The story of the Cartier Santos goes beyond the commission of the Dumont in 1904… In fact, not many know how the piece was re-introduced and popularized in the late 70s and 80s to make it the watch it is today.
In this video, we have one Carrée, ref. 2961, and two Galbées, a steel 987901 and two-tone moon phase Galbée ref 119901.

Carré looks better and it is NOT quartz. I will always chose à Carrée versus thé Galbée
