People gotta realize this game is also a story game, its not just hop on every update, do everything, then hop off and forget it. ToT follows a story, a story that we are going to flesh out over YEARS to come through different updates, areas, gyms, etc. Thing is most roblox games dont have story, so alot of people arent accustomed to it and instead want to just jump STRAIGHT into gameplay, when thats not necessarily the goal here. Stuff like PvP is 100% in our sights too btw, but you gotta realize our pvp system is like no other creature catching game system, its essentially just like pokemon showdown where you can customize your tanorians sets, moves, etc all for free and jump right into it, and something like that is our priority but is not going to be instantaneous. Either way this is a game for the community, always will be, and we are always going to be improving the game no matter what and listening to feedback.

My biggest problem I have with the game is how they handle bug reports. They need a ticketing system. Worse part is they close my bug reports and don't give me any update or status just straight delete. DM mod then mod tells me to dm lucky no response dm 2 devs no response and get ghosted on twitter with no response. Just a simple acknowledgment that you got my bug report and we are working on it. Lack of customer service they show will hurt the game in the long run.

I just started it and I like it tbh some bugs and quality of life issues but overall it’s pretty nice

I just wish it promoted exploration more through items, the routes are fairly linear (from what I’ve played) you cannot find items hidden around so no reason to look around, every npc I’ve talked to have not given a single item, instantly knew that talking to npcs was gonna be a waste of time. I haven’t played too far so maybe this all changes but this is from what I’ve played.

I wanna share something I experienced from their discord a while ago before they even allowed testers. I joined their server as soon as I heard they were recreating a pokemon like game. So I went in there, visit all the amazing channels, saw the fakemon channel, made a fakemon ( didnt win ), and then I drew my attention to the Moves Idea channel. I am a writer, I like writing and typing, so I knew imma write a lot of move ideas already. I made some ideas ( 3-10 per day ), and few people loved the idea, bur not enough to draw any of the main dev’s attention, just staff members. However one of the main staff named Mizu. He wanted to make a move idea because he saw me making so much a day. However i criticize his move because it was too op for a normal move ( a support move that heals/revives/buffs with no holdbacks ). He and me had some beef for a while, and then we went neutral. I later would make a 10 long lists of moves in a row no breaks several times because I was bored. Now everything was good, but the devs have one problem with me. I was chatting in moves idea, and that wasnt allowed. Firstly, I didnt start the argument, Mizu did and more of his friends too, and some other folks who likes to chat too. Look, sometimes I would have lovely compliments in that channel and it developed into a short chit chat, and I certainly dont want to go to the general chat where it is blasted with messages. Moves Idea channel was literally an abandoned channel that I revived ( a guy, lets call him rick, he posted a move, and i went on a break for 3 days, and after that, i went back and rick’s move idea was still the most recent one ). There shouldn’t be a issue to chat in an 99% abandoned channel. Couple weeks later, some guys would argue with me saying that I am bad at making moves and criticizing me for making moves and stuffs. Of course, I fend them off with rebuttals, but I was punished for chatting while the other guy was only banned for a week and was unbanned a few day later. Also, the server thought I was a girl because I have a purple color name ( u chose ur gender and the name color shows what gender u r, however i told everyone that I just want the color for cosmetic and to not mistake me for a girl ). I kept chatting more on the server, which by now gain some more newcomers to make more ideas. A guy complained to the creator of ToT, and he banned me from the server ( before I was banned, the critics and people who generally doesnt like me for what I did for the move idea channel, cheered and celebrated for my ban ). I then had a lovely chat with the owner and called him out for bad management and development. I even said that the game is gonna die if he keeps up being like this ( arrogant, ignorant, and blatantly dumb ). Few months later, I made an alt to see how the server is doing, ofc everything was the same ( obnoxious). However the moves idea channel was now changed to just idea channel, and its so bad, you post your idea thread and you would have to click on that thread to see everything. And it would be still because its dead channel. The channel isn’t that dead but it looked depressing af. There is no soul to the ideas anymore, no chatting, just a boring server now. The latest idea was a week ago. Back to the present, ToT is released, and I said to my friend, “the moves are not from the users who made them, the devs made them with their own idea” and “the game prolly gonna die in a few days”, and then it happened, game is buggy, game is cringy, game is worser than PBB, and its almost dead, did worser than Loomian Legacy. This was both painful and satisfying to watch as it pains me that the effort i put into those ideas was gone, but the sweet taste of revenge that the game is ded and that ignorant owner deserved it, all of it. Welp thats it, have a good day to ya’ll who actually read this.

honestly im enjoying it either way, sure theres bugs here and there but overall its actually pretty fun and looking foreward for updates for it.

AGZ tell the game devs to UPDATE THE ANIMATIONS

I just wish the visuals were better, I went in knowing they werent going to be good but it really sucks when turn based games have bad visuals.

I took my sweet, sweet time with this game. Captured almost all of the released tanorians, and I gotta say it’s quite great. though I can’t see myself shiny hunting forever… and the hate is definitely justified

I think TOT has some serious potential, and it has lots of stuff I like about the game. I like the music, the Graphics, and I know I am in the minority, but I liked the voice acting. I used to like the story, but on rewatch, I thought it was just okay. I feel like TOT is a 7/10 game if they can fix the bugs. The bugs are definitely the biggest flaw about the game, and while bugs are starting to get squashed, the game is still in a buggy state. It can definitely be a great game after a few updates, get the serious bugs fixed, fix a few of fhe menu UIs, and polish up some of the models, and TOT will be a great game, but as of now, I still think Loomian Legacy and Doodle World are the kings in terms of creature capturing games on roblox.

I like the models of the tanorians but you can’t lie the amount of bugs is insane. Especially since the game was delayed for a month

@@nougreshibi561I’ve played for over 60 hours and I haven’t had *nearly* as much bugs as release. You aren’t wrong though, there still are bugs. However, the upcoming patch is said to fix a TON of them & add QOL features.

I think it's fair to criticize the game for its faults and the devs are doing a good job of addressing them and asking people about different things they want added. But overall, the game is still good, and just because you might be mad it had bugs, doesn't mean you should flat out hate the game. Also props to the game anyways because it's still been sitting at a good 8 - 10k players so far so yeah.

I like the game but I was deeply under the impression that it would have been better than loomian, which content on release wise sure it's better, but potions being percentage based, the bugs were too brutal to just simply ignore, MY FRIEND LITERALLY ENCOUNTERED A SHINY AND THEY COULDNT CATCH IT THE GAME WOULDNT ALLOW THEM TO ACCESS ANY OPTION EXCEPT ATTACK. With how the trailers were talking about the mega evolutions, I assumed that we would have it in game on release from how they were showing it to me atm the game is a 6/10 mainly for bugs and lack of other things

finished tales of tanario, max, and evo all my pokemon, and just my honest opinon game is just a bit underwhelming right now for the multiple delays. Story just didn't hit for me, battles were just a bit too easy too be honest, and the game I don't know just doesn't feel right with me. I enjoyed pocket anime however and that's really the only creature capturing game that hypes me up can't wait for phase 2

The only reason I quite the game was because of the long and unskipable cutscenes

The amount of effort they're putting into making this game is honestly pretty admirable. If this were gpo the first state of the game we had on release would be the version we still have today with a "Upcoming update later" in the announcements of their discord server. They clearly want this game to succeed and function.

I think if the game just got some bug fixes, trading and pvp aswell as mini content updates people will stop yapping

I loved the game, I almost have a complete dex, and got some shinies as well, but I can'r deny the fact that the bugs on the first day was INSANE.But I'm glad that the devs have been fixing a ton of bugs after release, but it still almost damaged the way i looked that the game.

The only reason i quite the game was if u get close to pokemons you have to fight them and i dont want fight pokemons 24/7

Tales of Textario is the popular name And once you beat the available content, it's a shiny hunt simulator. People were extremely upset because servers would go down with no warning. And when they did add the warnings, it was unexpected and people weren't looking at chat for it, so again, unexpected loss of encounters like legendary and shinies they were in the middle of. People in the discord can be super toxic too. Some people were being absolutely roasted for no reason simply for asking for an option to disable music ("Just turn off your sound on your computer!") kinda stuff. I like the game but eh. Kids have short tempers sometimes

I’m so confused has no one played a pokemon game before? This game had barely any dialogue compared to some of the tutorials of pokemon games

For me biggest issue about cutscenes are trash animations

From what I’ve seen people complain about and compliment, I’ve got Pros: 1: its a unique game compared to 99% of the games were getting nowadays 2: the models and map are well made 3: theres an actual story to it (only seem once in a blue moon on roblox) 4: the combat seems fairly indepth (im not a pokemon expert, but it seems fine) Cons 1: bugs, so many bugs (cant even use mounts without risking clipping through the map) 2: dialog, apparently?? (Gen z attention span is crazy) 3: no pvp, kinda crazy 4: not an insane amount of content, but can easily get more 5: no trading (minor, but i know people fiend for some things) In conclusion, a good game with some bugs, and some well needed content, but a game that can easily fix those issues and become a great game. Also this is a peak example on why most games NEED a stress test, no matter how finished the game seems.

Honestly trading and battle should've been out on release. They got pressured but that was their fault for making multiple delays. There's nothing to really do except shiny hunt or flowither hunt wich gets boring. Also my unique points on my mons went way up and my effort points got reduced to 0 and I have no idea why
