with the permission from narrow gauge, I decided to make a small remake that was based on his audio story of the truth about scrap, which was part of his series of horror fo the rails 3. so the story takes place when James takes a goods train to a small station in the country side not that far from barrow-in-furness. but when he was being refilled on coal and water, he'll discover a terrible truth that he had thought about over the last few years.
anyway, all content belong to their respectful owners.

at 7:22, i forgot to let you know that scene is where Sidney was at the other end of the line of the class 08 shunters along side diesel.

Wow, talk about a reversal of "The Spectre's Warning" You could even hear the sadness and heartbreak in his whistle at the end As for Diesel, i agree... Scrap is far too harsh a punishment 😢😭

So true so many class 08 Shuntters have been scrapped so I feel bad for all those diesel shuntters .

while i sometimes think replacing the old may be for the best, wouldn't it be better if the old designs worked alongside the new rather than getting rid them completely altogether?
I’m not a Diesel fan but, MY LORD THIS IS DEEP! And that frame at 8:59 made me feel sorry for the diesels.

LMS stands for the London, Midlands and Scottish railway, it was a railway that rivaled the LNER (London and North Eastern Railway) before all the seperate railways were brought together to form British Railways
