is an idol and so is the black stone set in the Kaaba. If you look at Leviticus 26:1 in the Torah (which is a considered an Islamic holy book ) the Kaaba fits description of an idol. According to Hadith The touching the Stone is one of the things by means of which Allaah expiates for sins. The below Hadith is considered a sound and part of Sunnah. See below. Hadith al-Tirmidhi, 959 It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “Touching them both [the Black Stone and al-Rukn al-Yamani] is an expiation for sins.” I thought only God could atone for sins! According to this Hadith the stone is made a god because it can forgive sins. If it is not a god then why does it forgive sins and why do people kiss and touch it? Kissing and touching this stone means you are venerating it. It seems clear that both Kaaba 🕋 and Black Stone are idols.

I’m no Islamic scholar, but ironically I was reading about the Kaaba today. The article said, that even though Isaac was to inherit Abraham’s covenant (i.e. the oath that God’s Chosen People will inherit the Promised Land), Abraham did pray for Ismael and God assured him that his first-born would also be the father of a great nation and so on. It’s hard to believe that after Sarah banished Hagar and her son, that Abraham (who was over 100 years old by this time) found the time to leave his people and travel to Mecca to build an odd cube with Ishmael. Like most stories in the Bible and the Quran, it makes no sense whatsoever. These are the manifest absurdities which made atheism a logical decision. It was man who wrote the scriptures, which means that man, in a world of limited scientific understanding, made these myths up to justify their own creation and to believe that life does not end after death. The found the perfect intermediaries in Jesus (except the Jewish people), and Muhammad to bring legitimacy to their claims that a direct relationship existed between an omniscient God and humanity.

Man did NOT write the Holy Bible. Almighty God told men what to write and they (like secretaries) wrote it down. Men did NOT author it. No one has ever disproved anything in the Holy Bible. In fact, history, archaeology, and the fulfilling of prophecy in the past 100 years solidly proves beyond any doubt that the Scriptures are trustworthy and true. BUT: if you have a closed mind and refuse to see, no amount of proof will ever be enough for you.

@Hamida Matin Hamida Matin The Tamils primarily speak Tamil (one of the oldest language). The Malayalis speak Malyali. The Nishi people speak Nishi Language. These languages don't have any link with Hindi, of Farsi, so? The speakers of these people also look different than other parts of Hindustan. How can a language be a proof that their area was not ruled by Hindustani Kings? The Mauryas Empire had ruled majority of the current Indian Subcontinent including Afghanistan.

@Hamida Matin Chandragupta Maurya conquered and ruled Afghanistan and Ashoka was a later ruler of Maurya Empire. The Maurya Empire had followed Jainism, Hinduism and Buddhism. Chandra Gupta Maurya was a Jain, and Ashoka was a jain who became Buddhist. Maurya Empire was an Indian originated Empire. Also, the Afghans and Hindustanis together fought against Mughals but they lost.
