After I got saved, I started and continue to get a stronger relationship with God everything got and is getting better. My thinking, my relationships with people, my life and I have someone who I can rely on which is God. Romans 10:9-11 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Pray this prayer( the prayer doesn't get u to heaven but believing with ur whole heart does). Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that I deserve hell. I realize that you died in the cross and shed ur blood to save me. Please forgive me for my sins and come into my heart and save me now. I am trusting in you only for my eternal salvation. Please help me now that I am saved to serve u faithfully. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen. If u have questions ask me or call this church (two zero four)-325-5670.

@@SeunOkimi Your mom is incredible and I love your hair girl, just subscribed💖 Make sure you twist up your hair or band your hair with scrunchies before you go to bed or your hair will be dry in the morning. On wash day you’ll get tangles so moisturize your afro AT LEAST every 3 days. How to moisturize on the daily: At night use a refresher spray, hair butter, and an oil if the hair is extra dry plaiting up the hair and twirl the ends. In the morning use a hair sheen oil and edge control, so you can unravel the twist so your hair doesn’t frizz up(LCO/L.O.C. method). Also never use a rinse out conditioner as a cowash or leave-in conditioner unless the bottle says so, you can get product buildup if you leave rinse-out conditioners in your hair. Hope these tips help, I’m rooting for you on this new natural hair journey👍🏾 Pro tip on vlogs: Make the video no longer than 15 minutes if it’s long make a part 2 to your video.

I feel as a natural haired woman I noticed how much more I spend on hair products now versus when I was relaxed. The beginning of the road was rough and it took years for me to get the right products and regimen. The key for me was finding the right KZread videos of a person who had the same hair type of me and had healthy results. From the youtuber I learned care, products, and styles and protective. I am not mentioning her because like I said find a KZread with positive results with your same hair type is key. For the first three years after my big chop I wore cornrows with a wig until I like my length. Then I started styling it and doing protective styles with my hair out. That’s when I learned to really take care of it because it wasn’t hidden. Never give up because you are inspiring others to change and not be hidden. YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL AS ALWAYS! For your big chop your length and health is applaudible! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Enjoy it all the up and downs.Tears and smiles because it’s accepting yourself and it’s freeing in a sense. You get to see the hair God gave you and learn to love it therefore love yourself. Btw your mom is so sweet! Thank you for sharing your journey!

Your smile is everything and your hair is beautiful!!! Just a note for you love, I know the shrinkage is real but water is the best moisture for our hair. You can use oil but use it to seal in the water/moisture. The dryer your hair is the higher risk of breakage you will have.

There are so many different reactions during a person's big chop, it's amazing. Some are sad and some are super excited. I big chopped my relaxed hair when it hit tailbone length. That was 17 months ago. Until this day I do not miss it one bit. I don't care for my natural hair either though but I don't miss getting relaxers or that long of a length either. So weird...

The trimming is necessary, but don't stress urself. For me I haven't trimmed my hair since my big chop and it's been 10 months(bad right?🙈😂). But recently the growth has been marvelous. So yh...

I love how I can relate to your hair struggles so much. I have thick 4c so I’m almost always considering relaxing it. Use lighter conditioners. Cantu and Shea moisture aren’t for low porosity. This is my 3rd attempt

Hi Seun, you are amazing and your hair will always be your crown, long, short, relaxed or natural. Anyhoo for the dark spots are breakouts, try a gentle salicylic acid face wash like Inkey List and follow up with either a glycolic acid lotion or toner below 10% or a lactic acid like The Ordinary. Always wear an SPF afterwards as it will help fade the spots as well. I had a similar issue and now I can go without foundation if I want. Good luck!

Cosmetics and personal care products are often hella expensive, often if they have more natural, healthier ingredients like shea butter, essential oils, etc. As long as they don't put anything that is damaging or bad for us in with the good ingredients then they're often the better option if they're quality enough to use less. I'm loving the curls and new content information :)

Hey Seun... i’m waaay older (Lol) but I live for your content. I’ve always had pretty good hair (relaxed) and it was actually the envy of a lot of people, till I met you (I know you in my mind. Lol) and realized I was a joker. Haha. Just having a different mindset about protective styling made my hair grow even longer when I thought I was at that length “it doesn’t grow past” Fast forward last year, with the whole lock down, working from home and literally not going anywhere, my hair fast became a mess, and they I spontaneously did a big chop the night of the #endsars toll gate shooting. I thought I was loosing my mind that night and I didn’t know when I grabbed a scissors and just went in... my undergrowth wasn’t a lot, so it was just very short relaxed hair. I’ve been trimming and trimming every now and then to try to get the last of the relaxed bit off, so I totally get when you absolutely did not want the relaxed ends. Your hair’s longer than mine now, but i’m nonetheless excited that you cut it and I literally have you to look to (and at) for my own natural hair journey. I would really love to see how well I can take care of it and how long I can grow it out within a time frame. ❤️❤️❤️

I don't know who is speaking in the video! I must say I will be 50 this year and I have worked in Higher Education for most of my life. I started when I was in my early 20's, and the more I educated myself in my field the more I BECAME the expert in the office, the more confident I BECAME! The more people looked to me for direction and the more I showed up as myself!!! Most of the people I worked with over the years loved me for my work ethic, professionalism and friendly disposition!!! The Disagreeables fueled my desire to become even more of an authority!! So ladies and gentlemen just keep growing, keep educating yourself in your chosen field keep being your best and believe your gifts will make room for you!! Seun you hair journey past and current is something that I am always checking for now cause I love your energy and fearlessness!!! Not getting tiktok though, I don't have enough time in the day to keep up. However, we appreciate you sharing your journey and that beautiful smile with us!! Your gift is making room for you!
