Can't wait to see Charlie woods in PGA tour in future and how he does in high school golf and college golf!!

Imagine your dad is the best ever and not only do you have his genes he then also trains you and passes down all the knowledge he’s learned through his career. This kid is going to be a force to be reckoned with in a few years.

Likely true. The question is how he'll handle the immense pressure that comes with it, the media, the expectations, etc. His father can help with that I'd bet.

And also the fact that he hasn’t even hit a growth spurt. As soon as he hits that and Tiger gets him in the weight room he’s gonna be a real stud. His swing is flawless. The way he handled the pressure at the PNC was impressive as well. Charlie will be a stud, as long as that’s what he wants. I respect Tiger for sitting back and just letting Charlie make his own path and not forcing him to play. It seems Charlie loves the game and probably just wants to make his dad proud!

It’s highly unlikely Charlie will measure up anywhere near to Dad’s accomplishments. Tiger is the best to ever play in over 100 years of professional golf

I'm sure that this "golf thing" went way beyond his wildest dreams and he'd not only be grinning from ear to ear but also have a puffed out chest from pride

And the kid has swag... Amazing confidence... That is a full grown adult in that kids body...

Tiger was smart to allow us son to play without the pressures of the media and crowds. He will receive that going forward, this kid is the next champion.

That position?!?! OMG! Charlie looks like a long drive competitor. With his Dad's short game. He could be a beast.

In my 20s I was an assistant club pro at Bentwood Country Club in Houston and Charlie Sifford was a member there, so I met him a bunch of times. This was around 2000-2003 when Charlie was quite old. He'd come out and spend 6-8 hours on the practice green, just putting. Even in the dead of summer, and always with a cigar hanging out of his mouth. I still have an autographed copy of his book. Great guy

I think he is absolutely adorable I just love him and I love him and his father together it is so beautiful and heartwarming

I am happy to see tiger play again, what a great play Charlie and tiger the best of their best.

He is a future USA Ryder Cup Captain thats for sure, what a great swing for a small guy, exceptional, so glad to see Tiger back on the golf course, golf needs a fit Tiger, this will just be the start

The kind of tournaments Charlie more than likely plays in are kids who have pretty high skill levels, I would be shocked if he was the only PGA tour heir in those tournaments.

He’s very good already once he gets older he will be a beast to deal with on the golf , he has the best teacher in his life an glad his son is following his dads footsteps. Great video.

Charlie Woods couldn't of asked to have a more successful loving dad & teacher. When tiger finally retires, Charlie will be right there to take his father's place.

Tiger is likely to retire from competitive golf with his injuries. However he will remain a key figure in golf for a long time for sure. In 7-8 years, we'll see if Charlie can follow Tiger's footsteps.

He’s got an amazing swing for ANY age.

Just a note, I too learned on the pitch & putt in Presidio Park in Old Town, San Diego 😀!! Go Charlie!

Aside from golf, (can't believe I just said that about Tiger), I really feel warm inside with the love and affection Tiger has for his son. I feel like I'm watching young Tiger and his dad Earl. After Tiger won that one tournament when he hugged his dad so tight and cried, I cried too. When I just saw the clip again it got me, a little, lol. Charlie is a lucky kid to be loved like that.

I always thought Tiger had a great Body for the modern game at about 6 ft 1, and 200 lbs. He blew Augusta away during his first win there.

I saw that kid in the father-son tournament. He is an amazing player for his age.

hes going to be at the level of tiger's prime years with the recent clubs and drivers. Its going to be exciting to see

I’m excited to watch little Charlie play! I watched a few holes this weekend and the kid is a beast a 12!!!

Charlie can golf his ball, period. He does real good job of keeping himself pumped up by talking trash but that's o.k. too. A ton of character for his age. Hopefully we will see more of Charlie & Tiger Woods in the near future. Good Luck to them both for sure

Charlie's golfing mannerisms appear natural and gene-inherited, and NOT COPIED from his father, as mentioned in this clip. Charlie is his dad's son and hopefully he will continue to enjoy playing golf for pleasure or as a profession like his gather. Bless them boyh

if you practice stability/mobility/strength it's not going to hurt you. Players work outs now a days are so different than what Tiger did 2000

I was thinking the same thing. That said, I don't know of too many golfers who don't experience back issues at some point.

It's obvious Tiger will shield and protect Charlie.

It's fantastic his dad is keeping him out the limelight so he isn't exposed too early and can maintain his privacy. It will stand him in good stead as he reaches maturity along with modesty and remaining humble too...

Charlie has a fundamentally sound swing as good as any adult right now. I believe if he wants to he will be world number one by the time hes 21

Curious to know what handicap he is. Does he even have a handicap? He’s only 12. Does Tiger allow him to play off men’s tees. He could be less than 10. I think he’ll be off scratch within 2 years

The kid will be great and he will blaze his own trail.

At 3:00 he throws a little temper tantrum.. lol kids....

He wants to carry his dads name and legacy I believe. Maybe he plays only to make his father proud and does not look at the rest of the noise

Question: Why is Tiger Woods ALWAYS referred to as being "black" when he is 1/2 Thai? Now Charlie will also be referred to as black but he's actually 1/2 Swede, 1/4 Thai and 1/4 black. President Obama is 1/2 white and was raised by his white grandmother.

He's good...but scary good? Nah. He's not winning many if any junior events in Florida. Tiger was winning junior world events. And I'm not very sure how high the ceiling is, it's not like when he plays in college he's going to have access to better coaching, equipment and practice areas. So ehhhhh, maybe he will make it to the Korn ferry, beyond that...I don't think so

Tiger name after a south Vietnamese person Charlie (Viet Cong).

Anyone else find it a little odd that Tiger named his son after the enemy of the war his dad served in?

All this talk is just talk. What's Charlie's index? These are what I know. 1. Jack was a +3 when he was 13. 2. Tiger was also a +3 when he was 13. 3. Ernie was a scratch when he was 14. If Charlie can compare to those numbers, he will definitely be on the way. Otherwise, he will just end up like another guy who didn't make it on Tour.

Greg Norman was 16 going on 17 when he became a scratch. Went from 27 to scratch in a year and a half. It’s just too difficult to predict. Even though Jack and tiger were already +3s at 13 no one fully predicted how exceptional and dominant they eventually became.
