Boob jobs are a life long commitment. You have to get them redone all the time and that’s even if they don’t leak or move. Scar tissue build up is also a huge problem

You can get silicone implants through the armpit (transaxillary). They use a device called a keller funnel, which looks like a pastry bag, to place the implants. Also, if there is nothing wrong with the implants and you are happy with the way they look, you don't have to change them every 10 years. Considering you said that they are a little displaced it would be good to have a revision surgery! They have awesome new cohesive implants that are filled with more silicone to prevent any rippling and create more upper pole fullness! Cant wait to hear about your revision!

So you had the initial surgery at 18. And then had them redone twice. So you had them redone about every 12 years instead of 10. I’d personally want to get new ones instead of waiting for something bad to happen. Because it can happen very slowly before you have complications. I used to be in charge of release of information at a hospital and the requests for the records for implant surgeries for legal reasons were too often. I mean it’s the same with dental crowns or veneers. Which is so insane to me. My controversial opinion is that having an acceptable level of self esteem is more important than people realize so the insane price point of these procedures and lack of insurance coverage blows my mind. Thankfully breast surgery can be considered gender affirming care, but that’s a small percentage of the patients that need them for their mental stability. I’m saying this as someone that developed asymmetry from medical malpractice after having naturally even symmetrical breasts I was perfectly happy with and the fact that I would have to pay to correct something that I had no control over-and shouldn’t have happened-is WiLD to me. Thousands. A surgeon once offered me a discount of $2,000. Still couldn’t afford it.

A lot depends on your skin elasticity and not getting them too large. Then the skin is stretched so far and you get the beach ball effect. Also, I used to have very large natural breasts. Shopping for tops and dresses was so difficult. I got a reduction to be a C cup and I’m so happy. When people are an A cup or small B and go for DD and over it’s more risky. And always ask for photos of women with similar breasts to yours before and afters and to make sure they’re surgeons that specialize in breast augmentation. In the States and doctor can perform surgery. In Canada it’s years more of school and they can only operate in their specialized area. Don’t be afraid to ask for credentials. And if the price is too good, run out the door! All the best doctor shopping for your new breasts ❤.

Usually the care aids change the residents but we were short staffed and I was helping out. I had no idea what was going on when I changed her and got scared, thought she had some unreported tumor or growths because none of this was in her med history. @@tearleserephI think their point is pretty obvious. The surgical technology used for implants and almost all other cosmetic procedures has advanced by leaps and bounds since the time period when that patient would likely have had her surgery performed. One elderly patient with poorly done implants doesn’t equate to all modern women with implants becoming disfigured in old age. Beyond that, I personally am not overly concerned about what my breasts will look like when I’m 80 and in a care home with dementia lol.

My implant story: I had silicone (only kind they had in 1982), when I was 22. Loved them until I got sick 14 yrs later. Dr. had said I could breastfeed and they’d last forever. WRONG! I had them for 15 yrs, was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus after 3 yrs of testing for other diseases. Had them removed. They were 350cc over the muscle (didn’t do under muscle back then), were done at bottom of areaola, lost all feeling, except nerve pain when nips touched. When removed, right one had leaked 50 cc’s of silicone into my breast tissue. Both had condensation on them. Found out then, they’re only meant to last 10 yrs. so mine were 5 yrs on borrowed time. Right breast had more tissue removed due to silicone everywhere. Needed drain tubes for 2 weeks (not fun), and the nerve pain still exists 42 yrs later. Wished I’d never had them. Girls, your boobs naturally get bigger when pregnant and breastfeeding (although I couldn’t thx to implants/nerve pain). Better save for new ones every 10 yrs, too and if getting silicone, get the solid, not gel.

What about TUBA argumentation? Through the belly button? I heard it’s very efficient and precise and without “scars”. I haven’t had mine done, but maybe some day when they sag or if they sag 😂

If you have any sagging...they will need to do a lift..unfortunately you will have to have the breast tissue/skin removed to do it...depending on sagging, will determine the type of procedure/cuts they do to your breasts. Typically anchor or lollipop.

They do look real and beautiful. Lucky. You are correct about it being a pain. Every tennish years really flies by so fast when you are talking surgery. Every 10ish years of major recovery, hard massaging .. maintenance. My GF had hers done in the 90s. Can't believe its 2023. She's looking at surgery at near 70. It's almost ridiculous to implant at this age. Her mom is almost 100 years old. Longevity in her family means she may be on the table at 90. It's laughable... But she refuses to do an explant in her 60s even though they've hardened... Again.

She is WRONG!! You CAN get silicone through the armpits. I have them and went through the armpits. Not sure who told her that. I have zero scars on my breasts and no concern for losing nipple sensitivity.

There is also a 3rd way. Mine were done in 2009 and they put them under the muscle but I have a TINY (maybe 3/4”) scar underneath on the seam underboob. Doc did such a good job, the seam is almost completely invisible. I had 350ccs to get to a C, then gained 40lbs (I’m now 5’8” and 155, still good)…they are now a DD from real boob growth! I should have just gained a little weight instead of paying $6000!!!!

Also, mine are saline and 14 years in they are still great. Likely because my real boob is now bigger than the implant and you can barely even find them in there.

Absolutely no hate they look amazing and do what you want to do, but I do have a question, if you know they have to be redone every 10 years and you’re saying now that you don’t want to be getting them redone in your 60s and 80s why not just get them removed rather than getting them redone? Or is that something you plan to do around the age of like 40 when you get them redone again? Genuine curiosity, you could get them big enough to float you &2 friends down the stream and you would still be hilarious which is all I care about.😂❤
