I am a highly introvert guy (INTP personality type) and i have done my Graduation in BA from Univ of Pune and currently pursuing MBA externally & niw gonna be filling up form before 30th June 2023.. for Second year MBA and had not decided the Specialization yet so confused.. i have options in 2nd year MBA like - HR mgmt, Marketing, Finance, Enterpreneurship, Project Mgmt, Int Business Mgmt, Operations&Supply Chain Mgmt, Business Analytics.. My personality type suggests Business Analytics however i am not a BCA or BTech degree Background guy with core coding knowledge.. i had did web development diploma but didn't work for me as was not graduate when i completed it and thus the salary package was 7k p.m as compared to 35k which i get in current BPO profile as in the Motor Insurance sector.. i understand minimal coding though.. but just the thing is i need to select one specialization i was thinking of project management, Int business, Supply chain logistics or Maybe Data analytics... also consider the fact that its a external education via live video classes.. & i dont like sales, too much accounting and would preffer working Individually rateher then socialized kind of work.. what do u suggest.. which specialization is best for me!?? In RIASEC TEST I was highest in I and then C and then A which i s Investigative Conventional and Artistic... What do u suggest!!??

Yes, I have worked in Supply chain department in Skoda Volkswagen, My senior manager and general manger were both have done MBA in Operations. Also i know many other people with same background, but i guess in Automobile Industry salary wont be that great.But yes looking at the Market if you go into Software and EV technology you have better scope.

This time partially correct not complete... Let me tell you ..if you are an engineer and specially from mechanical then its easy for you to opt operations else it might be difficult and boring for you to read operations subject bcz it contains lots of mechanical engineering concepts.. Now talking about roles ... I did my mba from IIFT delhi and did internship with FAANG company as a operation consultant ...let me tell you bahut saare roles hote hai like .. Resources planner, HR operations, supply chain consultant in IT , Sap consultant, Pre sales , category manager, bank operation manager, Logistics manager, trade manager & port manager ( only for IIFTians...in olam, Cargill,ADM 😅) , capacity manager and lots of role . But the drawback is ... Location ...u will get very remote location sometime if you in a manufacturing or with FMCG company..and job switch is also difficult bcz operations vary from company to company ... operations is never same for each company in a particular industry like ops for HUL is different from PepsiCo. Salary hike is not great..u will get initial package but not a good salary hike going forward... Ranking of the college is also not correct. NITIE tops So my ranking is - NITIE SJ mehta Sp Jain SIOM- nasik DMS IIT delhi( if you want IIT tag and low fee) GEP is i agree for operation but work culture is pathetic and they will ask you to work from mumbai and for which salary is not as great as location ..due to high cost . I have total 5 yrs of exp working as a management consultant with an IT firm ...did my MBA from IIFT delhi so based upon my exp and industry exposure i am telling this
