Good drama

Can’t believe someone would willingly have plastic surgery to look older. But whatever this drama literally defies the laws of nature already 💀

The story is basically villain vs villain. If you look at the main casting, the role of lee hwi so and bang da mi were only very little or merely supporting characters only. The death of bang dami is just the preview of how K is evil and crazy. Meanwhile the 6 who were also villains, I will exclude min do hyuk as a villain but all of them, were being used by much more powerful one which is K.

that why the title is escape of the seven not justice for Dami also it like a better characteristization of the squid game character 7 escape it reminds me of Squid Game since the beginning

i honestly saw it coming, joo dan tae? a good character? too good to be true, after all i still can’t recover from the penthouse yet lol. every impossible thing is possible now, these plot twists are crazyyy. can’t wait to see how it’ll end. ❤

Ma man is such a dedicated villian he even went through a whole as& surgery to change his entire face which aged him 20+ yrs just to wreak havoc and make other's life miserable lmao 😂

Everyone is not understanding that the title of this drama is “ Escape of the Seven “(not da mi revenge )means all seven has to escape from both k and lee hwi so. The story is about every character taking revenge with each other for a particular reason. storyline started with da mi doesn’t means the whole drama is based on that.

Yes we understood that it's 7 escape and not Dami Revenge but the story of these 7 only started with Dami and people started to watch this for her father getting Revenge for Dami.. but if they are only capable of doing stories like penthouse again and again then viewers won't get excited for those stories always..

@@RAPHA-12 Well in Penthouse, all of Seol Ah's bullies and tormentors got redeemed and got happy ending in the end even though they ruined her life, bullied her to death, and make her life a living hell. But despite that people still watch that drama. So the writer is just repeating what she had always do in her dramas. Make the villian the main charcaters and showed their past & redeem them. I don't really care how this drama ends but I just find it so hypocrital that people who loves Seokkyung (literal counterpart of Mone) who is the master bully of Seol Ah and torture so many students and even try to burn Seol Ah alive defended SK to death before but is now mad Mone is getting SK treatment by the writer when technically Mone suffer more than SK ever did in Penthouse & SK is even more evil as she tortured Seol Ah for fun while Mone atleast framed Dami so she can survive & not just for the fun of it. 🤣🤣🤣

K punishment should be far more harsh than his victims got😢😢😢

I knew it was too good to be true to see joo dan tae good character and I trusted him and he got me the best way I really loved the twist because we love the villain and he’s good at it I really gave this show the biggest plot twist of the year hands down

So, I see a lot of people hating this twist on twitter and on here but honestly, it makes it all even more interested. For anyone who's confused. Lee Hwi So is alive. Sim Junseok was the one who had plastic surgery, so Sim Jun Seok is Matthew. Hence, he's the real K. In ep 13, he calls the secretary "dad" which clears the confusion and he wants to kill Min Do Hyuk, because Do Hyuk is the real son of the CEO of Sungchan group. They were switched at birth by that a**hole of a secretary.

How does it make it more interesting; I'm genuinely intrigued. Because we watched 14 episodes to see Mathew avenge Band Dami and take revenge from K, him being K just throws the storyline away. Plus, I'm confused as to why he is torturing the other six when all he wants to do is kill Min Do Hyuk, it's fairly easy for him to do so, so the whole story is nothing atp.

@@HibaChaudhry K is a psychopath who loves games. I bet him torturing the 7 is just a playtime for him. For fun. He doesn’t actually want them dead but because he needs to pretend to be Lee Hwi So who is taking so-called revenge against these 7 for Dami so ofcourse he needed to act the part hence he had been taking revenge. Now that K’s cover is blown, I doubt he’ll really go after the 7 now. He will used them but won’t really go through the revenge plan or whatever. He’ll focus on Dohyuk. The 7 will probably unite at some point to take him down. We only have 3 episode left to end Season 1 anyway. Kitak & the real Lee Hwi So will probably return only in the last episode of S1 & they’ll be main players for Season 2. S1 is all about the ‘escape of the 7’ against K! The posters & other promos before also showed that.

This drama became a fantasy😅.it is already too much for me

I understand that twists are necessary in a drama, but forced twists are a mehh for me. Was following this drama from first release until the day before, till ep 13 was released, the moment he was revealed as Mathew I stopped watching the episode. Not gonna follow this anymore and regretting those 12 hours I wasted watching this. To the writers, I wanna say that the twists are good, but if you try to bring the GoT twists effect to a drama like this, it won't be well received.

And they ruined that with a single twist that's where I got annoyed and frustrated 😠

I love this twist! Um Ki Joon is incredibly good at playing villains. He managed to play K entirely differently from Joo Dan Tae. His voice, body language, etc. are very different, and he was able to create a really multi-faceted character. If we think about it, he played Shim Joon Seok/K pretending to be Lee Hwi So pretending to be Matthew. You have to admit that is amazing! He is an acting genius! For me the drama became even better from episode 12. I am looking forward to Season 2. ❤

This drama gives me brain deficiency the longer it goes on, I'm actually surprised it hasn't been suspended when dramas have been suspended for less bizarre plotlines.

I Love this twist only problem is the masks like wtf you didnt need to make it that fake.

When I known that it was by the same writer as the penthouse, with the return of some of the penthouse cast. I already low my expectations for smooth sailing 😂😂.

Nahh I’m still not over this ngl. I was sooo disappointed cuz like wtf?? Then there’s the betrayal of Ki-Tak by his men…one of the many heartbreaking scenes cuz I really thought money couldn’t buy their loyalty smh

I agree that was a good twist and Uhn ki joon is a great actor but you should have casted the villian considering their age too. Kim do hoon as K was amazing and hot to be honest. Uhm ki joon is great and i really liked him as villian and you could have given him some other role but no matter good his acting was it didn't fit in. A man in his 40s cannot fit in the image of a man in his 20s. This was the only problem in this drama and a suggestion for future season too that Uhm ki joon is the best choice for villian but not a man in his 20s. Secondly Han bo reun who played paeng hee is seriously so good seriously want a drama as female lead.

Some of you are saying its disappointing. I understand. But this is done by Penthouse makers. This type of kdrama is meant to have illogic, unreal twists & turns with lots of chaos. There are set of people who are enjoying that without analyzing much about logic because these type kdramas comes once in a blue moon. And i somehow enjoy this too 😅. If you want full logical, real kdramas which makes sense, you can watch Mouse, Flower of Evil, etc... if you have already watched those, wait for a new mystery thriller kdrama to release & for now, stop scolding its writer. EOT7 fighting!!! 😌

What a dumb stunt by the writer. It made me lose interest in the show. The plot twist has to be logical. You cannot pull off any random stunt and call it a plot twist. This is why Vincenzo will always remain superior when it comes to thrillers and plot twists because each time there was a plot twist it was logical.

Matthew/K is basically everyone's biological father. He is his father's biological father. He is also your father. He just wants to be "best dad". There I have written a better story. There I saved everyone HOURS of their lives. You are welcome. Its REALLY the worst, and don't worry it even has an upcoming season 2, SBS will bump schedule for Kim Sun-Ok's drama above everything else that's worthy of attention. Thanks SBS for delaying The Killing Vote 👏🏽 and keeping this regular!

Michelle is just as bad and you’re cheering for her?! LOL This girl agreed to frame her younger sister for the murder she committed. She then left the said younger sister to go to the US to study and for 12 YEARS she did not care for the said sister. She was rich, successful & famous but she never once come home to help her sister. She never even send her money or help her. Jia is living alone in a small apartment paid by the money Mone gave her for her songs. Now tell me what right do Michelle have to avenge her sister when she is the main reason Jia suffered?! When she never cared for Jia when she was still alive?! She only came home when she is dead. LOL Even Mone who is a bad person still gave money & took care for her mom & abusive brothers before but Michelle just threw away and did not care for the younger sister who was framed for her crime! Please! She’s enjoying her life & success abroad while her sister suffer!

I just waste my time here.. I will not recommend this drama series.. Bang dami and her granfather has no justice.. Those seven deserves punishment
