I've always struggled with this part, however I believe that after watching this, I may have found the answer, had G-d given the literal, that is that it took 6 Billion Years to create the world, then no one could celebrate shabbos, however G-d understands that we are finite creations and as such he reduced the 6 billion years into days, so that we could first and foremost understand his masterful creation more simply and more importantly that we would rest on shabbos. For G-d 6 billion years or 6 days makes no difference as he is infinite.

I heard also, that everything that God created, for example Trees, were already tall trees, or Man, looked like a grown man of 30 years in his first day of creation, so the first second after were created already looked like old creations, so with the universe the same , after the first second, the universe could look like billions years old,

Recent discovery by the James Webb telescope of two complete galaxies found were created in the earliest time period of the Universe ( which violates all current scientific theories of the big bang theory ) show that the Torah is correct. תודה רבה שלום

How is a day measured? The day starts at sundown and ends on following Sundown. Then how are days measured if the sun is not created on day one?

I am a theoretical physicist. I work with Einstein theory 6 days a week. I struggled with the literally biblical interpretation for a long time. My conclusion was "who am I to decide? Either the world of 6000 years or 14 billion, it doesn't matter. Either way there are still the mitzvot." Just yesterday I finished the book "Mind over Matter" a collection of letters written by the Rebbe. Then the first thing I see when I turn on my phone is a notification for this video. Thank you. The mental block I had is gone and I can see clearly the truth in Torah.

The rising and setting of the sun is caused by the rotation of Earth on its own axis and has nothing to do with whether the sun revolves around the earth or vice versa.

All celestial bodies move around the earth. By this, I mean, that the Lord has decreed that earth is the place where His purposes and plans, for humanity, are unfolded and come to their final culimation. So it can be said, accurately and scientifically, that earth is the center of the Cosmos. Of course, Heaven (the dwelling place of God Almighty) is the true and ultimate center of all things, but this exists above, around, through and beyond time and space so this is an entirely different issue.
