10 meters by 10 meters for the most dense plantings. The density of the planting controls density of the wood. So it depends on the intent of the wood at harvest.

By gum, these trees will put my town on the map.

Exist more trees which growing up verry queeqly in more less time time than paulonia tree. Here where I living, when I muved from November 2018, it was a small tree on 150 cm and now in November 2020 it is more big, on 5 time than before, I don't know how is calling, but now after 2 years is to early to reach on others 2 trees from his back

viorellaleo could you expand? There are concepts of planting these trees en mass in the deserts where there is rainfall and easy access to aquifers using species of tree like eucalyptus or poplar but paulownia for biomass power stations seems interesting. Interestingly enough there isn’t much data on soil degradation...

I have a pine plantation in Alabama (united states). There is much low land that stays wet year round. When you say "drains the soil" do you mean sucks up the water? That is what I am looking for, a tree that drains the water out of the low places.

@@tmo4330 Im planting it in my kennel area to provide shade for my dogs. I don't care if it takes nutrients, heaps of compost. I just need something that can survive my dogs.
