I completely understand how this feels, because when I was out of college, people assumed I was in high school. I had a very young face. At the time I felt like it was a disadvantage, but one valuable thought I kept in mind was that “people stick needles in their faces to look like me.” Those trolls are just jealous of your youth and how pretty you are.

I got comments like that a lot and when I was in my teens and early 20s it kind of bothered me. But I'm almost 40 now and the HVAC guy asked me if I went to middle school with his 20 year old daughter (he met my mom who is a teacher and realized she taught his daughter). Several years ago I also had a lady tell me one time when I was buying pull ups or something that I didn't look old enough to have kids. I told her thank you for making my day because I found gray hair that day lol

I have always looked young for my age and now I'm 59 everyone who meets me thinks I'm in my 40s. It's awesome, I hope you will experience the same.

You're channel is awesome. Loved the new pool bit. And your short reels are really original. I'm 70, and 4 yrs late to this comment, but I always looked super young too. It was a blessing. I would still have 20 yr olds hit on me when I was into my late 30's and early 40's. It wasn't till I had a kid a 42 did I start to show my age. Kids will do that. But even at 70, most guess my age at mid 50's.

Haha we were opposite, then age made us the same.. I was 6"2 at 14, and didn't stop growing til 25ish - was carded up until then too (baby face apparently)..Then, come late 30s male pattern baldness sets in, and I def look my age now, probably older lol. Would MUCH rather go grey than (partially) bald.

just found your channel and quite enjoy the find. The drumroll segment at 3:32 reminded me a lot of my stepbrother which I found funny and then sad as I haven't seen him in about 4 years :( I don't have a story of being mistaken for how old I am, but I do remember mistaking a 13-year-old for nearly 20... he had a smooth deep voice, a thick and full jet-black beard, and was rather tall already. I made a joke about how kids are hitting puberty way too early as he could pass for someone in their early 20s

I was served alcohol in a restaurant when I was 18 while out with a friend and my sister. She asked for a non-alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiri and I said, "I'll have a Strawberry Daiqueri as well." The waiter left, I told her I'll bet I get alcohol in mine. I did. I guzzled it as the legal age is 21 in NYS and didn't want the waiter to get in trouble. I told my father a few days later to which he said, "well you don't look 21." That was 26 yrs ago. That still hurts.

It's actually a really good thing she looks like a teenager.. when she gets old, she will look A LOT younger.

okay, so. first, there's absolutely any matter how old you look, you are fine by that. second, it's usual that people might miscalculate age by your look. and lastly, age can never be revealed by look. in addition, we are all unique, there's no one just like us. It's possible to be very like same, but never fully same.

As I grew, I went through different stages of being thought younger than I was. In my mid-to-late teens, people thought I was 12. After I left college, people thought I was in high school. Now many people think I am my father's grandson.

I know the feeling, no one ever gets my age. They keep saying ten to twenty years younger than I am. Side note: I almost typed 'no one' with no space... Noone must now be a thing.

It'll hold you in good stead in the future, the younger you're imagined to be is more of a compliment than an insult, if anyone had got your age right or thought you were older, you'd have something to worry about because it means that when you do get older you'll feel old and wish you were 21 again (and even looking young at that) you'll get it in your mid forties to early fifties perhaps, plus you won't have to follow the insecure trend of wanting a face life as quick, you're blessed girl, waken up and smell the teen spirit!

I am 38 years young. Most people say I like about 27. I never smoked or drank alcohol excessively. I’ve been hitting the gym pretty hard for about a year and a half. Actually learning how to enjoy life day by day. I’ve got plans to go sky diving and bungee jumping in the summer time of 2024. I might even take a trip to the states, Nevada. I’ll see how that goes.

When I was like 13, people thought I was 30, now that I'm almost 32, I pretty much look the same but in worse shape, hairier, with less acne and more depression. Edit: To be fair, I was basically done growing(5'6"), had facial hair if I didn't shave it, and people regularly asked if I was on steroids... I wasn't, but people can't comprehend that a 13 year old could be in decent shape, I guess?

When I was in my mid 20s, people though I was a teenager. Back then, there was one day when a person who I never met before was talking to me and asked me how old I was (I was about 25 or 26) and he were shocked when I told them my age. He thought I was between 16-18 years old. I am now in my mid 30s and still don't look my age. I have always had a slighter higher voice than some guys my age so that might add to the confusion when I talk to someone for the first time. When I was in my late 20s in college, a woman around my age came up to me and said hello and asked if I remembered her, which I didn't at first. It was someone I knew from school when we were 10 and she had changed a lot in looks since I last saw her and I didn't recognise her. She recognised me and said I hadn't changed much in looks, besides getting taller and gaining weight since then. My dad was similar. Before his hair started turning grey when he was 28, he told me he was often being mistaken for being younger and even in his mid 20s, he had to show ID when going into bars.

Don't worry. I had and maybe I still have the same kind of "problem" (if I may call it that way as someone else might consider it to be a gift actually). I don't know what to think about it. I guess everything has two sides of the coin. People frequently tell me I look younger than I really am. When I was around 30, people would be surprised and would tell me I looked like a 23-year-old. I've basically accepted this fact and now I'm trying to make the most of it no matter how it may sound to some people.

You are truly funny...deserves a sub for sure. Can't wait to watch more.

When I was in my teens (now 54 years old) people thought I was in my upper twenties because I have thick facial hair and often wear a beard. You are right, people are horrible guessing individuals age. It is for that reason I have never verbally guessed anyone's age, knowing I would probably fail miserably at it. But if I keep my mouth shut and only think it, I won't look like a fool. 😇

I was guessed as 16 when I was 13. Apparently the local news paper was talking about an event I was helping with and they took a picture of me without my knowledge. I get that I was tall, (I think I was somewhere around 5ft 6in-5ft 9in) but that's a three year difference. I am 17 now and still have people telling me they thought I was way older before I told them my actual age. I think it may still be because I'm tall (at least one person told me that was why. I'm currently around 6ft 2in-6ft 3in.)

Never graduate before your age/early from college/university.. we had a 21 year old student in out postgraduate diploma course at a wine school in Switzerland, and we were all like 32-35 .. even though he was intelligent his thought process was simply not mature enough to respect hospitality, manners or wine.

Many people are unrecognizable if you compare their adult faces with how they looked in highschool. Then there are people who retain most of their youthful features they had in highschool, in adult life. Example (you probably never heard of her), look up 'Dr Who Lalla Ward.' She looked like 17 but she was almost 30 when she starred in the Dr Who tv-series.

This video popped up on my recommended somehow. And I get the same exact thing. People constantly think im 16 / 17. sometimes 15. But I'm actually 26 in a few months.
